Stopped by on a cold rainy day, and Drip was such a great place to be. Amazing food, tasty lattes, and there was even a sweet cat hanging out in the coffee shop! Definitely build your own breakfast sandwich, and try one of their fresh pastries.

This place is so cool! I came across this shop when randomly looking for a local coffee shop that also had food options. It was conveniently located in a nice neighborhood with plenty of street parking. Once you go inside, you get this nice homey feel. There's not alot of seating, but there are indoor and outdoor options. They also have books for your entertainment. I ordered one of their breakfast sandwiches and also a vanilla chai, both of which were amazing! The service was very quick as well and they had some great music in the background. I will definitely be back!

This place has a nice vibe for remote working. They have comfy chairs, and there's street parking available. The iced chai was good, and they also have food available.

Was on the hunt for a coffee shop to relax and read my book, luckily I came across Drip. They had plenty of options for your coffee (or tea) drinking needs! I loved their assortment of different flavors because lavender is a personal favorite. Their breakfast croissant sandwich was tasty and well prepared! They had plenty of seating options whether you wanted inside or out. The music they played was very chill making it a great environment to work on your laptop or read a book. The server was very welcoming and warm. Hopefully next time we go back we can experience one of the baristas making the artwork on our lattes lol.

Located not too far away from Grant Park, this cozy coffee shop sits right in the downtown area of Glenwood Park. Love this little community! Pretty much, you'll be searching for street parking if you don't live here, but it wasn't hard to find a spot. This shop has tons of outdoor seating and very comfy seating indoors. Love the decor and ambiance of the place; as if they combined a spa with a coffee shop. Also unique is the fact they have books galore to read ... just grab one off the wall. And interesting ones, to boot. Plus candles and hand soaps to boot. I think I saw some board games too. I ordered a special coffee, might have been a blonde latte. It was very good! Not too sweet, and easy to drink. I also had a turkey sausage/egg/cheese bagel (everything). That was just ok ... it at least was made fresh there but the egg tasted either like boxed egg mix or some form of frozen egg that was heated up. Guess shell eggs are harder to come by these days. Not a fan. Overall, this place certainly appeals to all the senses. Great spot to check out if you're in the area.

Charming, local coffee shop at Glenwood Park. Things you should know: I. PARKING There's street parking with FREE 2 hour availability. If you can't find any street parking, there's a nearby Kroger (0.1 miles away) ~ you can park there and walk over. The walk is cute & worth it. II. SERVICE Accomodating and informative. The menu is detailed (which I really enjoy) and displays sugar free options. They even clarify if the alternative milks have sugar. III. QUALITY Superb ~ I ordered an Iced Americano. I haven't tried their pastries here, but the quantity is small and not overwhelming. They also have shelves stocked of locally sourced products, great for a little personal adventure to take home or gift. IV. CAPACITY For a Thursday at noon, the traffic flow in here was consistent. Business is well. There was a fair amount of seating available.

Iced mocha latte with a hint of raspberry!! Delicious

We eat out often and everyone in our party cleaned their plates. This is a great compliment. However, the bread pudding was too dry and could not be rescued by the scoop of ice cream on top. We had to make a decision quickly when we were pivoting, and when we came across the great reviews and photos of the food. we didn't think twice about checking to see if we could make it happen. When we arrived, the staff was already preparing our table, so we only had to wait a few minutes before being seated. The space is pretty tight, and you're going to be close to the tables near you, but we were able to sit comfortably. Our server came over quickly to take our drink orders, and afterward she came back to answer any questions. Most of the food was ready at the same time. We appreciated that it came out as it was ready and wasn't left sitting. And everyone enjoyed the food! The only "complaint" one of my friends had was that she thought there was a little too much sauce in her shrimp and grits dish. She felt that the sauce, while it tasted great, overpowered the dish and she would've liked to taste more of the grits flavor. All in all, I'd say we'll likely be back to try something else on the menu.

