Once again, went here during my vacation in Canada during July. I heard Montreal was known for…read moretheir bagels, so why not try it out. This location didn't have any seating which sucks cause it meant I had to eat elsewhere, but honestly not the biggest deal. It was a decently small place, had fridges on the right with stuff for your bagel, merchandise on the left, and in the front, the bagels and the area where they make the bagels. The workers are know their stuff and are quick to work with. Usually, when I ask whether something has egg, they have to go ask someone else, but everyone here knew exactly what was in their bagels. They told me which bagels didn't have egg, and they told me whole wheat (I think, it's been a while), and pumpernickel. Do with that what you will. One of the employees actually told me after that they've always wondered how allergies to food works. I told him how and then he proceeded to tell me how he wish he was allergic to eggs so he could be skinnier. This man just made this a five star review. My bagel tasted great honestly. It was nice and sweet, wasn't a small bagel, and was almost pre-cut. This satisfied my bagel expectations. Definitely a nice place to stop by and get a bagel. It wasn't too expensive and service is great and quick. Go try a bagel bro.

Well, I had to find out for myself. The two bagels are very different. I may sound bias but the New York bagel is definitely better. That's not to say I didn't like the Montreal bagel, they're just not the same. The Montreal bagel tastes almost denser. We had the spicy everything bagel which is a first for me and a sesame bagel. Again, good. But I come from the home of bagels so it wasn't anything for me to write home about.
