Sakura made with whip cream trying to pass for cold foam!! TRASH!!!

When we entered there was a man asking for a refund because his food was taking too long, the worker (working alone & clearly overwhelmed) was very nice, but said he forgot and apologized, but he would get their food quickly. The wife was huffing and puffing and walked out w/her kid. I heard all the food being made with microwaves in the back!! (He ran back & Dings & doors could be heard)SO skeptical I ordered a Sakura latte and an organic cappuccino. I had this coffee from a truck at an art show once and thought it was good. Well, it was not good this time. I watched the worker pour my organic cappuccino out of a pitcher!! PREMADE!! Then he simply mixed ice/oat milk that was not organic milk, so how can it be organic.. & It tasted old, not fresh, the whole point of paying top dollar for artisan high priced coffee is the shots should be pulled fresh and ground right then!! just like at Starbucks, etc!! Small shops need to be ON their game to compete.. BUT the sakura was EVEN worse. I watched him use a spray can of whipped cream to make the cold foam!! which disintegrated instantly & TASTED TERRIBLE because guess what? that is not cold foam!! Even tho it's advertised as cold foam!! Both drinks went in the trash (could NOT stomach it) & I donated 15 dollars to this place that day.. HOWEVER, that will be my last donation!! The worker was nice but cannot excuse he was set up for failure with poor product!

I hadn't had Ethiopian food for maybe 8 years or so when I lived in NC, and I had been thinking about it, so I was excited when I saw a friend recommended this newish place in Ohio! It is about a half hour away, so it's not necessarily convenient, but it was well worth the drive! The coffee "caviar" was smooth and flawless. The food was good - my son and I had the steak which came with beets, salad greens, rice, and of course injera, which is my fave. It is a spongy, sourdough type of bread that is a different texture and flavor from typical bread. We got our food to-go, so the food was in separate "compartments", but usually everything is laid out on top of the injera and it soaked up the juices and gravies of all the food. Seriously, yummy. Food came out very fast. Cozy ambiance- I read my son a book about Ethiopia while we waited. Very friendly service. I believe Josh is the name of the guy working there and he is warm and welcoming.

Amazing restaurant with a great family atmosphere. The husband and wife that own this are the most delightful people and the food is a delicious cultural experience. We enjoyed the coffee as well!

I talked to the owner for a while and she told me how she has worked in a Mexican restaurant in the area for years and was always disappointed that they rarely carry any of these delicious fruit-based snacks that are so popular in Mexico. She was extremely friendly and charismatic and definitely has a passion for this new venture of hers. She offered samples of a few different items off her menu and we decided on an order of bionico. Bionico is a modern Mexican twist on a traditional fruit salad. It gained popularity in the 1990s in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco. Rosita's version contains fresh cut papaya, cantaloupe, honeydew, strawberries, apples and banana. She offered it with toppings of granola, coconut flakes and pecans. Then it is drizzled with a generous portion of a sweet crema. The bionico was so good! It was so much better and more refreshing than the best ice cream you can get in the area. Another person ordered a Piña Loca which is another refreshing fruit-based treat. She also offers some savory snacks such as the Chicharrones Preparados and Ceviche which would go great as a side with some tacos from Taqueria El Paso next door. Everything about this experience was fantastic. The food was fresh and amazingly delicious. The service and enthusiasm for the product was great. I definitely will visit again and suggest that you make some time to try it out as well!

It has been on my list for ages but it isn't close to my house and the wait is always long! But in March 2026, my bf and I braved the wait so I can finally check this place out! Overall, it is clear why Blue Door is always packed - the food, while overpriced, is delicious and made by a team of talented chef and bakers! I'll say this was a 4.5 star experience. We were quoted a wait for about 45 minutes but we were seated after 30. The case of baked goods were enticing me the entire time but I resisted! Our waiter, Steven, was funny, helpful, and had a great personality. The place, obviously, was packed, with little room in between tables. We saw quite a few patrons order the incredibly indulgent horchata French toast ($24) and I don't think I witnessed anyone finish it! To start, I got a coffee from local coffee roasters, Angel Falls, for $3.50 and my boyfriend treated himself to a fancy hot chai $6.50. It was pretty good local coffee! I wanted to try their famous croissants so I ordered the croque madame croissant sandwich with breakfast potatoes ($21). The croque madame was incredible! The breakfast potatoes could have benefited from an interesting seasoning. My boyfriend wanted everything on the menu but decided on getting the "special menu" loaded baked potato breakfast burger with salt+vinegar brined house chips (aka fries) for $24. The potato inside was a large potato latke. This heavenly creation kept him full for hours. In the end, our bill was pretty pricey for a brunch but we enjoyed every bite. I'm not sure if I will be able to come here again since we got lucky with our wait, but they keep changing their menu and something might entice me so much, I'll endure any wait!

The chicken and sauce part of the chicken and waffles were amazing the corn beef hash dish was great. The waffles lacked real flavor and tasted odd. The coffee was great. Service was awesome but slow (took us 40 minutes to get our food). The restaurant is really cute looking and the pastry's look amazing but we only had the croissant which was great. The food was pretty expensive. We spent 70 bucks as a party of two. They definitely had large portions which is nice for the price however after moving here from Columbus, we've just had better for less for brunch/breakfast so that's why I needed to knock off a star. Still a good place but now where that we'd go to regularly because of the wait times and the price not making it feasible.