That said, the aesthetic feels less Buckingham Palace and more whimsical London antique shop -- charming & eclectic. I ordered the blueberry lavender matcha and a breakfast plate. The menu names were definitely on brand, but not quite catchy enough for me to remember them later. Both were solid, though, and hit the spot. Service was a highlight. The cashier really leaned into the accent and took the time to thoroughly explain the menu, which made the whole experience feel more immersive and welcoming. Parking was easy on an early weekday afternoon -- always a win. The space works well for small parties, but be prepared: tables are small and seating is close together. One tip: avoid sitting upstairs in Eden. It's noticeably warmer than the rest of the restaurant, and you'll likely leave smelling like breakfast. Overall, a fun, themed spot with great service. But I don't think I'll be back.

Typically I research and take a peek at the menu, photos, etc. but I didn't this time. Peters Street has ample street parking and a few lots for a fee. Just check the signs before you leave your car. The entry is unassuming because there's so many little places on this street but once you enter you're in another time! The medieval theme is super cool - a Barron greeted us at the door. Seating is casual - find a spot to sit and then order from the digital menu at the door. Orders are taken at the counter but entrees and drinks are brought to your table. The owner Josh was extremely accommodating! He gave us some tastings of coffee, tea and the French toast. 10/10! I personally ordered the Blueberry Matcha and a Bowl (done keto). Everyone's meal looked amazing and not a crumb was left. We left with some of the canned whiskey drinks - Strawberry Whiskey Sour and Kentucky Mule made with bourbon. Josh said best enjoyed mixed together! The photo opps, food, drinks and aesthetics are so good here. Only comment is that the tables are pub or cafe style and best for small groups or just takeover a section like we did. Enjoy!

One thing I really loved was the photo booth outside in the parking garage--it was such a fun touch and made the visit even more memorable. The only downside was the parking. Unless you're lucky enough to find street parking, you'll have to park in the garage, which wasn't my favorite. Other than that, everything was great. The bartender was incredibly kind and patient, especially since I'm very picky about drinks. She helped me choose one that I ended up loving. The atmosphere inside was also really nice, with a fun and welcoming vibe. I'd definitely come back!

SUPER unimpressed with my visit here…read more Based on the decor, especially the photo area in the parking deck and the fake flower arch outside, my first impression was that this was going to be a "TikTok trap": a restaurant focused more on aesthetics than food or service. Unfortunately, that impression ended up being accurate. It took forever for our food to come out. The parties around us were clearly frustrated as well. I watched one table become visibly irritated, while another guest stopped a server to ask if the food being carried out was theirs because they had apparently been waiting over an hour. As the wait dragged on, I started paying closer attention to the decor, which I personally found tacky and gimmicky, especially the fake greenery hanging across the ceiling. The fried green tomatoes and sweet heat wings were really good, and I started to rethink my initial assessment of the restaurant. Everything went downhill from there. My "Rich Boy" sandwich itself was good, but it came with completely unseasoned fries. When I mentioned that I was supposed to have the "Rolex" fries, the server told me the plain fries were what I got. After clarifying with another server, they brought out the actual "Rolex" fries, which appeared to just be fries with a little parmesan and parsley on top. Supposedly they were truffle fries, but there wasn't even a hint of truffle flavor. My partner ordered the veggie sausage, which was overcooked and dry. Their eggs came out over easy instead of over medium, and the "signature grits" were more like cream cheese with a little bit of grits mixed in. We were told more grits would be brought out, but they never came. Another person in my party ordered the Southern seafood pasta, which had literally one piece of spinach in it. When she asked about it, the server responded that there was "more spinach coming." At that point, it became clear that Barney's is selling the illusion of luxury in order to justify premium prices for subpar food and service. It really was a TikTok trap after all. To make matters worse, when the check came, we were charged an additional $1.50 for eggs that already came with the meal. The explanation was that the eggs "came from the shell." Others in my party were also charged extra for liquor on top of the listed menu price for their drinks. Overall, I absolutely did not enjoy my experience here, and I will not be returning. Oh, and that other party that was visibly irritated with the wait had to wait even longer because there was a hair in their food.
