    Avocado toast, and pour over

Excellent pour over Ethiopian Guji properly served. Got the avocado toast on multigrain with a nice balsamic also very good. Could use a little bit more cheese. 20 bucks total. The inside vibe is OK some stone some wood in a rock 'n' roll Hall of Fame decor.

I love working outside of the house sometimes and came across this cafe via TikTok. It was pretty packed but seating wasn't the worst. I will say, if you're going alone it may be a little more difficult to find seating but since it was two of us, we found seating and then ordered. Signage does say to order food before sitting, but if you plan to stay, I would do the opposite. The wait wasn't long for food and you get the Wifi code by ordering, as the password is on the bottom of the receipt. Certain seating doesn't allow laptops, so pay attention to that. The chipotle chicken wrap was SO good and I loved the Island Green smoothie. Pricing was on the typical side for a cafe, not too expensive but not the cheapest either. I would go again to see if it's always busy, plus to get that wrap again. We went on a Tuesday around 12PM.

Cute little coffee shop with tons of options and very friendly staff. There are cold and hot beverages to pick from, as well as smoothies and bakery options. They also sell beans to take home. Ordered an Americano and sweet cream cold brew. Both were good. This place has lots of work options if need a nice spot to perch for working or studying. Prices are a little high, but supporting a local business. Again, super friendly people that work there.

Not a bad spot if you want to study or hang out with friends. The ambience here is very cozy, with a theme of old 80s and 70s music. Tables near the entrance are for conversing and do not allow laptops. The study/laptop tables are further in the back. There is a variety of pastries and lunch items you can order, as well as coffee and other sweet drinks. Unfortunately nothing I had was really anything to write home about. The Pistachio latte I got was too creamy, thick, and sweet...not to my liking at all. I got a wrap from them in the past and it was pretty bland too. Honestly giving it 3 stars because of the ambience and decent service. Beyond that, I wouldn't order any food or drinks here.

We had to make a pit stop in Ellicott City and I was craving for some coffee. This place popped up in my search and I saw this place on IG a couple of times on my feed. We arrived around late morning. Very packed! Customer service was on par despite it being so busy! I just ordered the honey strawberry waffle and a drip coffee. Really good! I love the vibe of this cafe! Felt very homey and a great place to chat with a friend. I really recommend this spot!

    Matcha Latte

Came at 11:45 on a Wednesday and it was packed! Very limited seating available at shared tables. Signs posted around saying to order before sitting and 90 minute limit. Felt very overwhelming walking in. Nice decorations but very loud, talking and the music playing over the speakers, not the place if you're looking for quiet time. I could barely hear what I was being asked when ordering. I ordered a matcha latte (12 oz for $5.69, which is pretty average for the area) and a Bacon, Egg and Cheese. I got up charged $1 for an english muffin even though it is not posted anywhere that it is extra. $8 for a bacon egg and cheese is pretty crazy. It was also pretty small, a frozen starbucks sandwich would probably be better. I would say the matcha was worth it but I would skip the sandwich. They also increase $5-6 after breakfast.

    Grilled Cheese

I was disappointed by the value. I paid $7 for a grilled cheese sandwich with no sides, and it felt overpriced for what was served. The sandwich was okay, but for that price I expected at least chips, fruit, or a small side. The atmosphere was nice, but the portion and value just didn't match the cost. I hope they reconsider their pricing or include a side to make it feel more worthwhile.

Love the ambiance here. Think coffee shop meets old record store. Great place to work at on remote days. Definitely enjoyed the pistachio latte. The breakfasts were simple and arranged to be visually appealing. Service was great, we were greeted upon arrival, when food was served asked if we needed anything else and provided suggestions for the baked treats workers regularly enjoyed if we wanted to consider giving those a try.

The dessert oat waffle was very tasty. I especially loved the whipped cream cheese and fresh fruit that topped the warm waffle. The inside of the cafe was very nicely decorated. I also liked how certain tables were marked as work/laptop areas.

