The cat cafe is divided into a cafe where you order drinks/bakery and sit, and the cat lounge, which you can do a walk-in appointment or reserve a spot before hand on their website. (cat lounge opens at 11am) This space was beautiful in both area, with plenty of plant and cute spot to take a photo. The staff was very nice and polite. The drinks I got was matcha latte and the chocolate beignet, both were very delicious. They offer student discount for both food/drinks and cat lounge, with a present student ID The space was very clean, and I was impressed by how much work they put in to make sure the cats are well-taken care of as well as keeping the area sanitized and clean. You can adopt the cat directly from the cat cafe since they work closely with the local animal shelter. They offer variety of activities such as Yoga or Painting here. We ordered iced lattes and iced coffees. The iced latte essentially had no espresso whatsoever, and tasted like a glass of milk. The iced coffee was very weak. In order to have the cat cafe experience, you have to pay $10 for 30 minutes. There was no credit towards the cat experience when purchasing a coffee in their cafe. My favorite part was the decor. It was super cute. They wanted $35 for a T-shirt. The hostess was super rude as well. I felt like I needed to point that out. For parking, it is street metered parking. There is no charge on the weekends. It's not worth going out of your way for this cafe. Maybe I went on a bad day, but I will not return.

We've actually tried to return a couple times since that first visit, but apparently other people have discovered the place too. Both times we showed up without reservations and struck out. Lesson finally learned: MAKE. THE. RESERVATION. This time we did, and Room 33 reminded us exactly why we loved it in the first place. We both ordered Sonny's Short Rib, served over mashed potatoes with roasted carrots. Absolutely delicious -- tender, rich and packed with flavor. Although I gotta give the 2021 version the edge in the looks department. And you can't celebrate a birthday without dessert. Melissa went with the peanut butter pie, while yours truly handled the chocolate lava cake with ice cream. Both were worthy of the occasion. Different band than our first visit, but the same great energy. Live music, cocktails, that cool speakeasy atmosphere and a room full of people having a genuinely good time -- Room 33 just knows how to create a night out. Reservations are strongly recommended, especially when they have a band performing. My go-to dish is the short rib dish. The mashed potatoes are amazing and the short ribs are packed with flavor. On this particular visit, they were a bit skimpy on the au jus sauce (it's normally got a healthy laddle of pan sauce on the bowl) but that's okay. I did splurge for my birthday and get a slice of the peanut butter pie. It was super rich and exactly what peanut butter lovers want in a peanut butter pie.

Walking in with my service dog, the first thing I hear is this woman, yelling "puppy, puppy,…read morepuppy"! Apparently alerting the other employees. What a shock! I felt unwelcome. I ordered the downtown wok wrap as is & the green dream smoothie. The wrap took a very long time to prepare and there were few customers. It was very messy, with liquid dripping out of the wrap. I picked up half, and instantly, the fillings fell out. Now I'm sticky. You need wet wipes or sanitizer available. It was difficult to retrieve paper towels from the dispenser, and I asked an employee for help. He watched me attempt to dig them out without assistance, and when I finally ripped a few out, he turned away without a word. I thanked him loudly. Everything tasted good, buy by the end of my meal, I was extremely nauseous and almost threw-up in the trash. I hope to make it home before feeling ill again.

The food came out quickly, and the cashier was friendly. I tried the broccoli salad, which had cranberries and raisins. It leaned a bit sweet for my taste, but I appreciated that it didn't include bacon. The space is larger than it appears from the outside, with a mix of booths and tables. There's also a nice selection of gifts that are fun to browse. Overall, it's a great spot for lunch I'll be back.

Stopped in Erie to grab our boat before we headed on vaca, and i happened to notice this little…read morehole in the wall on Main St. Fresh bread was our aim, and the lovely woman who seemed to be in charge, told her younger employee at the cash register -- who first stated that they were out of bread cuz they were baking for "the market" -- that she would sell me a sourdough loaf if I wanted Parmesan garlic. Um, yes! Loved that accommodation. I grabbed an iced decaf for good measure, and hopped back in the car. The bread was still warm! That night, when we made it to our destination, we sliced up our bread and had it with pasta. It was pretty dense for sourdough - and we opted to warm the bread to take advantage of the parmesan slivers tucked into the bread. That definitely improved the flavor. The bread was ok, but the spirit with which it was given was so appreciated that *that* made it taste even better. We'll definitely be back.

Pressed is a coffee bookstore than my best friend has done nothing but rave about saying "their set…read moreup is just the best!" So when I drove up from SC to visit I had to see what all the fuss was about. Sadly, I took more videos than photos as umm be posting them to my author and book pages (@shewriteswithknives). So if you're wanting an interior look by me you'll have to check there at a later date. Now let's get into it. Pressed is cute. Very cute! This bookstore had a particular charm that made me want to look everywhere at once without being overloaded. I was excited to see they had less mainstream books, thus making their selection a bit wider. I somehow managed to only buy one book and paired it with a lavender matcha iced latte. On top of their book selection they have several cute stickers, hats, candles and assorted bookish knickknacks to enhance your reading experience. I'm very glad I was able to drop by.

We walked into the bright and welcoming bookstore before heading over to the coffee shop and I instantly felt a tinge of happiness! The coffee shop is very bright with floor to ceiling windows, several seating arrangement and a creative menu that had monthly specials that are boom themed. I opted for an iced lavender latte with oat milk 1/2 sweet. The baristas were really friendly and even offered me a punch card for my next visits. My coffee was great, the flavor was perfect . I hope to visit again during my next trip to Erie (unfortunately they don't open until 8am). If you're ever in the area grab yourself a cup of coffee and cozy up with a good book!
