Got off the water and we're hot and needed a refreshing beverage and a snack. Perfect stop! The scone was delish!

I'm so confused by the bad reviews. Had late lunch there today and the whole experience was fantastic. First off, as soon as I stepped in a pouring rain storm started it so they were busy re-seating everyone from the deck to inside. It was chaotic but they handled it really well as they tried to transition people to get their food to go, find alternative seating and still deal with all the people coming in the door. I ordered the special, Fish and chips. It actually came with a salad first which was different but since I was starving, awesome. I was a little unsure ordering that in the middle of nowhere but the fish was firm and flavorful and the coating was delicious. The french fries were cut from real potatoes- I suspect fairly shortly before they were served to me. They had that texture that real potatoes have that some people hate, the ones tjat eat at McDonald's all the time. But the real gem was the service, which is why I'm so confused by the bad reviews. I had taken a tumble while hiking and injured my hand. I sat at the table and was icing it and the waitress asked me several times if I was OK. I actually wasn't. But I was so hungry I just needed to get something to eat before dealing with my hand. She actually offered to find someone to drive me back to Eden. And then she insisted, because I was by myself, knowing what car I was in in case I got in any trouble. Fantastic food. Fantastic service. And can't wait to take my family there next weekend. read more

Service was terrible.We waited an hour and a half once we were seated they refused to bring us drinks. I asked the waitress to smile and she said she didn't feel like smiling and boss lady said if we didn't like it we could leave. Told us if we didn't they would call the sheriff. These people should not be in business if they can't handle more than two tables at a time. Unfriendly is an over statement. read more
