Delicious cherry danish and Morehouse Iced Macchiato
    Denise C.

Today was my first time visiting Cafe Bartique. This coffee shop was such a relaxing vibe and just what the doctor ordered for me this morning. The customer service was so friendly. Mark was a gem. He offered great recommendations for my milk substitute choice as well as just the right temperature to warm my danish which was DELICIOUS! I thoroughly enjoyed the Morehouse Iced Macchiato drink! Very good coffee. My danish and coffee drink were brought to my table, served on a plate with silverware. There was free parking in a lot adjacent to the building as well as street parking. I plan to visit Cafe Bartique again the next time I'm in the area.

This coffee shop is an absolute gem and I cannot wait to come back. The inside is absolutely gorgeous with green walls and seating and beautiful decor from black artists. I believe this might be a black-owned business. The tea I got was delicious. It was a blueberry hibiscus herbal tea, and they have sugar and honey on the side you can add to it. They had a decent amount of good options as well. The barista was super sweet and helpful and I'm really glad I stumbled upon this place. They placed really good music and kept it at a low volume so you can work or chat without being overwhelmed by really loud music like other coffee shops typically do.

A lovely cafe in Cascade Heights, Cafe Bartique is so worth the visit. I have been trying to get out of the house and try more local coffee shops vs. working from home indoors all of the time, and my latest visit was to Bartique. Located on a busy street, if you weren't looking for the cafe, you could possibly miss it. There's a bunch of parking available along the street and it wasn't difficult to find a spot during my visit on a weekday morning. When I walked inside, I was pleasantly surprised at the space inside. Although a bit narrow, there was a nice line of seating available inside, leaving room for over a dozen guests to sit comfortably. I was so happy to see that there were outlets lining the wooden seating near the tables, making it perfect for a solo workday. I grabbed a seat and headed to the counter to order. The menu offers some great variety without being overwhelming, which is always appreciated, especially in the morning. For my first drink, I opted for the Caan vs. Can, a butter pecan-focused drink. Let me say - this was delicious!! I was sad that I didn't get a larger size! For my second drink, I went for The Atlanta Dream, although tasty, not as good as the first, but still . I also ordered a grit bowl with pork sausage and extra bacon on the side. My grits and bacon were really good, creamy and buttery, no extra seasoning needed. My eggs were a bit overcooked and the portion was smaller than expected, but it was still a great breakfast. The team here was also really sweet and they were whipping up those drinks and bites like it was nothing. Such a wonderful spot, definitely a must-try coffee spot.

Cafe Bartique is such a cute, cozy coffee shop and I genuinely enjoyed my visit. I ordered the Spelman Chick -- a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant -- along with the Whew Chai (hot with oat milk), and both were amazing. The croissant was buttery and fresh, the chicken salad was flavorful without being heavy, and the chai was perfectly spiced and comforting. Everything tasted thoughtfully made, which immediately stood out. I grabbed a seat by the window and loved the vibe. It felt like a true city coffee shop but without all the noise -- calm, relaxing, and easy to settle into. It's the kind of place you can sit, unwind, and actually enjoy your coffee and food without feeling rushed. I can't wait to come back.

**First Timer** This is such a great little café. I stumbled across it when I was walking Cascade to another appointment. Cascade Heights area has really come up in many years. I really love this spot. It's very quaint with tasty drinks, fresh pastries, and a very polite staff. This has become my new spot. Goodbye Starbucks. I love the vibe here. Support small business. Give this place a try.

Stopped by this beautiful Black-owned coffee shop and instantly fell in love with the atmosphere. The decor is stylish, warm, and thoughtfully put together. I got the Whew Chai with coconut milk and added lavender syrup -- it was so good and creamy! My sister tried the marshmallow matcha, a unique and yummy twist on matcha. Service was quick, and there's plenty of parking either on the street or in the lot just a few steps away from the shop. It's the kind of place that reminds you coffee can be more than just a drink -- it's community, culture, and creativity in a cup.

This place is adorable! Green walls + plants + cute, comfy furniture = TIME WELL SPENT We also went on a day where there was a live DJ and affogato offerings with the ice cream shop next door. Even with everything going on, I still had such a productive work block. There are plenty of outlets and all the making of a great study/work spot. And so now..:the food. I LOVED that they made the salmon cream cheese in house. I could taste the difference and my bagel was awesome. I wish my chai had been a tad hotter, but it did not put a damper on my experience at all. The staff were great and the service was timely (they bring your order to your table and they use actual dishes instead of disposables). The menu is fun, too! Just a solid and classy choice for chilling out and/or getting things done. As a remote freelancer, this has to be one of my favorite places to bring my laptop and vibe.

Decided to stop by a great neighborhood gem -- Café Bartique in Cascade Heights! Such a nice and pleasant ambiance, All staff was so friendly, I ordered at counter and decided to dine in. perfect for a midday break. I treated myself to a smooth cappuccino and a delicious cream cheese Danish -- both hit the spot! Whether you're looking to chill, catch up with a friend, or get some remote work done, this cozy café has you covered. Bring your laptop and soak in the relaxed vibes. Plenty of seating options too -- sit inside or enjoy the fresh air with sidewalk seating. There's parking available both on the street and in a lot, which makes it super convenient.

