Such a cute new coffee shop! Plenty of space and seating. It was packed for their grand opening today but they were cranking out orders - I got through the line of ~ 8 people in front of me and had my drink within ten mins. They have a small display of pastries as well (will have to try next time!). I tried their Sakura Latte today - super pretty and tastes great. Pro tip: check the website for detailed descriptions of the menu items and their ingredients. Excited for this new addition to the South Front District!

This place is amazing. Not only is it extremely cozy but the iced Salted Vietnamese coffee was to die for. My friend got the iced Ube coffee and she's obsessed with it! They also offer yoga classes in here in their yoga studio and they have a pottery workshop as well!

I ordered the old fashioned smash burger and it was so delicious! The smash patties were cooked to perfection with crispy edges, gooey cheese and fresh toppings & onion straws. The tots were hot and crispy which was a nice touch to round out a great meal. Order at the counter, grab or fix your drink, then wait for your order to be called. I dined in and seating is pretty adequate and the vibes are great for convos- the noise level isn't loud at all. I can't wait to try a milkshake the next time I'm in town as well as some of the other menu items. I'll definitely be back and will bring my hubby and friends for them to try as well!

We had heard a lot about Mess Hall but have never had the chance to visit. We could have walked from where we were staying but we had a couple of others joining us so we drove. The location is very much in a neighborhood. Kinda to cool to include such a fun place to have breakfast. Upon entry we immediately saw the casual setup...plenty of tables, a concrete floor, Specials Board, music playing, a bar and a low-key set up overall. I should have taken more pictures of the interior but it was kind of busy and I didnt want to spook people out taking pictures while they were eating. We had a group of 9. Not everyone was going to eat. Most were drinking either coffee or water. I ordered a single burger with tater tots. My daughter ordered a breakfast burrito and my wife ordered a vegan breakfast burrito. We set up a few tables in the back after ordering and waited for our food. They must have been playing Sirius radio "Petty channel" because most of the songs were Tom Petty's top hits....which we all enjoyed! The food came in a reasonable time and all of us raived about our selections. I had burger that reminded me a burger that I use to get when I was a kid at the Boy's Club...small with a fresh bun and delicious! The tater tots were just kind of a throw in for me but boy, they were delicious! Both burrito's were met with rave reviews as well...fresh and tasty! As we were getting ready to move on, we noticed how fast the place filled up. The room that was relatively quiet when we arrived was all of a sudden crowded with almost all the tables taken! Vibe- Fantastic....which I lived closer Parking- easy, plenty of spots Price- fair & reasonable Staff- friendly & helpful with the menu Food- 5 star Would I come back? 100% YES Great spot!

We were finally able to stop into RUMCOW on Grace Street in Wilmington this weekend!…read more We had a reservation. We were seated within a couple of minutes. Our server Ava knew the menu and read the table well. No overselling, no scripted recitations. She just took care of us. Thanks Ava. The Blackened Chicken Breast came with basmati rice, seasonal vegetables, black bean salsa, and a chipotle cream sauce that worked harder than it had any right to. The flavors didn't compete. They really settled into each other. The Rumcow Salad, loaded with mixed greens, carrot, tomato, onion, cucumber, and wonton strips, we ordered topped with shrimp. It was sharper and more interesting than we had expected. It's a newer spot in Wilmington, and it shows. In The Best Sense. We'll be back for sure!

It's a cool spot with two…read morefloors, a lively atmosphere, and a strong A sanitation rating (96.5), which is always reassuring. The service was friendly and attentive, and we started the evening with a bottle of Cambria Katherine's Vineyard Chardonnay (2023), which was a nice way to begin dinner. Unfortunately, the food this time around just didn't live up to what we remember. We started with the Asian Tots, which used to be one of the best items on the menu. In the past, the peanut sauce was poured over the top so everything came together as one dish. Now it's served in a small cup on the side, and there isn't enough of it to properly coat the tots. They also stopped finishing the dish with the salt they used to sprinkle on top, and even the presentation has changed -- the silver dome they once used is gone. What used to be a great appetizer has been reduced to something that's simply okay. For the main courses, the results were mixed but mostly disappointing. My blackened chicken was a little overcooked. My wife ordered the miso salmon, and that was overcooked as well -- which is especially noticeable with fish. When salmon goes past the sweet spot it quickly becomes dry, and that seemed to be the case here. None of the food was terrible, but none of it really stood out either. Dessert didn't help much. I ordered the carrot cake, but what arrived looked more like a small cupcake buried under a heavy amount of icing, with a large mound of whipped cream on the side. There wasn't much actual cake there, and it wasn't what I expected from a carrot cake dessert. One thing that stood out during the meal is that it feels like the kitchen may be constantly adjusting dishes -- moving sauces, changing presentations, tweaking things that didn't necessarily need fixing. In restaurants, sometimes the best move is to pick a lane and execute it consistently rather than continually modifying dishes that customers already liked. So here's the bottom line. Rumcow is not the Rumcow of yesteryear. Was the food terrible? No. But it was mostly meh, and that may be the most disappointing part. This used to be a place known for memorable dishes and small details done right. Right now it feels like a restaurant that has drifted away from what made it special. The atmosphere and service are still good, but the food just doesn't match the reputation it once had.

The whole experience was perfect. We had to wait a few minutes for our table to be ready. It was such a minimal wait that I didn't think anything of it. Our waitress came over to our table, apologized, and said they'd be sending out their little gem salad and brussel sprouts. Both appetizers were plenty for four of us. The salad was romaine lettuce with fish roe and had a umami style to it that I really enjoyed. The Brussels were exceptional. I'm a big fan normally and these were by far some of the best I've had. For cocktails I tried the man of war and the ghost town which was complex and amazing. For dinner I tried the fish of the day, which were scallops from Maine with ancient grains and a small green salad. The scallops were rich tasting and succulent. My husband had the burger and said it was really good. The whole dining experience was exceptional. The servers were attentive yet knew how to pace our experience. We never felt rushed or imposed upon or forgotten. With all the restaurant choices in Wilmington, Dram Yard rises to the top.
