Going into 2026 very soon and it's sad how some people show their prejudice. This morning I went inside the Dunkin' because I wanted to use my points for one free coffee and one of my favorite ice coffee. When I walked in, there was a guy and his son first leaving out and the cashier was nice to them, however when I walked in the store, I've felt her mean look. I was polite and placed my order and explained to her I wanted to redeem my points for the coffee. She had an attitude like I was making her job harder, but rung me up. She wasn't welcoming. People like her a person cant trust especially if they are making your drinks and food. I had to really watch her when she was making my drinks. When she gave me my drinks, I've smiled at her and thanked her, she wasn't welcoming, cold and stared at me like I was nothing. As a woman who once was a cashier at a couple of restaurants during my college years , I was raised to treat people how I wanted to be treated. Of course we all people that are different races and cultures from all over. She wasn't welcoming to the gentlemen whom came in behind me and he too is an African American. I offer this advice, if you don't want to work for and in the public, find another job that is fitting. To the manager and even the owner of this store. I suggest that the staff need be more trained with customer service and even go over the code of ethics and conduct. You lost me as a customer and I will not return back to this location and plan to contact corporate Human Resources. Also, to the cashier whom had the nasty disposition this morning around the 8:30 AM to 9 am, fix the attitude. I also suggest that she may need to go to a waxing and threading salon, her mustache didn't help with my experience either. Season Greetings. This Dunkin is a hit or miss especially at night. They don't make the food correct and have the nerves to have an attitude when you bring it back. I don't understand the bad reviews for the Oak Forest Dunkin Donuts. I do a lot of app ordering, picking up at the drive thru, and this location is one of my favorites. They are quick and always pleasantly nice! Tonight I went inside to pick up our annual Jesus birthday cake. They were helpful and it didn't take long to get the writing on it either. Well I don't know what to say because all I got was a coffee but they didn't screw it up . I walked in here and the place was very clean. The music was playing just quietly enough to still be able to hear it . The woman came to the counter quickly and said "can I help you" , I would have preferred a "Good morning, can I help you" but it's fine . I ordered my coffee black (sometimes I get cream and sugar but I felt especially fat today and figured I would cut down on calories) and the coffee was made very fast . No waiting and no hassle . I honestly hate to give out one star reviews. Like...I really don't like it. At all. But no matter what you order from this Dublin Donuts, I can almost guarantee that your order will be handed to you with at least 50% of it...entirely and utterly incorrect. In the fairness of full disclosure, my experiences are limited to the drive thru exclusively. But come ON, you guys. If I order munchkins and ask for half chocolate/half powdered sugar (preschoolers, man), it doesn't mean three chocolate, one stale ass powered sugar, and the rest plain/jelly-filled. Ditto goes for coffee. My husband will order a coffee with light cream and sugar and it will look like milk with a splash of coffee and the sweet scent of way too much sugar will waft throughout the car, lingering on for days after the fact. I don't get it. Most of the time, the order is confirmed at the window (so I can hardly blame the drive thru employees) but once it's in the car? It's a freaking free for all. Due to an employee shortage the dining room is sometimes closed BUT the drive-thru is open and the employees that are there are so hardworking. Well I don't know why but I keep giving this place a chance and they just flat out SUCK!!! Their coffee sucks their bagels suck, the fact that they don't have sugar donuts just sucks. I wish I could review DD and baskin Robbins separately because my experiences with DD are great! The morning and afternoon crew make my day and service is always amazing. So I split my stars... 