    Treats!

Such a great find in a small town!! My mom and I love checking out different areas and browsing shops on cute main streets (especially antiques). We both got breakfast sandwiches, which were delicious! The herb Mayo was a great little flavor note that made this sandwich stand out a bit. The egg was a touch runny, just perfect! I got hot tea and mom got hot apple cider. I liked that the drinks and food were prepared to order and both staff members were friendly and working hard and efficiently. We tried a berry financier, which was tasty and buttery. Not sure why we didn't splurge and get a donut but now we have a reason to go back!! Definitely recommend visiting this area and stopping in for breakfast or a pastry and coffee/tea!!

A charming space on Main St in Margaretville. My littles and I enjoyed some delicious treats and drinks at the outdoor table. Service was fast, and everyone working there and eating there was lovely!

Stopped here for a late breakfast and were impressed with the food. Fresh tasty menu items. They have breakfast sandwiches but don't serve them after 11, we missed that opportunity but there were still some good options. The bakery items were excellent and the hot drinks were above average. My wife had a chai latte not pictured that was spicy and tasty. The guys serving food and cooking were kind and there were lots of locals, the vibe of the place was cool. Wish the service was little more welcoming. It was totally worth the stop. Cute little downtown with some fun shops too

I have come to this cafe a few times now and every time I go I am blown away by the fresh, delicious, great selection of food. From bakery goods, breakfast and lunch, you will not be disappointed. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I can't wait till the warmer months arrive to eat out in the patio. Even during the winter months you can still find room inside the cozy cafe to sit and eat in this little picturesque town.

    Delicious avocado toast and espresso!

Really nice little place in the cool little time of Margaretteville. Good espresso and nice avocado toast!

This cute little cafe has amazing food and great service. We tried the everything croissant sandwich, banger sausage with pretzel roll and a cream filled donut - all were so delicious! They also sell local food condiments and chocolates and had an extensive coffee/drink list. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for breakfast or lunch or an edible gift to bring back to friends and family. As a local I'm happy to have another good restaurant nearby!!! Thank you!

I did not expect to find Croissants from France in this little town. They are excellent. Do not miss this place if you are in the area.

My one piece of feedback, I wish the evening menu had at least one small simple dish for those of us with kids! I don't expect a kids' menu with chicken tenders or mac and cheese, just something unfussy.

We had gone to Andes, NY for a yoga retreat and hadn't tried this place yet, so we made a point of stopping on our way out of the Andes and that was the best decision. Their cafe has indoor and outdoor seating. Very relaxed atmosphere and the feeling when walking in is clean and refreshing energy. Very simple set up which makes new places less overwhelming and you can focus on the purpose for visiting which is coffee and wine. We got mocha lattes as the one worker suggested that's a perfect drink to sip on while on your travels home. It wasn't too sweet, clean tasting and absolutely delicious. All of the staff and the husband and wife (owners) were delightful to chat with while waiting. Recommendations were on point as we got a bag of beans to go and I just made them this morning- let's just say CHEFS KISS If ever in the area, near the area, far from the area...you will not be disappointed in visiting. I think it's the best coffee shop in the town (and yes there was another)

I've heard this little village has had among the most intense glow-ups of the post covid boom in the region and it sure shows. What was once a typically sleepy and stagnant, though still undeniably charming downtown common to the area when I last came through some 20-plus years ago now has all the hallmarks of an upscale, bespoke Brooklyn-north outpost, and this place is a perfect representation, though thankfully one that accentuates a positive example of such development that can serve and be appreciated by both the recent transplants as well as the longtime locals. This is thanks most crucially to the prices remaining happily reasonable and accessible to median income in the area, as opposed to raising prices to typical Brooklyn levels (like at the previously panned Phoenicia Diner). This is likely due to the fact that this place actually was established in the last decade, when, while the Brooklynification of the Catskills was certainly well under way, it had not yet been turbocharged to its insane post Covid levels. Food quality however was uniformly excellent, to the point that it would be a beloved neighborhood asset most any of us would love to have in our own hood. Everything I sampled on my lunch there, selected with the help of the thoughtful suggestions of my excellent server, tasted exceedingly fresh and clean, no doubt owing to the bounty of wonderful local ingredients from which the kitchen procures from. Each dish displayed some delightfully retro 90s era influences from the thick and creamy corn chowder, tasting brilliantly of peak late summer corn, to a bright and briny orzo salad, and the star of the meal, the unctuous, savory, perfectly seasoned umami bomb of a meatloaf pressed panini with the squishy pillowy meatloaf melding topped with gooey smokey provolone contrasted brilliantly with the crusty craggily pressed bread. It was a contender for best thing I had upstate and rivals any burger I had in 2025. Was a deeply satisfying lunch that left be deliciously satiated for my drive out of town through the glorious rolling Catskill Hills dreaming of a future opportunity for another visit.

It wasn't too busy when we arrived in middle of the afternoon, and we were warmly greeted. You place your order at the counter and then seat yourself. Water and cups are out too. I went with the Pad Thai ($27 with chicken) and also got to try some of the fried chicken ($17), a special. Prices seemed a little high but the dishes were delicious, with portions being reasonable and the Pad Thai not being overwhelmingly sweet. The fried chicken was magically crunchy outside and moist inside, with an irresistible dipping sauce not too cilantro-y. Coffees were delicious and strong and the breakfast burrito was truly the best breakfast burrito I think I've ever had. The space is so cute. I read on their website while planning the weekend that they are open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and have live music on the weekends. It looks like they do it all. We stopped in early and had our choice of tables. The space is big, clean and perfectly calm. Great spot for a slow breakfast. After ordering at the counter, they brought everything over to our table. I got the oatmeal bowl. Delicious and simple. However, I couldn't help but steal many many bites of the breakfast burrito. Seriously, get it! A great spot with good food, a friendly team and a cozy vibe.
