First time coming here and was not disappointed! They have croffles (croissant waffles), tea, coffee, milk tea, and a few food options. It was evening time so I opted for just a brown sugar milk tea, which was delicious. My friends ordered a croffle, which she enjoyed, as well as french fries with spicy mayo and shrimp tempura. Those were delicious for the price, nothing too fancy but a nice snack while enjoying an iced drink and time with friends. They service is very good, they were kind and attentive. They also clear the tables for you, so no need to place your plates anywhere. They have a handful of tables and some board games available as well. It's quiet and a nice spot to hangout.
Vova Cafe has been on my list ever since I spotted they had croffles--haven't had one since my trip to Bali last year, so I was excited to finally try it. It's definitely a hidden gem tucked away in a strip mall, the kind of place you'd easily miss if you weren't looking for it. Ordering is done through a kiosk, which was quick and easy. The mister went for the brown sugar croffle with boba, and I chose the pistachio. While we waited (about 10 minutes), I loved that they had board games available it's such a cute touch and makes the wait feel shorter. The decor is super unique too it almost feels like you're stepping into a 3D sketch, really creative and fun. And the croffles? So worth it. Every bite hit the spot and satisfied both of our cravings. Definitely a place I'd come back to.
I stopped by this place while waiting for my kid during math class around corner, and I'm so glad I did! I tried the strawberry croffle, and it was SO good! The croffle was warm, crispy on the outside, and soft inside. The combination of a croissant and waffle is honestly perfect, and the strawberry made it even better. I also tried the Galaxy Ade and brown sugar boba, and both were delicious! The drinks were refreshing and paired really well with the croffle. Such a cute place to stop by while waiting, and I definitely recommend giving it a try. I'll be back!
There's an undeniable prevalence of boba competition in the southwest part of the city -- seems like there's a shop on every major corner, so my tea ratings are a little more picky and selective. Working on this side of town, one of my new hobbies consists of trying out boba places on my lunch break. Gives me something to look forward to. Vova Cafe features a unique 2D concept for its ambiance. Fun and novel. Service is efficient, interactions kept to a minimum on both visits. They offer teas and desserts, most notable their "croiffle" which is a cross between a croissant and a waffle. On my first visit, I got their STRAWBERRY MATCHA milk tea, which I did NOT like. The strawberry portion was like a basic syrup lined around the cup. It just seemed to overpower, not complement. To me, the matcha portion tasted overly sweetened and inauthentic. Not my jam. The second visit I skipped their drinks and decided to try their croiffle. I went with the PISTACHIO CROIFFLE, which was good and presented nicely. I didn't really get the croissant vibe, more waffle in nature. I was the only one in the cafe at the time, so I got it pretty fast. Only wish it came out warmer than it did. I probably wouldn't go back for the drinks as there's too much competition out there like I mentioned, but their croiffles are worth trying. Great portion and variety.
This place is under New management. I brought my family while eating next door and glad there is a great drink and dessert place nearby by. We ordered The croffles and slushes and they were all delicious first Time trying croffles. The place was newly painted vs the prior business. Right direction under new management. Cute and clean interior Will be back.
Unique black and white designed sketched cafe that offers classic boba drinks! I would say that the drinks are on the sweeter side, so I don't find myself here a lot. The servers are kind. We got the strawberry matcha, and there wasn't that strong of a matcha taste, and the strawberry syrup was quite sweet and overpowering.
I found my milk tea and croiffle spot. They make the best tasting and cooked right croiffle. And I love their matcha with the coconut milk. Service is fast. The only thing I don't like is outside the door there's a young man begging for money so he can buy a drink from here. And also young people like to hang out here and they can be loud and some of them have no manners Like demanding water from the staff without saying please.
Looking for a great boba place to try out? Then look no further! Vova cafe is place! Staff is very friendly and your drinks are made very fast! I really liked how cute and hospitable it felt inside. They have different opinions for you to select from and if you don't want a drink but want something sweet then you have to try their croiffles!
Really liked this place! I got the cookies and cream croffle and it was pretty good. Jayze made it and did a great job, she was really nice too. I also really liked the aesthetic of the cafe, it's cute and has a nice vibe. I thought it was cool that they have games you can play while you're there too. Definitely a nice spot to hang out!
VOVA? A unique name for a unique place! First time here and it was definitely a cute experience. We walked in and it felt like we were in a cartoon! They definitely made an effort to make it look as though you are part of an animation and we loved it! The best part? You can chill and hangout and play games! They had mini games like UNO, Connect 4, cards, and much more on the tables so you can enjoy your drink while having fun too! Oh and did I mention the drinks? If you love boba, you'll enjoy a variety of their selection of drinks and you can customize them too! from sweetness level to iced for smoothie. They'll accommodate you as best they can! We ordered the strawberry matcha milk tea with 50% sweet and it was just the right amount of sweetness! We also ordered the jasmine green tea 75% sweet which was also delicious! Also they have desserts! We didn't get a chance to try them as we were full but definitely next time we will! Their desserts consists of croffles and macaroons! Definitely will be back!

