Love supporting family business. We came across this spot by Yelp. Cute little spot in the corner of a plaza . Lots of parking and it wasn't busy when we came in around lunch time. They have some out door seating which was nice since the weather was super nice. The cashier was friendly and also really helpful as she mentioned my latte had no coffee in it. She mentioned she can add a shot if I liked. We ordered the iced ube Vietnamese coffee too. They had a variety of sandwiches and bahn mi sandwiches. Both sandwiches were really tasty and delicious. The staff were really friendly and personable. I will definitely come here with the family.

I love this place so much, they deserve more recognition for their delicious banh mis and extremely friendly staff! I highly recommend their thai tea, blended -- you won't regret it. It's so creamy and the thai tea flavor is so prominent and delicious. I get it so much that the staff remembers my order! This has been my favorite place to get banh mi and sandwiches.

Everytime I visit Manteca I always come here for a banh mi. Nice lil mom and pop shop and the owners/staff are always friendly and attentive. My family and I always order the special banh mi and it's a 10/10 always. The sandwich itself is thick and filling it usually last my family two meals but i be finishing it like a snack. They have other items on their menu other than banh mi, such as sandwiches, paninis, rice bowls, drinks, and smoothies. They have indoor and outdoor seating as well. Yall slide thru over here don't be missing out!!

This place has been saved on my list of places for quite a while lol since I'm in the area I wanted to come by and get a quick bite, and I'm so glad i did. Me and hubby came in and didn't have trouble finding it. The place is pretty small but really cute decor and a few tables for sitting inside and outside. I was greeted as I walked in there is a handful of sandwiches on the menu and drinks. The food was amazing very flavorful with each bite there was a crunch as well definitely want to come back for another one lol. Everything was a hit.

Friendly Cambodian family run business. Small cafe with In door / outdoor seating option . No waitstaff, order food at the counter . Definitely a great place for breakfast, brunch and lunch . Serves American style sandwiches, salads , bagels , mixed tea & fruit beverages . Variety of Cambodian Nom Pang / Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwiches. nostalgia moments bring me back to my childhood , their Khmer rice plate with eggs, Chinese sausage and spam. many Asian kids after school snacks . My two youngest mentioned the Chinese sausage were hard, it was a challenge to penetrate with their plastic fork . Cambodian Nom Pang / Vietnamese Bahn mi ( sandwiches) with sour pickled daikon/ carrots , love it add so much flavor when combined with the fried eggs and American style sausage patties and the toasted crunchy bread. My vermicelli chicken bowl needs improvement , the noodles were a tad too al dente not as soft , the chicken were more bland in taste . I appreciate the the abundance of vegetables, the sweet / sour fish sauce dip really compliments the flavor My two eldest were impressed with their hot toasted sandwiches . They mentioned "this is really good ". Needless to say the next day , they asked to stop by again before our drive back home . Sadly the business is closed on Sunday.

Best Banh Mi sandwiches in town. Fresh and flavorful ingredients. Service team is very friendly. I usually order for pickup but the cafe does offer indoor and outdoor seating. The cafe seems to be a neighborhood staple, they know a lot of their customers, making it a very welcoming atmosphere.

My family and I bought Banh Mi and a few items To-Go. It was out first time visiting and they are surprisingly great! Food tastes fresh. The Banh Mi was exceptional. Price wise it was not expensive. The owners was provided excellent service! The ambience was warm and homey feel. Definitely recommend this place if you are in the Manteca area.

We love this place. It's one of those we don't think of often, but if we're on that side of town and decide to eat out it's on our radar. It's a pretty small place and there's not a ton of seating, but the food is worth it. You order up at the counter and service is very friendly. We usually order bahn mi and get chicken teriyaki for our 5 year old. It ends up being plenty of food!

This place should be packed everyday , it's a small family run business with small dining area , decorated cute with a great menu on the wall to see before you order. They also love my favorite team so go and check them out . I've lived here since 2018 and this is by far THE BEST place for Vietnamese iced coffee in Manteca . The Food is also amazing and always fresh ! Let's not forget the Customer service is top tier , always friendly even if it's slow or busy . If you haven't tried this place then your missing out on one of THE BEST places in Manteca and there isn't many . Once you try this place you'll be back . I'm gonna miss this place but when I come back through here this is where I will be eating and getting my coffee fix for sure ! Go check them out !

