The staff is so friendly and you are greeted immediately. We were quickly seated and the host made suggestions for a few popular menu items. After looking over the menu, our party placed a pretty large order. Everything was delicious and ready so fast! Pho, garlic noodles, shrimp tempura, pork dumplings... they even have a full bar. The hibiscus lychee margaritas were great! The server and host were helpful and kind and the food was just so good!! It was a Saturday afternoon and we were able to get in quickly and get seated. Even though the City Center was crowded, this was less than half full. So maybe the locals don't know about it yet. But everything was great!!

However I really have no idea what to order! Fortunately the girl behind the counter helped steer me in a good direction. My drink was the fruity one and my son got the brown sugar milk... he didn't get boba but I got strawberry boba. My drink was powerfully sweet! Almost made my teeth rot as I was drinking this. It was ok... but there was an over powering taste of tea in it as well. Not bad but not something I would order again either. My son took several sips of his and then tossed about 80% of it away. He didn't like it either. Again the overwhelming taste of tea was not for him either. I guess we just aren't in the hip crowd here... not our cup of tea you could say.

However, I think this Tea Top does whatever and sources the cheapest version of every tea they can find. I tried three drinks here. 1) signature alpine green milk tea does not taste aromatic and refreshing like it is supposed to. Tastes like ordinary green tea. 2) taro milk tea uses purple taro flavoring and makes the drink too sweet, unlike the taro milk tea at other two tea top locations that use real taro. 3) oolong milk tea, once again, does not have a strong tea flavor. Tastes like all sugar even though I got 30% sugar. Oolong is supposed to be creamy and nutty or roasted but instead it just taste like sugar water. Puts the Tea Top brand to shame. Corporate needs to investigate to be honest, because I'm pretty sure they have standards for their tea but this tea top just buys cheapest third party possible. I was stumped on what I wanted to try so I asked the employee for recommendations. She mentioned that the Bubble Milk Tea is their top seller, so that's what I went with. The drink was so cute when it came out with the handle! The boba was fresh, warm, and had a subtle sweetness that I loved. It paired nicely with the milk tea, which was light and not sweet. I really enjoyed it! Even my boyfriend, who doesn't like tea-forward milk teas, liked it too. I'll definitely be bringing him along next time. The aesthetic of the shop is also gorgeous. It tasted artificially sweet, but still really good. I recommend lowering sugar levels next time. I would come back to try other drinks such as the smoothies and coffees.