Ambiance of this cafe is so cute! Although the drink quality isn't really good tbh. I've had way better drinks from other places. I got the Royal milk tea, and the flavor of the drink is just like milk with a hint of tea. It's probably because the don't use real tea and just a powder (I assume) The boba was good though! Its consistency and flavor was good. Service was also nice and fast
This is such a cute boba cafe off of Warm Springs and Durango and I love their 2D theme. My family and I came one night 1 hr before closing. The staff was already tidying up but was friendly as they assisted us. I got Hokkaido milk tea and the boba was still fresh.
The ambience was cute and trendy! Service was good! Granted...there was only 1 person working. She was quick! Drinks were good! I got the Pistachio slush and my son got milk tea. I liked that the drinks weren't too sweet! We both got 70% sweetness and it was perfect! We got the Pistachio and Creme Brûlée croiffles and OMG they were both amazing! First impression upon entrance was WOW! It's definitely different from other cafes I've visited around town. It was quiet when I came in but it was also already around 7pm. Parking is very busy as the neighboring shops are often busy places in general so be aware that parking may not be an easy feat upon trekking to this location. The drinks we got were the iced milk tea with boba and hot pistachio latte. Both drinks were ordered with no customizations. Both were great with the only concern that both were overly sweet for my fiancé and I. However it wasn't too much of a big deal. We did wait a bit for our drinks even though we were the only customers in the entire shop during this visit. The concept is very unique and very picturesque but the drinks are very standard. Staff was nice and I'd come back here to give it another try. Definitely a place to visit as this is by far one of the more unique places I've come across in the city as far as cafes. read more

This is my first time in Vova and already I can tell that I like this place. I'm a huge fan of anything boba, cartoon, and they had anime drawings the workers did??? Amazing! The Passion fruit Tea I got was the perfect amount of sweet. I'll be coming back with friends to try the croffles. I came here on a Sunday right when they opened. They are still in the process of expanding their menu but I ordered a hot matcha latte and it was really good! It wasn't too sweet and it had a good flavor of matcha. They were playing K pop songs and they have a table with a bunch of board games. Service was good too, and they have free wifi. However, their seat is not very comfortable hence the 4 stars. read more

: I recently stopped by this little gem on Mothers Day with my mom and my brother for dessert after we had dinner at Black Sheep. We tried the Caramelized banana Croiffle and Taro milk tea boba and matcha milk tea. First and foremost, the waffle itself was light, fluffy, and perfectly golden brown. It had a slightly crispy exterior, providing a satisfying crunch with every bite. The waffle's texture was spot-on, and it served as an excellent base for the other components of the dessert. You gotta try this place out! Their boba is so good and chewy and fresh and the Hokkaido is my favorite! It tastes so delicious. The Hokkaido is fire we tried it last week. A week later, my friend got the brown sugar milk tea and I got a dirty Thai tea (looking forward to staying up tonight) When we got our drinks, and my friend tried it, he instantly was like "this the one" So if you want a safe drink that you know you will probably like, go for the brown sugar milk tea! read more