A great spot for breakfast or a quick lunch! Visited Cafe June today for lunch and got the White Chocolate Frappe & California Caprese Sandwich. The frappe was so refreshing and sweet, just the way I wanted. The sandwich was super fresh, loved it. My husband had the pistachio latte and avocado toast; he loved both. We also shared a strawberry cake which was a nice finish to our meal.

I love this cafe! I ordered the einspanner and an oat quinoa waffle. They both are nothing like any other coffee shop I've ever been to. So delicious and unique. I also brought my Maryland cafe passport with me to the restaurant and the workers were so intrigued and excited I was there taking notes and journaling about the coffee. Such a fun laid back environment, perfect for work, a quick lunch, or catching up with friends. I will keep coming back. This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Ellicott city.

Past reviews were helpful. The cafe is cute and cozy, with acceptable time limits. The food is tasty with healthy choices available. The music is diverse with a volume that encourages conversation. The staff is attentive and personable. Who wouldn't want to stay for hours? I set a timer, worked while eating and left, satisfied.

This is my favorite cozy and cute local cafe with plenty of seating and lots of free parking! Whenever I go here to study or do work, I'm able to get so much done because of the quiet and productive atmosphere. The coffees, teas, food, and pastries here are a delicious study break treat too! My go-to order is an iced latte with a croffle, my order comes out perfect every time. I, also, love how the baristas at Cafe June always greet you as you enter and help you out with what to order! They are so kind and take their time to write thoughtful messages on everyone's cups. It makes my day to read them! Cafe June is a solid 5/5 local cafe that I will always go to.

This cafe is underrated. Their signature espresso cream latte is so good. The vibe here reminds me of cafes in Korea.

I wanted a smoothie, found this location on Google, and decided to give it a try after hearing friends rave about the chain. Unfortunately, I regret stopping here. I ordered online and when I walked in, I initially didn't see any employees. Then I noticed a woman dressed entirely in what appeared to be street clothes: pink beanie, shirt, sweatpants, and Crocs. At first, I honestly thought she was a friend or family member helping out in the store because there was no uniform or name tag. Then I realized she was actually making my drink. Not once did she greet me, acknowledge me, ask if I needed help, or even make eye contact. I stood in the pickup area waiting while she slammed blender containers around and appeared visibly irritated. She poured my smoothie, put the lid on, slapped the sticker on the cup, and dropped it on the counter without saying a single word. I reached for the drink and said, "Thank you," and received absolutely no response, just a look. The customer service was terrible, and unfortunately, the smoothie itself was not good either. First impressions matter, especially early in the morning when customers are tired and simply hoping for a pleasant experience. Please train employees on basic customer service skills. A simple greeting, acknowledgment, or "have a nice day" goes a long way. And if employees are unhappy or not prepared to work professionally, they should not be interacting with customers.

**Disappointing Experience at This Location**…read more I normally enjoy Toastique, although I've noticed this particular location isn't nearly as friendly or welcoming as other Toastique locations I've visited. Recently, I ordered my usual Salmon Toast and was disappointed to discover that the cucumbers were clearly not fresh. When I lifted the salmon and greens to cut into the toast, the cucumber slices were almost transparent and looked anything but fresh. I brought it back and explained that I was happy to have it remade, but if they didn't have fresh cucumbers, I would prefer a refund. They ultimately remade the toast without cucumbers. Before leaving, I checked my bag and noticed there were NO cucumbers. When I asked why there were no cucumbers, there really wasn't an explanation. Apparently, someone eventually found some fresh, crispy cucumber slices and put them in a small to-go container for me to add to my **$16 single slice of toast myself.** That just felt like an odd way to resolve the issue. Another frustration is that this location never asks or reminds me about the Toastique rewards program. I visit fairly often because this location is in my neighborhood, yet I didn't even know they had a rewards program until I visited another Toastique location and was asked about it. Had I known, I could have accumulated quite a few rewards by now. I still enjoy Toastique, but this location could definitely improve when it comes to friendliness, attention to detail, and making customers aware of the rewards program.
