    avocado toast

Very popular bakery that offers sweet and savory breakfast and lunch items and beautiful pastries in the window. Over a few weeks, I tried their avocado toast, croissants, savory croissant, strawberry matcha cruffin, baklava, and berry cinnamon roll! It was all tasty, but make sure it's microwaved at home as they can get pretty firm. Service is quite kind and will bring out your dish to you when you're seated inside. It's a lively cafe with most people chatting and some working/studying.

A quaint little bakery downtown I visited this bakery the morning of a weekday, and they were bustling with people. They offer a variety of baked goods and pastries as well as coffee options. Turkish coffee was very flavorful and served in a neat tiny coffee cup with a saucer. Tried their freshly baked pita with ground beef and cheese, and it was delicious. Ordered Dulce de leche cake to go. It was tasty with the right amount of sweetness. Though I found the cake texture to be a little too dry for my liking (not sure whether it is meant to be dry or not). The presentation of their bakery and dessert was spot on. There is plenty of seating inside Staff were friendly and happy to explain things to you. The products are on the higher end, price-wise. Parking can be challenging if you go during rush hours.

The Bakery on 5th has so many luscious pastries to offer. The people there are kind and welcoming to all. They give great suggestions on what to order. The atmosphere is pleasant and Instagram worthy. The macaroons has exquisite tastes with a strawberry coconut and Dubai chocolate. The Lucky Charm latte was also amazing!

Delicious, fresh avacado toast with salmon for lunch along with an Americano. Excellent food, service and the type of atmosphere you can linger in. Reasonable prices and gigantic baked goods with a homemade flavor. I took a piece of Peanut Nutella cake home for later and it was amazing!

This Bakery is amazing! The desserts were beautiful and very flavorful. I enjoyed a Nutella filled croissant and it was flakey & fresh. The coffee was also delightful, I enjoyed an iced caramel macchiato and it was a good level of strength & had a great flavor. Highly enjoyed and will come back if I find myself in Erie again

    Savory goodness!!!

Very clean and comfy feeling to enjoy your dessert. We did savory on this trip in. We went back on Mother's Day because that is where I wanted to go. Everything we tried was phenomenal!!! I only took 1 picture but should have takin more. There was a line out the door.. to me that speaks volumes.

Cake pops, baklava, cakes, macarons, creme brûlée, napoleon and more!

So delicious! Coffee was great, quiche was served warm. We definitely come back and try more!

I ordered a custom cake for my parents' 50th anniversary party. The cake was absolutely beautiful! A random woman asked to take a picture of it when I walked it to the car. It was a stunning centerpiece of the party. I was a little sad to cut it. Thankfully we did because the cake was absolutely delicious! I particularly loved the filling. Everyone commented on it. Thank you for making my parents' party that much more special and thank you for taking care of each of my requests.

This place is truly a hidden gem! Second time visiting so far. Wonderful selection of both French and Turkish style pastries and desserts as well as many cafe drinks. Very cozy atmosphere and located near the arts district in Erie. A must-stop if you are in the area!

Pressed is a coffee bookstore than my best friend has done nothing but rave about saying "their set…read moreup is just the best!" So when I drove up from SC to visit I had to see what all the fuss was about. Sadly, I took more videos than photos as umm be posting them to my author and book pages (@shewriteswithknives). So if you're wanting an interior look by me you'll have to check there at a later date. Now let's get into it. Pressed is cute. Very cute! This bookstore had a particular charm that made me want to look everywhere at once without being overloaded. I was excited to see they had less mainstream books, thus making their selection a bit wider. I somehow managed to only buy one book and paired it with a lavender matcha iced latte. On top of their book selection they have several cute stickers, hats, candles and assorted bookish knickknacks to enhance your reading experience. I'm very glad I was able to drop by.

We walked into the bright and welcoming bookstore before heading over to the coffee shop and I instantly felt a tinge of happiness! The coffee shop is very bright with floor to ceiling windows, several seating arrangement and a creative menu that had monthly specials that are boom themed. I opted for an iced lavender latte with oat milk 1/2 sweet. The baristas were really friendly and even offered me a punch card for my next visits. My coffee was great, the flavor was perfect . I hope to visit again during my next trip to Erie (unfortunately they don't open until 8am). If you're ever in the area grab yourself a cup of coffee and cozy up with a good book!

It can be difficult to tell if the storefront is open by the outside but both the signage and website can help inform you. Inside, the cafe is spacious yet cozy, with beautiful tables and chairs (although I did notice an absence of any type of decor or wall art; perhaps that will come in time). The menu has all of the standards. I tried a custom vanilla bean cold brew and it was the best I've ever tried anywhere! Perfectly crafted, excellent (locally roasted) beans, and friendly service on top of it all. I appreciated that my drink was even delivered to my table - you don't get that any coffeeshop, and certainly not a big chain. At the time of this review, the kitchen, which offers a few simple breakfast items, closes at 2pm, although the shop is open into the early evening hours most days. Plan ahead if you are in need of an afternoon snack, although a few baked good are available at the counter. The space offers lovely music in the background and free WiFi. I found it a very comfortable space to work for a spell and while I did I noticed the constant flow of customers, which was delightful to see, especially in a new business. It's great to have these type of locally owned and operated one-of-a-kind places in the region. I'll certainly make the drive to visit again just for the coffee and neighborhood feel. I look forward to seeing how this cafe grows. Recommended!!

So far, I have only tried Chai tea latte and Dirty chai, but will definitely try other items in the future. My favourite part here, other than delicious drinks and books, are that they offer to buy back the book that you recently purchased, and will give you store credit to be used for your next purchase, or you can also bring in any books you currently own, and sell it to them for store credit. Grab a drinks, your favourite book and get lost in another world!