5 for DD and 1 for baskin Robbins at night. Every time I get ice cream there they are out of what I want. Snickers sundae? Out of snickers. Cookies n cream? Out? I visit this location every single morning before work, and sometimes even on my break before I go into my second shift. I order the same exact thing every time. At this point, I feel like they are purposefully messing up my order. I don't order anything crazy either, I actually order a very simple drink. Sometimes when I ask if almond milk is in my drink, they lie and say it is when it is not. They are extremely rude when I ask them to correct it and on occasion it still isn't right after. I will be going elsewhere. I do not recommend visiting this location by any means. Go to another location if you have the time. This establishment is absolutely incompetent. My grandma told me she was a craving a bagel so I decided to go to the nearest Dunkin' to get her one. I asked for a toasted blueberry bagel with cream cheese on it. When I received the bagel, I noticed it was slightly warm but not warm enough. I didn't think much of it though. horrible, I ordered two expressos. the second one did not have a closed lid, and when he handed it to me the lid came off and coffee spilled into my car. He acted like I had knocked the lid off because it had grazed the top of my car window. So instead of offering free coffee or acknowledging that it was his mistake, he offered me free napkins to cleanup the mess. It's a pleasure to get coffee in the morning but around 3 PM to the closing the couple or two workers that are there in them hours make this store a poorly ran business with no customer service what so ever. The wait for a order to be took at these hours takes about 10 to 15 minutes just to have them aknowledge that your there and want to make an order. It came to point where I almost just stopped coming to this dunkin completely. One time the older indian gentlemen and 5he lady who work night left me waiting to have order taken for 15 minutes than when they acknowledged I wanted my order taken. Here's the damn kicker dude was taking out the garbage looked at me and continued to do his thing while I waited instead of calling the lady behind the counter to take my order. Zero stars. This was the second time I was at the store and it was horrible! I just wanted to order an iced coffee. I timed it and it took 20 minutes standing in the store! Yes, 20 minutes! It looked like there were only two people working there and the priority was the drive-through. They didn't apologize, looked cold and indifferent when I made a comment about the long wait. The lady in front of me had a big wad of plastic in her frozen beverage. The two people that work there were extremely unfriendly. When I mention length of time they did absolutely nothing. I will never ever go back to this location again! They were completely indifferent and did not care. They seriously need to hire more people and get their act together! Absolutely most dirty place even though this place went through remodel. They used to be under great management and ownership who ran store with pride and good employees. Whoever the new owner is runs the place like hell and absolutely ran the store to the ground. They got shut down for cockroaches which is disgusting to have in a food restaurant. They did not want to admit so they put up sign stating they were having a electrical problem. I would make sure no one goes here especially knowing cockroaches came from sandwich station which Indian manager stated to everyone in lobby today. i had the worst experience with them this morning, they hired this girl a few weeks ago and they put her in the drive thru the busiest section they have, last time she had a very bad attitude she dropped my money on the floor and expected to take it out of my 20 dollar bill, and told me that i was to far, today she did it again I gave her a 10 dollar bill and 25cents she drop the change and took the 10 dollars and right away gave me an attitude and proceeded to tell me that i was to far and reallty go upset with her this time around and use the f word, because of her nasty attitude. Pull up to the drive-through what window, older lady told me my total, I apologize that my Dunkin' Donuts app is taking a minute to load up, she immediately starts Tapping her nails on the counter waiting impatiently as my app is trying to load. After about 20 seconds of that, and the app not loading, I just paid cash because I was clearly aggravating her by asking her to wait. She gave me my change and did not say another word to me. I've never been this guy but this place is so terrible that I actually downloaded this app just so I can leave this review. Worst. Dunkin. Donuts. Ever! If I could post this with no stars, I would, because even one is giving them too much credit. The only reason that I have been here more than a couple of times is because it is a minute and a half from my house. I don't think they've ever gotten an order correct regardless of its simplicity and I have given them every opportunity to redeem themselves. I had 2, count em, 2 people take my drive through order (one of which was the manager) of a small (which they insisted I get a medium because it was $1.50 less, makes lots of sense) iced caramel coffee, cream, no sugar. They both repeated it back to me twice each. Let's count the ingredients shall we, 1. Ice. 2. Caramel. 3. Coffee. 4. Cream.....wanna guess which key one they left out? Ding ding ding! The CARAMEL! Effectively making light brown water not even worth what little caffeine is in it. I get it's minimum wage, I've worked those jobs, I know it sucks, but for the love of everything sacred to whatever God you pray to, take some pride in yourself, learn how to do your job and stop wasting people's time.
