Ate here for dinner tonight. We had pork osso buco and the Arctic char. It was incredible. We also had the soup of the day which was a comforting vegetable bean soup served with bread. For dessert an affogatto and chomeur's blueberry pudding with maple liquor. Everything was So delicious!!! What a wonderful setting overlooking the Tadoussac harbor! We sat outside during a perfect June day to enjoy our Moule frites. They were very fresh and tender but the broth was minimally seasoned, which was a slight disappointment. I was so looking forward to dipping my bread in it. Oh well, at least the mussels were delicious and the seafood risotto was fantastic. A very nice spot for an early dinner. read more

A quaint restaurant in the heart of Tadoussac. We had a snack in the early afternoon - croissants with mint and blueberry infused butter and a bran chocolate chip muffin. We were pleased so we decided to return for dinner. We had seafood risotto, mac n cheese and mussels. They were all delicious. The service was helpful and attentive. read more

Delicious dinner. We got here at 530 on a warm October night. When we left at 7, there were at least 10 people waiting outside. The service was fair, but the food made up for it. Camarine herbal tea had a juicy berry taste. Croque Matin was very good. The mustard was great & the ham & cheese were very good. The home fries were pretty good at the start; they were light but that meant they degraded fast. Baguette with shrimp was good. It was light and tasty and the pickle was great. This place is highly rated so we came here early to avoid line up. We arrived 5:45am and got in at 6:30. We sat down and waited 15min, still no one to take our order so we raise our hand and asked if we can place the order. The lady was saying she's not our server so she can't help. Very disappointing. We ended up getting our food at around 7:15. Food was okay, the appearance is very nice looking and I like the baked leaves, very crispy. The pork with Parmesan slices is also good. However I would say it's overprice. $31 for the osso bucco with orzo. The potato is not cooked. Taste is fine but portion too small. Not very good service and potato is not cooked well. I'd rate it 3/5 if potato is cooked. read more

I had a great breakfast early in the morning before catching my whale watching cruise last month. This is a super cute restaurant with yummy pastries and good coffee. It is slightly overpriced (as is expected in a touristy area). I would definitely recommend and go again! read more

A solid dining experience- right in the crazy tourist season made worse with opening up after COVID- cafe boheme did not disappoint. We had the mussels and the venison- I thought the mussels were fantastic and perfect for this weather. Soup was creamy buttery and fries were perfect. Venison was good too. It's difficult to eat in this town I think and if you can this restaurant is probably your best bet, if you want a no nonsense type of meal. Location: In the heart of Tadoussac. If you're staying in the center, you can easily walk. Street parking and lots are available however check the signage because in many cases, there appears to be a time limit (street parking) or you need to pay. There are a few free lots - Tadoussac's web site has a map that shows all paid and free parking. The place: Great little spot located in old house. They have two floors (only one was open) as well as a terrasse. The vibe is super casual. No frills, but all good! The goods: We stopped in for breakfast because every time we walked by in the evening, there was a line-up. Their menu is small but the food is great - I ordered the Croque Monsier on brioche and it was delicious! This was served with potatoes and fruit, and the portion was quite generous. Both my friend and I ordered the same thing and we both thoroughly devoured our meals! Service: Great - very friendly! Price point: It's a little expensive for breakfast - with a cup of their Chai, the total was about $27. Regardless, I would recommend this place. read more

Nice atmosphere. Ordered the vegan Coconut Curry to share with my partner and we both enjoyed it. Tasty and fresh. I liked the mix of edamame and chick peas with the greens and white/wild rice. During Covid they have draped plastic barriers between tables inside, and an outdoor patio as well. The online menu is in English as well as French. This is probably one of the only restaurants in Tadoussac that offers a clearly labeled vegan option (poutine for lunch and curry for dinner). I asked whether the soup of the day (maple rutabaga soup) was vegan and the waitress said yes, but it was suspiciously "creamy" and I highly doubt it actually was vegan. The food was a bit salty and on the pricey side, but that's to be expected in a small tourist town. read more

We fell in love with this restaurant. Ate here for supper our first evening in Tadoussac and enjoyed it so much went back for a late lunch the following day. I would have returned a third time but was convinced by the rest of my party to try a different place for our last meal in town. Lovely, lovely servers, very helpful and patient with our bad French but also spoke English. Everything we had was fresh and light. All salads were perfectly dressed which can be such a rarity. Not a single complaint about any of the dishes but if our party had to highlight our favourites, it would have to be the duck salad and lobster roll on their lunch time menu, as well as their perfectly crisp, shoestring fries served with mayo. For dessert aficionados the comforting pudding chômeur (apple) served with maple liquor was completely amazing. For those who like their salt, you might find the bison tartar a bit under seasoned but our party disagreed on this a bit. They are not currently taking reservations so be prepared to wait in line if you arrive during peak times. We went for supper around 6:30 and waited about 30-35 mins. A great coffee and food place . Ambiance is fabulous. I went twice for lunch. French fries delicious. Seafood pizza to die for. Coffee is a must. I was not taking by the soup but left 5 stars since everything was extra and was probably my taste. I will stop again next year! read more
