Loved the spot & the coffee, only downside is the parking tho. The workers are super nice & they play really good music.

It's located in a…read morestrip mall but the inside is adorable with a homey/living room vibe, fun decor, and local art on display. They had a large main dining room with coffee bar to sit at as well as some back spaces to host events. They recently got new owners who are going to revamp the menu and offer more events to the community. Their menu was smaller but intriguing. They had great signature drink flavors that could be applied to different coffee style drinks. I got the Lavender Shortbread flavor as an iced latte and loved it! My husband got the Chai Latte which he wasn't quite fond of but they asked if he wanted cinnamon on top which was nice. Overall, coffee is their specialty and there's a reason why. I'm sure they have other tea drinks that may have been more favorable as well. I wouldn't mind coming back to enjoy a cup inside rather than to-go.

Pekoe & Bean is a longtime local favorite for breakfast and lunch too. A pretty simple menu great for groups. The prices are kind of high on a few items but it's great quality. Basic items are on the menu that are familiar. It's of course got coffee and tea. They have quite a variety. A lot of the classic favorites. Some unique specialties. It's about $6 to get a latte. They have a few of these. I got the Bananas Foster Latte. This is made with banana syrup. Also they have non dairy milks. The food menu includes salads and sandwiches. It's about $7 for a bowl of chili. This is vegan. Has quite a bit spiciness to it. This is a great one to warm up with. Also they have carrot soup which is great. They also have lots of pastries. Get great stuff at breakfast or lunch and enjoy it. It's open at breakfast and lunch. This is located on Oak Park Avenue at 171st Street.

Going into 2026 very soon and it's sad how some people show their prejudice. This morning I went…read moreinside the Dunkin' because I wanted to use my points for one free coffee and one of my favorite ice coffee. When I walked in, there was a guy and his son first leaving out and the cashier was nice to them, however when I walked in the store, I've felt her mean look. I was polite and placed my order and explained to her I wanted to redeem my points for the coffee. She had an attitude like I was making her job harder, but rung me up. She wasn't welcoming. People like her a person cant trust especially if they are making your drinks and food. I had to really watch her when she was making my drinks. When she gave me my drinks, I've smiled at her and thanked her, she wasn't welcoming, cold and stared at me like I was nothing. As a woman who once was a cashier at a couple of restaurants during my college years , I was raised to treat people how I wanted to be treated. Of course we all people that are different races and cultures from all over. She wasn't welcoming to the gentlemen whom came in behind me and he too is an African American. I offer this advice, if you don't want to work for and in the public, find another job that is fitting. To the manager and even the owner of this store. I suggest that the staff need be more trained with customer service and even go over the code of ethics and conduct. You lost me as a customer and I will not return back to this location and plan to contact corporate Human Resources. Also, to the cashier whom had the nasty disposition this morning around the 8:30 AM to 9 am, fix the attitude. I also suggest that she may need to go to a waxing and threading salon, her mustache didn't help with my experience either. Season Greetings. I will continue to run on Dunkin, but not this one!
