    Two Bit Blue Chips
    Alan S.

Walked in at 4 pm. Greeted and seated immediately by Braxton. Heather was our server. She was friendly and informative. We ordered the Two Bit Blue Chips as an appetizer, Mediterranean Melt sandwich, Reuben (pastrami), tomato bisque soup, side salad, and seasoned fries. The food came out at a good pace and everything was delicious. It was a lot of food. We definitely left satisfied and full. On a side note, the building is on the historic registry. The restaurant is nicely furnished with great natural lighting. Formerly called Two Bit Cafe and located about three blocks west of the current location - this is one is better IMO.

Also this menu they gave was not available after we ordered lol had to only order off of an egg brunch menu

Servers were so pleasant but for Brunch party of 8 waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for egg brunch... we enjoyed chatting but too long to wait for cold meals

The short: This is…read morethe kind of place that you think of when you hear neighborhood coffee shop. Got awesome waffles(hurt my wallet though). The long: This is the kind of place that you can imagine someone coming here every day for years. Some place that's so deeply intertwined with a random neighborhood and you wouldn't ever know about it unless you came here. It's got character, the scratches in the walls, the adorable tables and chairs, adorable trinkets and treats you can buy, nice baristas up front and some awesome hot chocolate and waffles. Now the only reason I give it 4 instead of five is because it is $6 per waffle, I don't love it but I will admit that they'd get me paying that same $6 every time I went in there. But as I said the aesthetic was perfect. Especially for a coffee date or just taking a seat and reading a book. I genuinely enjoyed my time here, and i believe if you enjoy coffee shops then you would too. Thanks for letting me stop by and eating some killer waffles! 4.25/5

Was staying across the street in Ogden for a couple of days and stopped by each morning for drinks…read moreand pastries. This place is located in a cute and quiet neighborhood, and is pretty cozy. The shop itself offers a warm and welcoming environment and is bustling with customers trying to get their morning fix. Although the shop is a bit small, there is plenty of seating and an open area to wait for your items. Additionally, art and merchandise line the walls, so there is always something to look at. I personally ended up buying a sticker of a painting made by a local artist. As for the drink/pastries I ordered a pumpkin chai with their house made puree and was not disappointed. I enjoyed it a lot. The only downside was it had a slightly odd aftertaste. As for the pastries, I had a blueberry banana muffin and a pumpkin turnover which were just alright. Staff are friendly and personable, even during the chaos of a rush. Lowkey though, the minimum option to tip being 20% is kind of crazy, considering that it is /just/ a small coffee shop. Still gave the tip anyway. Overall, it was a good experience and I enjoyed my drink both mornings I was here. I see why it is always so busy. If i'm in the area again, I'd likely come back. *staff/customers in my attached photos have been blurred to protect their identity.

The restaurant has nice…read moreambience--it was busy but not too loud, and the design felt modern and inviting with tons of natural light and well spaced tables. One odd thing--they use table clothes but then put paper on top. This felt a bit off for the fancy atmosphere they were trying to create. We had lots of delicious food. Our meal started off with the Daily Bread & Butter and Caesar. Both paired well together. For entrees, I had the Wagyu Zabuton, which was cooked well and was paired with flavorful sides. My husband had the Lamb Chops, which were beautifully plated. All the cocktails were amazing, but my favorite was the Madam's Choice. They didn't do anything special for anniversaries, but it was fine because we were full of food and took the leftovers home. I'm excited to try this place for Sunday brunch next!

If you're coming here, get the chicken sandwich. It may not be the flashiest item on the menu, but…read moretrust me. The flavor palette is just absolutely exquisite and will justify your coming here. ...and on that note. I had to wait what felt like an epoch for my delicious, chicken-y reward, and despite the size of the restaurant and relatively tame level of busy-ness, wait staff still took their sweet time and did not get bread out in a timely fashion. The ambiance is like 'millennial interior design final boss' - imagine being trapped within the pages of Magnolia Table, and everyone looks and sounds like the first Google results for 'hipster'. I wouldn't mention this if the smarminess of staff didn't compound the frustration of having to wait forever for like three pieces of bread. So, if you're in the area and have a refined palette that craves rich, delicious flavors against a backdrop of open French windows, I'd say go for it. The food definitely outcompetes the annoyance I felt. But seriously, get the chicken sandwich.

We were really pleased with food, which came out pretty quickly. I had the country fried steak with hashbrowns, two eggs and a scone. The scone came out first and was not the type of scone I was used to in Washington State. This was fried dough with a nice lump of cinnamon butter on top. Absolutely delicious, but more of a dessert so I set that aside for after the meal. The meal is huge. The country fried steak was just perfect with excellent sausage gravy. The two eggs were cooked well and it can with a great pile of hashbrowns that were delicious. Others enjoyed their food as well, particularly the waffles. Definitely a great place for breakfast.

Short review: I'm…read moregoing to say that I think there's some great items on this menu and some poor ones. I'm giving it a 4 based on what it CAN be, not off what I got Really quick service I was impressed, I'd get something besides the cajun potatoes. More in depth: Here's what I say about this place, I like the vibe. It was pretty clean in there and the food came out really quickly. Was it the best thing I've ever had? No, not really but I see the potential based on what they have on the menu and what other people have gotten. I got the spicy chicken sandwich, was it spicy? No. Was it good? Yes. The Cajun potatoes were not what I expected, for somewhere serving brunch. I expected breakfast potatoes with extra Cajun seasoning although it turned out to be more like Cajun potato chips, they were okayish. For those you local to Ogden, this replaced the old sonic right on 12th St. it's right next to the chipotle. I guess what I want to say is, based on what I saw on the menu and at the restaurant I feel like there were better items for me to get was it bad? No, the sandwich is actually pretty good just not spicy.... but I am giving the four stars based on what it could've been and what I've seen other people get .
