Two hot coffees.. a white mocha and a caramel latte .. get them and pull away because other people in the drive line.. and they were barely warm ! I give this place a strong 3 star only for their drinks. They have awesome plant based drinks, it's not lotus anymore as they show on their board, it's something else that they use but it's still plant based. I asked the gal working to show me first to confirm and she did which I appreciated. I'm sure she thought I was weird for it but you can never be too sure. I will have to say though, their food there is absolute garbage. I've gotten donuts and sandwiches from there and I have no idea how they're sold. I have never had a complaint about this company until now. I have been a loyal customer to Cafe Elite now since it opened here in Yelm. A new manager Chrystal comes in and turns everything upside down. My drink is now 1.10 more than it was. Today Chrystal says I'm sorry. Well Cafe Elite your now the most expensive in town. Your manager is shit, prices is the highest in town. You have just lost a loyal customer of several years. read more

I have NEVER, and I do mean that seriously, had consistently bad service like that I have gotten at this place. Today was really the last straw, and I am never giving them my business again! They have FAILED, every single time, to listen carefully and/or remember, a rather simple order (I always get a 20 oz iced mocha, no whip) and today the barista never acknowledged my daughter (who was driving) telling her my order. So when my daughter repeated it, she snapped, "Yeh, I got it" and of course it was WRONG. My daughter, who is pregnant, specified half-caff, but within a short time of drinking hers, began to have jangled nerves. Yep, the kind that comes from full caffeine. As someone mentioned in another review, the baristas seem to always talk about their personal issues - with each other or the customer at the other window - loudly. I have not once had a barista in the place be friendly, or even professionally cordial - they always act like they're doing me a huge favor to take my order. The last time I came here, the barista actually argued with me that I had asked for a blended mocha. I politely told her, I am sure I asked for iced mocha because I can't drink blended frozen drinks. She then proceeded to LECTURE me about saying my order correctly! Not in a friendly way, in a demeaning and rude way. I said I would never go back, and I should have stuck to it. Long lines...slow/bad service...higher prices than others...wrong order, every time... YUK. I will drive the extra distance for my church's drive-through, and when it's not open I'll go to Verneez. I would even go to Starbuck's before I will ever give this place another penny. read more

Will ALWAYS be my favorite coffee place. Their iced caramel macchiatos are my favorite. Anytime I ever try to order one from any other coffee place, it tastes so inferior! I don't even try anymore. Also, I'm not sure if they do it every season but they had a special "turtlenut mocha" drink during the fall season one year and it was a magical experience! Lol they'll still make it if you ask for it. I highly recommend! I've only tried it hot, though. The baristas are awesome. Very friendly and always make the drinks exactly the way you ask. I LOVE Cafe Elite in Yelm and Spanaway. These girls are seriously the BEST. The baristas take the time to get to know you and make a personal connection while keeping the pace of a faster pace coffee stand. Janae is one of my favorite baristas at the Yelm stand and Tabby and D'Aurria (omg spelling) are my favorite at Spanaway. These three girls are some of the best people you could have working for you! read more

We've never had any issues with them messing up our order here, always have gotten what we ordered and always been great. Personally dont get what Marky is gripping about, I guess shes a normal customer at Starbucks as all drive though latte places like this, Big Foot or whatever is just drive through's. I love cafe elite! They treat me like fam and are always eager to serve me. I've been going to elite for about 8 years now. Currently my favorite baristas are Janae, Sabrina,Taylor and Jen. These ladies make awesome coffee!! Always pull fresh shots for me, even if there is a line of cars. Janae and Sabrina always make me smile and laugh and turn my day around with there delicious coffee and beautiful smiles! I would give a solid 5 stars if not for the "just okay" service. I recently moved to Yelm from Roy and this place is close so I have stopped in a few times. Outstanding coffee! I lived in Roy for 10 years and never tried this place before. I loooooove their mochas - both iced and hot. The service isn't necessarily bad but I have yet to see a smile from any of the baristas.... :/ so it isn't good either. We stopped here after a movie to get a small coffee for the drive home. We were glad they were open late, but the prices had us wishing we would've just stopped in a store and gotten a bottled coffee. They charge a .50 fee for using a debit card, and a 12oz mocha was $4 before a tip. I would've rather spent the $3 on a coffee from a grocery store. read more

Coffee is okay but what really bothers me is that twice I have been here recently and heard whoever is helping me, talking SO loudly about how they do not know how to make whatever I just ordered!!! I like the Rockstar mimosa a lot. I am giving 3 stars because the ladies that work there aren't the nicest. They are constantly talking about their personal issues to each other loudly and sometimes they ignore me long enough to send a text message. I think it's so rude to sit there on your phone then ask me what I'm having and go back to texting before making my drink. Surely they can get the customers taken care of before they pick up their phone. Stomping grounds is so so polite but unfortunately they only have redbull so I choose to go to cafe elite. read more

Hands down the best coffee served in Yelm. I love that they have plenty of sugar free options. Also, they offer a loyalty card to earn free beverages. The ladies who work there are always friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this drive thru over all the others. A+ read more

Their coffee is great and the barista's have all worked there for several years. The downside is the awkward drive thru and that their prices are high and on top of that they charge you a processing fee for using debit/credit. This is a cost that's put on the customer. read more

The baristas talk about their personal issues very loudly ad I now know that two of the girls hate a female customer because she is dating one of the barista's ex-boyfriends. I'm going back to Starbucks! Even though I like the Mochas at Cafe Elite going there with the 2 regular ladies that work mornings puts me in a crappy mood when I leave! They are unfriendly rude and just not welcoming at all! And no I do not tip them! There is a staff named Jennifer who is very welcoming and makes me want to go there but I don't see her very often. We have tried this coffee stand three times now before our kids Football game and the customer service is lacking. Three or more employees working but more interested in their own personal conversation than customer service. Had to get out of our truck to return the clipboard for payment as well as the drink not being mixed or made as ordered. read more

First time customer and I will never go back. Was Sunday around noon when my sister and I stopped. Two females working. One comes to the window and says what are you having? I ordered and espresso milkshake with carmel flavoring. She said is that it? Very abrupt about it. I said no I would like a strawberry lemonade. She never asked size and walked away from window. No offer of a punch card. Not even a smile from her. Other female working never acknowledged we were at window yet my server was chatty with people at other window. Lemonade was very sweet because it comes from concentrate. It's summer time why wouldn't you use fresh fruit in your drinks? Nope strawberry was concentrate also. This was fhe first time ive came here. The coffee is half decent although the staff should take lessons on customer service. I had the coldest "hi what can I do for you" as her demeanor is screaming " i dont recognize you, tip well or don't waste my time." After I answered what I wanted to drink that was the end of the conversation all the way until she gave me the receipt. She even had the audacity to go to the opposite side of the stand and look out the window as she was making my drink. This review deserves 2 stars because I cannot account for the other workers and the coffee wasnt half bad, but this first encounter with cafe elite is ridiculous. No tip for you. read more
