It was all visually beautiful AND tasty! My husband tried the homemade seabuckthorn lemonade drink which reminded us of a combination of pineapple and orange juice. Our entree was the mussels with onions and wine sauce with fries on the side. Delicious! The waitstaff were so friendly even though the restaurant got very busy while we were there. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. We continued to be tantalized by the pouding chomeur with blueberries. The desserts were on display in a dessert cabinet near us. They warmed up the pouding (which is a traditional Québécois dessert) and served it with a drizzle of cream sauce (containing Irish creme ?) . It was a wonderful ending to the meal.

The patio was nice enough looking into the town and out to the water... we came for dinner, decided to get only appetizers because the place looked like crap but we couldn't leave and then finally settled on dinner after we couldn't find much else with our panic searches. Menus were only in French, which is a serious problem if you don't speak French or have wifi to translate (and let's be clear, every single other restaurant we've been to in French Canada has given us an English menu.) The calamari was actually pretty good but very basic and other appetizers were mediocre at best. Food was all bar food and has some weird stuff (like no beef nachos, no regular burgers etc). We all got fish in chips, not horrible. The poutine was alright. Shrimp roll was gross. Our waitress even seemed to acknowledging that the food wasn't that great. Bar food at best, reheated Cisco at worst. And actually I've had better bar food. Don't come here, rough it out somewhere else or cook at home. Our first visit was after a 6-hour drive so we were famished. My friend and I both ordered the poutine and it was awesome. The fries weren't greasy, they were generous with the fromage and the gravy was perfect. Gravy is key to making a good poutine. Our second meal involved club sandwiches with a side of fries; again, the fries were great and the club sandwich was excellent. They offer a good variety of other eats too, like burgers, grilled cheese and hot dogs. Service: Good. Price point: I can't remember the exact prices but they were pretty decent, especially when compared to some of the other restaurants in the village. The drink menu varies between local brews, a small wine selection, and some interesting cocktails that I regret not trying. My friends and I shared a plate of nachos, an amazing way to start any pub meal. I do not remember exactly what was on them because I was not paying attention, which means they were good enough to distract me from analyzing their secrets. I ordered the smoked salmon sandwich, served in a crusty italian bun and dressed with a wasabi based dressing. This sandwich is responsible for changing the way I think about smoked salmon as an ingredient. The same can be said for wasabi. This sandwich was fresh and tasty the whole way through. The sauce was tasty and offered a mild burning sensation that begins at the pallet and exits the nose - a noteable trait of wasabi. My friends both ordered the Jack Daniels chicken pizza and both enjoyed it very much. Based off the bite I took, the toppings complimented each other well. The sauce added a level of smokiness, over the smokiness of the wood oven, that I enjoyed. Great pub if you are visiting Tadoussac. They are stocked with some tabletop games to keep busy with while it rains. The staff is great. Food is fantastic.