I used to stop here every couple weeks to get a drink because I would get my lashes done in the same plaza. My boyfriend and I recently stopped here because we were on that side of town and it was so good! The inside is decorated very uniquely and it's always very clean. The service is always quick even when it gets a little busy. The texture of the croiffle was so soft and flakey. We can't wait to go back and try other flavors . read more
Cute dessert place with coffee, boba milk teas, iced tea and even croiffle! The decor is really retro with the black and white matte walls. There are several options for croiffle toppings but I ordered the pistachio croffle and I enjoyed the texture and topping it came with. Tik Tok made me do it and I don't even have Tik tok! I saw this place on the 'Gram this morning and knew I had to go here. Part of me is like don't tell anyone about this place because there's only 4 1/2 tables in the joint... But I also want this place to stay in business. It's really freaking good. Whoever came up with a croiffle-get that person a Pulitzer, an Oscar, A daytime Emmy, Nobel peace prize...I don't care but then some kind of reward. I got a creme brûlée croiffle and it was insane. It was buttery. It was creamy, it was sweet, it was caramelly. It was like my mouth died and went to heaven. I also got a vanilla hazelnut latte which was just average. I wanted to try the Dalgona latte but my brain wouldn't cooperate. Service was friendly and you get a loyalty card. There are several other restaurants in a very tiny parking lot though. So parking is not the easiest. It's also very tiny with not even a handful of tables. read more
We visited the Saturday morning before Easter. We were in town for the BTS concert and we're so excited to find a café that has a croffle which one of the BTS members talked about on In The Soop. This café is in a plaza and has a good amount of parking so it was really convenient. The setting is super cute it's John and decorated as if you're in a black and white sketch. The folks here were super friendly and patient as it was our first visit so we were really looking through the menu. They have a variety of refreshing looking and colorful drinks. On our visit we had the crème brûlée croffle and the Nutella croffle. These are made to order and come out still hot and the crème brûlée just was super gooey and wonderful. The Nutella was my favorite it came à la mode and it was just wonderfully decadent. read more
I went to Vova when I saw the GALAXY ADE all over social media. I loved the 2D interior and black and white aesthetic. The drinks really pop when you take pictures because it's colorful. I got two drinks and a choffle and it was under $20 bucks which I think is fair. The waffle croissant dessert gets topped with different signature dessert toppings like s'mores or tiramisu. They're served warm and they are crispy and delicious. They have plenty of seats, service is quick, and I really like their drinks. read more
I LOVE supporting local business! Vova is a cute vibe! I went here to meet with my former student and her Mom. It was their first time trying Boba and our first time here. They just reopened 2 weeks ago under new management. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and positive. I enjoyed the cool cartoon like vibe. It's like a comic book! Hard to explain and I didn't take pics but I will next time for sure! Definitely a fun place and they have complimentary uno and connect four games you can play! Around 10am, everything else is closed until 11am. So we went to go check out VOVA out of convenience and so glad it happened. The place is so cute, everything is drawn. Like continuous lines, which was awesome to see. The decor is different unlike any other. They even have board games to play while you're enjoying your drink or hanging out. The customer service is good. The cashier was so sweet and helpful when it came to choosing our drinks, she described them very well, we wanted to try all of them. The drinks are not typical, and they are amazing! So different and delicious. You got the try the popular or faves: Dalgona, Galaxy and Brown Sugar. They were sooo good. I'm definitely coming back here again to study or hangout with good company! Definitely recommend to others to give it a try! read more

