Great cafe with easy street parking. I had the hot chocolate which was served in a large cup. I had two palmiers on the side that were fresh and delicious. They have interesting outside seating.

Cafe Noir is tucked away and is the perfect gem. This cafe combined with a gallery space is absolutely fascinating. The baristas are insanely sweet and make the best drinks. I got a latte with a raspberry croissant. That latte although simple was made with great beans and love and care. The croissant was STUNNING and flakey and buttery and had a string raspberry filling. The open space is great to sit and chat or get some work done so truly the any reason to go is a great reason!

Cute lil café. I love the location on John R Row, a strip if businesses within a residential neighborhood. The drinks and treats choices are minimal compared to larger commercial coffee shops, but there is enough offered to satisfy every coffee drinker. The sweet potato muffin is incredibly delicious warmed. Service is sweet. Seating very minimal inside, but there are seating options outside when weather permits. Parking available right outside of the door. I only wish it stayed open later. It's 5 minutes from my work. It would be amazing to sit outside and decompress with a cup of coffee after leaving work at 4:30.

Coming to Café Noir is a real treat for many reasons. They have a plethora of pastries to select from, including some I had never heard of before. I tried their raspberry croissant, and while it was slightly too sweet for me, the texture was wonderful soft and buttery. Their coffee was great, served in nice thick mugs. The space itself is a good place to work with plenty of seating. The barista was kind and served relatively quickly. Part of what makes Café Noir special is their connection to the art gallery next door. You can grab a coffee, and then go to the art gallery to see Black artists' work for sale.

Love this cute little coffee shop. Came here for a Too good to go bag and can't wait to come back. Looking forward to sitting outside in the warmer weather in the little sitting spots outside. The music was a vibe and I love that they have artwork for sale on their walls. Drip coffee and my sandwiches were yummy! Service was great! Greeted with a friendly smile, and service was quick. I'll be back soon.

Blueberry Latte here is superb. In general, attention to detail here will make you want to come back. Ambiance is welcoming, staff is professional and service overall made me want to tell my friends about the place and return. Made me very proud to visit a neighborhood coffee shop as a native Detroiter.

They have the best selection of sandwiches and pastries. The service was very friendly, informative and quick. The ambience in the style of the small cozy restaurant was very unique and inviting.

Really nice shop! Go support a local coffee shop, you pay $6 at Starbucks, give it to the community instead.

Good amount of seating and friendly community vibes. The attached Gallery is stellar, too! That sweet potato latté is real good as well.

I visited Promenade Artisan Foods during a Yelp Elite event…read more The service was fantastic. Everyone was friendly. The layout is a bit confusing. They could also use different signage to highlight menu items. After ordering a drink, I noticed, handwritten on a glass partition, a drink that I would rather have had. My original drink order hadn't been prepared as of yet, so I was able to switch. I appreciated the accommodation. The eggnog/coffee drink is a delightful concoction. Definitely give it a try if you like both drinks. I noticed lots of pastries and unique sandwiches. The menu is certainly what I'd call "artisan". Prices are moderate and comparable with other like establishments. The little cafe is a great addition to the vibe of the building.

Promenade Artisan Foods is in the space previously occupied by City Bakery in the Fisher Building…read more Although the restaurant is under new ownership, the concept and food offered are similar to before. It has a European café feel with breakfast and lunch offerings like sandwiches, croissants, and pastries. So far I've tried the rosemary shortbread and the breakfast sandwich. The rosemary shortbread was very buttery with a hint of salt and sweetness. The breakfast sandwich is very filling. It's basically an omelet filled with cheese, bacon, and spinach between two slices of ciabatta. It comes with fruit and whipped cream. Everything is delicious and of high quality. The service is very friendly as well. Since I work in this area I will be stopping by to try other menu items.