I stopped by this coffee shop on the way to volunteer. It's beautiful inside with plenty of seating, a parking lot, and street parking. Great customer service, and the coffee and food were amazing. I'll definitely be back

I had such a great visit to Cafe Bartique in the historic Cascade Heights neighborhood! This Black-owned cafe has amazing vibes -- the decor, ambiance, and music all make it a super cozy spot. I tried the Marshmallow Matcha (Drink of the Week) and it was delicious. My sister had the Whew Chai with lavender and coconut milk, and it was amazing! The service was friendly and fast, and there's plenty of parking either on the street or in the lot next door. I also love seeing a local spot like this thriving in the community. Highly recommend stopping by!

What went well EVERYTHING! Great menu for small bites - the dip dip baby was an unexpected delight along with my "Caan Can Pecan latte". Good service and host staff who checked in to ensure we were satisfied with our food. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, I also love the selfie seat area(just what us yelper's need!) Looking forward to making this a regular.

Haven't even eaten anything yet, just reviewing the vibes and menu names. I got "the Outkast" which is a bacon egg n cheese croissant but you can get sausage pork or turkey too. Will be coming back for a "Morehouse Macchiato" , "the Doctor Williams Special", a "Mr Ice Cream Man....Master P the Ice Cream maaaaaaaan" and a "Spelman Chic"....about to support the hell outta this place.

It's so refreshing to see more restaurants open in SW Atlanta. And all of the new restaurants are good. Cafe Bartique is one of them. If you follow my reviews you know that I order in (Door Dash or Uber Eats) while I work from home. This is one of the restaurants I plan to visit in person.

They've been desperately hiring the past few weeks and seem to be sucking at employee retention. You will probably run into a drugged out homeless person while patronizing this business. The inside is charming but in a grunge way. There's potential but it's just not hitting it these days. They didn't have any of their listed non-dairy milk options nor any bread except for naan (and no bread the second day I came). I've gone in often and they've run out of inventory with no timeline of replenishing. I was able to get a B.E.C. sandwich ONCE in the handful of times I've been here. It was decent and fairly priced, but unavailable the following visits I made. At some point I had to have a sandwich made with no bread because they were out. That was my last time there. Most of the baristas appear to hate working here or simply being on the planet lol. My last visit I was looped into an unwarranted political conversation when just trying to grab a coffee. I get that it's near a college campus so EVERYTHING is made unnecessarily political these days unfortunately, but maybe they should coach their folks to not engage unsuspecting customers in these conversations... literally just prioritize the JOB and the BUSINESS and the customer experience. I don't need or want a lecture on how unbearable you think our country is when I'm just trying to get a drink. It's a horrible business practice to assume ~anyone's~ social/political leaning and I hope we as a society can collectively move into a space where we stop normalizing this behavior. Hope they can pull it together because in theory it is a neighborhood asset. But currently? No bueno.

I circled the block before I found street parking about a block away from the coffee shop. Because it was a weekday morning, I wasn't surprised that the streets were busy and parking didn't end up costing too much. After a brief walk, I approached the building and first impressions were fantastic. Daydreamer is connected to an apartment building and the aesthetics are on point. Like, this place is gorgeous! There was way more seating than I expected, inside of the cafe, outside on the terrace, and inside of the attached leasing office. There were a number of tables, booths and even comfy couches to lounge on. Electrical outlets weren't plentiful, but I eventually snagged a booth that had a plug. Yay! There seemed to only be one menu at the front and it said 'please don't take', lol. So I stayed very close to the register as I read the menu, but I'm hoping they just ran out or my 4-eyed self missed the larger menu on display. I decided to go with the sugar graham hot latte w/ oatmilk and one of their pastries. The employee behind the counter was really patient and so kind to every customer, he was running that counter like the navy. 5-stars for him! I see why this place is such a hit among other Yelpers. This has got to be one of the most aesthetically pleasing coffee shops I have ever seen. In addition to the gorgeous midcentury modern decor, there is a ton of seating available. I believe the coffee shop is attached to the apartment building, so the theme runs between both large seating areas. It was so cool! My matcha was delicious! I ended up going with the Morning Matcha (Lavender and White Chocolate, I added oat milk) and it did not disappoint! The prices were on par with other coffeehouses in the midtown ATL area. I did not have a chance to try the pastries but hopefully next time! Overall, this was a great experience! I look forward to visiting soon. Parking can be difficult in midtown so be mindful of that when visiting. Definitely a great place to study and get some work done if needed. Happy Eating!!

They focus on New Orleans/Louisiana style drinks for their signatures, but they have all the lattees and fancy macciatos available for the coffee snobs like me. I enjoyed their New Orleans style coffee and it was a good blend of spices yet not too strong. My cousin got a cappaccino which had pretty coffee art. This isn't the place to go if you're on a type of diet needing to alter ingredients to make it fit. Just throwing that out there. Their New Orleans style coffee comes pre-made. They have other options, but don't try to get their signature items. Note, they do have seating. Like one table and some bar stools, but that counts right? I don't believe it was near an outlet to do some work, but it wasn't too busy.
