Cafe Columbia First time at this quaint venue that is a bit hidden in a complex of business offices but is just off of busy Little Patuxent Pkwy in the Columbia Town Center, parking is easy. The dining area serves breakfast and lunch, sweet and savory, drinks can be ordered or pulled from a refrigerator case. The crepes are made fresh as ordered and then the service was polite. Our meal was served soon afterwards to our table. The setting is clean, quiet and it was easy to carry on conversations. We had the Mediterranean Veggie crepe which was tasty but for the price it would have been nice to see a piece of fruit or vegetable to go with the main dish.

This little cafe amidst the business area in Columbia is actually a great breakfast spot. It appears to be geared toward the lunch crowd as it likely draws from the large daytime working population in the surrounding office/light business establishments. I was actually surprised it was open on the weekend because of this, but their excellent breakfasts probably attract the local residents as well. I read some reviews that suggested that this place was easy to find. I'd have to disagree on that count. It is located in an unlikely office building with signage around the side where their entrance is located. It was only because Maps insisted we were in the right place that we didn't give up looking. To be fair, there was also an event at the Daycare next door that caused a bit of confusion with pedestrian flow. The interior was modern looking and tidy but had a bit of an office look rather than a café vibe. That's not a negative, it's just unusual. It was not particularly busy the day we visited which allowed for an easygoing feel. The format was walk up and order, though they do bring your food to you. The counter person was pleasant, polite and efficient and the food was ready in a reasonable amount of time. Crepes are definitely their specialty and we stayed with that. My wife and I decided to share two crepes, one sweet and one savory. The sweet one was the Crepes Suzette which had an orange overtone and was very good. The savory crepe was a Mediterranean Veggie Crepe, which was also very good. The balsamic drizzle was a particularly tasty touch. Their coffee was pretty good as well. With food, drink, tax and tip, our bill came to $16 per person. I was happy enough with the value. I'd try this place again if the opportunity arose.

Crepes! Boy are they great especially when served in a beautiful, clean and and comfortable setting. My favorite is the Turkey crepe with the egg add on. Turkey, egg, avocado, spinach tomato and mozzarella. And it's fun to give an owner operated place my business.

Everything went well. Perfect 5 stars. We review often and this is a first! My family of 7 were all very happy! A vibrant cafe family friendly warm, welcoming and clean. The crepes were amazing: strawberry cheesecake, s'mores, green goddess, simple crepe, berry waffle , mixed berry crepe were all absolutely delicious. The service was friendly and efficient. Almond chai was delicious. We will be back often. Thank you!

Crepe: got the Mediterranean veggie crepe. Was very good, fresh, good mix of veggies and cheese, with a little balsamic glaze drizzle. Waffles: pretty tasty. It comes with butter and syrup. We got a few slices of banana and strawberry, and a few blueberries for $2. I was kind of hoping it would come with whipped cream but it didn't. I did think $10 for this waffle was a little high. Coffee: behind the counter, they have one of those machines where you press a button for an espresso drink and it makes it. I got a cappuccino which I thought was decent, but nothing I'd come back for. My mom got a black coffee which she thought was a little bitter. Service: order and sit down kind of place. I appreciate that the staff brought the food to us. Ambiance: pretty clean, but kind of basic feeling inside. In a strip of businesses that one would otherwise not explore if they didn't know this was here. I think it's probably My overall feeling is that this place was fine but in all honestly it's not one that I am super excited to come back to or bring a friend to. Their crepes are pretty good though, and that is the main thing I'd recommend if you come here. My mom said she'd give 4 stars, I'd give 3-3.5.

The food is amazing. Some of the best crepes I've ever had. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake crepe and it wasn't too sweet and the fresh strawberries really complimented the cheesecake spread. The portion is reasonably sized, so I was satisfied after finishing the meal. The customer service was delightful and after ordering, they brought it the table. I absolutely love the relaxed vibe too. The music is relaxing, there are a few plants all around and it would be a great space to read or quietly work with some light background noise. I would definitely recommend and am excited to return.

Their service was very friendly and helped us immediately. There was ample parking and it was pretty easy to find this restaurant. Inside, it was painted and decorated cutely. It was not too busy at all and the food came out very quickly. As for the taste, the Nutella strawberry crepe was super yummy! It was warm and had strawberry, Nutella, and banana inside and was topped with chocolate syrup and powdered sugar. I really enjoyed my crepe and would definitely come back! It was also very filling and super fairly priced.

I personally don't like it when restaurants will serve their own take on chicken & waffles and it ends up missing the essence of the dish. That essence of what I look for in the dish is the foundation of the food at T&J Waffles. The chicken is crispy and juicy with great sauce options to go with the meal. The waffles are light, airy, and sweet (but not overly sweet). I tend to frequent T&J Waffles whenever they come as the food truck, so YMMV if you eat at the brick & mortar location. That being said, I don't feel like there's an inherent loss of quality by eating at the food truck. My recommendation is to eat the food as soon as possible. Chicken and waffles to me has a very short shelf-life where the crispiness fades away shortly after. I think the best way to enjoy is to dig pretty much right away. Definitely check out the spot if you enjoy chicken and waffles! Side note: they have other options too that look delicious, but I can't not order the chicken & waffles when I go.

I opened up my Yelp app to see if I had bookmarked anything nearby and T&J's Waffles was the first spot that popped up. I didn't know it was walk up location. I was all prepared to sit at a table and have breakfast, but I was already there and I wasn't leaving without food. My dad and I both ordered the classic breakfast platter. It came with two waffles, probably three eggs (we added cheese so that was extra), 4 slices of bacon, and 2 sausage links, and hash brown. The waffles were such a cute shape and they were delicious. I can't confirm this, but I imagine it's their own special batter. They were very generous with the scrambled eggs and I didn't even have to add salt & pepper. I like that there were two meat options. I just wish my bacon wasn't all stuck together to form one piece. Also, the bacon could've been cooked a little more. It was a little fatty and I like a little more crisp. The star of the show was the hash brown. It definitely seemed like it was homemade. This may have been my first time having a homemade hash brown. I'm not sure what they did to it, but here's my guess. It looks shredded potatoes, mixed with green onion, and maybe some cheese, that was packed like a patty & shallow fried. My goodness, I should've ordered some hashbrowns to go so I could eat them for the rest of the week. The platter was so good, I didn't even mind having to eat it in my car. Lol. It was filling & $16 well spent.

It's a smallish space and indoor seating was really full at 11 AM on a weekday. Because of rain, the outdoor benches were not in use, and I saw closed-up patio-umbrellas too. I ordered from a kiosk or you could order online or in person. I got the bacon egg and cheese croissant and it was made quickly by welcoming staff. I didn't care for the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. It was kind of dry and it tasted like something was missing. The croffle was amazing.