The whole boba shop theme gives you cartoon/drawing vibes it's super cute! I had the Galaxy Ade-- it's butterfly tea (caffeine free herbal tea) with carbonated lemonade. It's definitely an interesting mix, so I wasn't able to finish it. You'd like it if you're used to a sweet soda taste. The shops atmosphere is pretty chill, and they have board games to play if you want to hangout. The staff was super welcoming and helpful. We asked for some recommendations and she pointed out the best seller drinks. Just check this place out for the dining area it's like your in drawn art cartoon like room. Vova has Korean inspired drinks and croffles (croissant waffles) Ordered a Dalgona latte (dalgona is a Korean candy, Carmel like flavored), a taro drink with boba and a croffle churro flavored. This boba shop has a great aesthetic of cute, unique 2-D art. It's a small boba shop and smelled of freshly made croffles! Service was great and quick. I ordered a strawberry milk tea. I have also adjusted it's sweetness since their drinks are typically too sweet for my liking. Definitely will be back to try their other drink items as well as desserts! read more
The interior is quite fun, I don't really know how to describe it so you should just come and see for yourself. Anyway, I got their dalgona latte, definitely not because I was inspired to by squid game or anything, and it was uniquely sweet and delicious. And nevermind I got it at night, it still tasted great the next morning! To add onto that, we tried their croiffle which was wonderfully and overtly sweet. Anyway, sweet and simple, try vova out several times. You won't regret it! read more
Flavors and service: 5 stars Issues with hours: 2 stars Tried their Dalgona Coffee with honeycomb - so so delicious! It didn't taste like a typical dalgona but delicious all the same! Also, tried one of their croiffles - a croissant made into a waffle - and oh em gee amazing. I've recommended this place to some friends. However, therein lies the issue. They don't stick to posted hours, so I have no idea when they're actually open. My friend wanted to try them based on my recommendation, and made a special trip to Vova only to find it wasn't open at the hours it lists online as well as on their front door. She was there at 11a and waited 20 minutes and finally gave up and went elsewhere. I showed up a second time a couple days ago to repeat my delicious flavor experience, and same thing. I was there at 10:20a (door states 10a-10p) and... Ghost town. I left with nary a person in sight. They are losing business and leaving people disgruntled playing loose with their hours. My recommendation: update them or stick to them. Otherwise, I don't see people continuing to visit. And the drinks and treats are tasty! read more

Unsure if I came on an off day or if this is the new norm, but this used to be a gem. The slushy that I got is quite flavorless and chunky. But where my disappointment set in was before the lack of quality drink. I ordered, the cashier stated "$5.25" and quickly corrected himself to "$7.58" and said the "Tax didn't get added at first." I didn't question it, because I knew a large should have been $5.75 anyway, plus the boba add on. However, nowhere does it state on the menu of the price increase and he did not mention it to me. I sort of felt scammed. The drink was a waste, because it wasn't worth the near $9 including tip, as flavorless and chunky as it was. Don't know that I'd return with as many consistent boba options there are in the SW region. EDIT: I see another review where someone was appropriately charged the large add on less than 3 weeks ago. Why was I overcharged today? Can someone please reach out. read more

Grand opening just happened and I'm very grateful they did. Amazing spot for a coffee or quick bite. Elaine took my order while patiently waiting and throughly answered all my questions. She even offered me variations on my beverage to customize it to my taste! The shop itself was very clean and had great aesthetics, see for yourself with the pictures I've included. I will be stopping here quite often for my morning boost of energy! read more
This boba shop is so cute! They have really good boba - we came to try to dalgona inspired boba and its so yummy! It even has real dalgona pieces on top that you can eat like candy/cracker but also you can let it melt into your boba too and it makes it sweeter! Aside from the amazing customer service, the boba here is genuinely soooo good!!! My fiancé and I randomly came across this new boba location after dinner. I usually get Jasmine Milk Teas at new locations to test if the place is good or not and let me tell you - the Jasmine tea is delish! It tastes very authentic yet not super bitter unlike how some places make it. The boba itself is super soft and chewy! We also got the cookie butter croiffle and holy moly, the first bite felt like i was in heaven. You just have to try it, all the different textures and flavors were incredible!! read more

I was on a dessert binge and decided to try out Vova! I came in on a Saturday afternoon around 12pm and it was empty, yeahhh me! I ordered the creme brulee croffle and a milk tea without boba and it came out to $14. It took almost 15-20 minutes for my order which was strange, seeing that I was the only customer. The ambiance was real cool, the wall decoration is in 3D, almost as if someone took a really big sharpie and started drawing on the white walls- nonetheless, it was very creative and I throughly enjoyed my croffle. It was very creamy, and crunch- I just wished they made the top a little more crispy. I might come back to try another croffle! Happy Eats read more