I had seen this cafe before and decided to give it a try. It's a nice locally owned cafe and the owners work there. They have a great variety of sandwiches on their menu. They also have smoothies coffee and boba. I went with two others and we tried the Benjamin button which was modified for my vegan friend, the breakfast sandwich and a bbq pork Vietnamese sandwich. Everything we tasted was amazing. Each had their own flavors and everything went together perfectly. I highly recommend any of those sandwiches. When my friend asked for vegan options they were very willing and open of their options and what they could do to make it vegan. They are also so sweet and helpful and really make you feel at home. They greet you with a smile and make sure you leave satisfied and happy. I highly recommend this place and if you haven't been it is definitely worth a stop. read more

I had the house combo bahn mi. It was good, but not the best bahn mi. There could have been more meat. I could taste the pate, but couldn't taste the meat at all. A bit disappointing because the ratings were so high. Maybe just family or friends reviewing. The bread was light, airy and warm and veggies were good. What's up Yelpies Here's a fine example of fresh food at its peak. I had the Turkey Bacon Club with a side of fruit salad and a Thai iced coffee. The sandwich was amazing they don't skip out on anything plus they make their own pickles that take the flavor over the top. The fruit salad was great and the Thai iced coffee will keep me from going into a food coma due to the awesome size of this sandwich. The price is in the market and I would have paid more due to how good the customer service is and the food. If your in Manteca and want a great meal this is the spot for a great sandwich. read more

New to the area and just found one of our favorite spots for a quick and decently price place. Both people in charge have great personality and they are very friendly, you could immediately tell they want your business and that they care about customer satisfaction. Their sandwiches are amazing, I loved the BBQ pork sandwich and the special lemongrass beef. My wife usually orders the Benjamin with portobello mushrooms, super tasty and healthy!! This Cafe is DELICIOUS! I should have known already from the reviews but I had to check it out myself. Customer service was really good, staff are really polite and didn't miss a beat when we ordered things specifically. I tried the breakfast sandwich and I loved the crispy bacon .. Mm mmm so yummy! Can't believe I have yet to review this gem! Been here many times and always impressed with either the sandwich or drink I order! But my fave is the Vietnamese coffee on the need a jump start day! Not only is it yummy but gives you the kick needed to get through the day. Today I ordered the grilled Hot torta Supreme with Turkey sandwich no bacon and it did not disappoint! The pesto to top it off was on point and the bread perfect crunch and grilled. Seriously well made and a good portion. The staff super friendly and taking precautions with COVID. Found this gem in Manteca and am thankful I did, the moment I got to there little table, at the door I knew this is the spot! Right away got along with everyone there, and asked what they'd recommend on the menu, and they let me know what's popular. So not going make you wait any longer ordered my husband and I the following delicious sandwiches.. The Yosemite Sandwich and The Turkey Bacon Club look no further this was the bomb.com! Let me get to the drinks ordered a Red Eye Coffee for the hubby and for me a Vietnamese cold drink definitely perfect balance of just a little sweet. Also, the egg rolls thigh small and hit the spot with the house made sauce! This was a humble spot with so many delicious choices I've found my local spot, and will definitely be a regular. It is about still having a human connection even though we can't be close we can still connect with food, culture, and true meaning of human kindness even now! This morning, my husband and I visited, and we were somewhat disappointed with the quality of our orders. He ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk, while I ordered an oat milk latte with an extra shot of espresso at a temperature of 200 degrees. He also selected a ham, cheese, and egg croissant, and I opted for a bacon and cheese croissant. Regrettably, the items did not meet our expectations. The beverages lacked the desired strength; although the temperature was correct, I was informed after placing our order that they were out of oat milk and had to substitute it with almond milk. Given that we had already paid approximately $30, this was quite disappointing. Despite these concerns, we did not request a discount or refund, and we accepted the substitution that was communicated to us approximately 10 to 15 minutes after placing our order. On a positive note, the staff were very courteous, and the establishment was clean. However, I suspect that the items we ordered may not represent the best offerings on their menu. While the service was commendable, there was a notable wait involved. It would have been preferable to have been informed of the oat milk shortage prior to payment, as we might have chosen to leave at that point. Unfortunately, our dissatisfaction led us to seek alternative options, and we subsequently drove to Stockton to visit Peet's Coffee, where we consistently find lattes prepared to our liking. While we may not return to this location, I do not wish to portray it negatively. It is clear that the establishment has potential, yet our experience did not align with our expectations.

I stumbled upon this small hole in the wall sandwich shop and I am so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly smile from the staff. The service was exceptional and they were so helpful in recommending some of their best sandwiches. I tried the chicken ban mi and banjamjn button sandwiches and they were absolutely delicious! The flavors were incredible and the ingredients were fresh. I could tell that a lot of care and attention went into making each sandwich. I've been coming to Cafe Aroma since FOREVER. I love the staff and really appreciate them making us feel so welcome in their shop.
