I've been here three times and all three times every drink I've tried has been delightful. This last time over the weekend I tried the taro milk latte as it does not contain caffeine (I'm pregnant) at the recommendation of the staff I chose classic boba and brown sugar foam. It was very good and the flavors paired well, but I do think the brown sugar made it a little too sweet. Previously I got the salted coffee drink with the Vietnamese coffee in it and a Thai tea and it was wonderful. The salted foam plus the creamy coffee mixed nicely, and the Thai tea with classic boba is always a winner. We love both Pearl's locations in the northern suburb area. The games and seating of the Johns Creek location are more preferable to me because I feel like I can actually stay a while. The environment is pretty welcoming with the quirky setup of furniture. At this location, the furniture is not as conducive for people to sit and stay a while, mostly because the wooden stairs are a bit of a temporary spot and there are only two tables. It's a bit chilly inside, but that's reasonable given the drinks are cold. The staff is friendly and patient as you decide and place your order. I've noticed that they don't make a ton of recommendations, but they certainly answer questions about specific drinks. Drinks are all delicious, and this place is best known for the cream dream options and the different matcha mixes. They are growing their toppings list, which helps with creating a boba tea that matches your mood. The boba has a great chewy texture, and though drinks come on the sweeter side, they are customizable in sweetness levels. The taro drink, albeit not strong on the taro flavor, is very smooth. read more

I love a good boba tea! There was a time my daughter was super into them, too. Her favorite is Thai milk tea. So we were excited to see this place at the Collection. Unfortunately, the aesthetics of this place is better than the actual tea. They offer milk and fruit teas, matcha and tea lattes, and slushies to name a few, so definitely a nice variety. They also boast being purely organic, which is nice. Pearl's Tea is everywhere from Doraville to Cumming to Hamilton Mill to Lawrenceville, basically all over. Unfortunately, my daughter's Thai boba tea was subpar to usual places we have gone. It just didn't have robust flavor, and we both admitted we had had better. It's more expensive compared to other boba places in that area so if you're looking for something a bit cheaper, I would recommend mochibees or tin drum. Overall, their boba is good but it's not worth the price in my opinion. The overall layout of the place is pretty cool. They have these little steps you can sit on while waiting for your order but that's about it. The place could have been designed a bit more efficiently, such as adding outdoor seating areas or benches inside the restaurant. I feel like it was designed this way to be trendy but it's not a place you can sit down in. read more

The space is adorable! It's light, airy, and welcoming. Plenty of seating. Parking is a breeze. They have a nice variety of teas: milk teas, cream dream, slushies, fruit teas, matcha lattes, tea lattes and they even have kid friendly lattes. Some of the drinks are unique to Pearl's Tea. My family and I came here during their soft opening this past weekend. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We ordered the following: Brown sugar (regular) $4.85 Salted caramel and cream (large) $6.45 Peach slushie (regular) $4.90 I've tried several different flavors from their original location in Suwanee, so I decided to try something new. I ordered the salted caramel and cream and adjusted the sugar level to less (75%). It was still sweet but not overly sweet. The boba/bubbles have the perfect texture and sweetness and were still warm when we got our drinks. My family enjoyed their drinks as well. We're going to be regulars here! read more

Happy Grand Opening to Pearls tea!! They have a few locations including nation wide but this one is at The collection of Forsyth. It's very clean and I love the decor inside. They were having a grand opening special of buy one get one free drinks so I took advantage of that deal :) Brown sugar boba was a just the right amount of sweetness and boba is chewy. I'm so glad I found this location as I was having killer cravings for boba while we were in the area! I had their white peach tea with boba, and I will way that the boba is drenched in a ton of ultra sweet syrup, so I do recommend lowering the sugar level of the drink by at least half if you're getting boba in your drinks. My partner's taro and cream smoothie was also exactly what he wanted (ultra sweet with the boba, but he has a major sweet tooth). I don't think the taro is fresh taro, but if you just want the flavor, it totally does the trick. Overall, I'd definitely be back again if I'm in the area. read more

$15 down the drain PLUS we got so ill. 2/25/22 Just couldn't give a one cause I know there is so so much effort, BUT this is my 2nd time that I got very sick with the high chemicals they call "synthetic purée". The ratio was way to high toxicity with little real juice. I know this isn't a health juice store (it's more for hello kitty fun-fun), but as an adult you still want to enjoy every now. But OH BOY did we get a little surprise. Between the corn syrup, the pineapple perfume syrup and fake flavor, I got so ill. My husband suffered a severe stomach ache, but I could not stop vomiting. His stomach wouldn't stop bubbling. It tasted like dish washing soap was in our drinks. Could that have accidentally happened? I called and told Bri the seriousness of serving those high chemical drinks, and I know she may have been busy. I got an oooopsie "sorry about that" type response. It' saddens me that it was taken so lightly. She said Julia the manager had just left but she'll let her know when she sees her. :/ Uh NO! PLEASE...
