I love this place. I and my friends come here after school sometimes and it's so fun! The furniture in this place is so cool! The chairs are so comfy and warm. Every time I come here I cannot leave without getting one of their lemon tarts. Those things are to die for! The people working there are so talented and kind. If they mess up an order then they apologize and remake it. They are so amazing and they should be rewarded! I strongly recommend coming here especially in the winter for some hot cocoa! read more

I trust one place in town, and one place only. for my coffee and refreshments. Amadeus Caffe is amazing. The service is okay on slow days, but due to its lack of "preparation space" it tends to be somewhat slow. The peaceful atmosphere greets you immediately when you step in. There are multiple drinks and snacks for you to choose from. The drinks go from smoothies to coffee and tea. The snacks are usually something on the lines of baked pie and delicious fruit or maybe a cookie. My personal favorite is Kinder pie with a peppermint tea and a nice spot with friends. I especially enjoy the games that are provided for you, such as Scrabble and Battleship. read more

The selection of drinks (coffee and otherwise) is quite wide. Being a non-coffee drinker I appreciated the other options such as smoothies, ciders, teas, etc. The pastries are amazing (and the best part, handmade). They taste delicious and have a hint of sweetness but not too much. The staff is patient, kind, and friendly. Love this coffee joint! Classical music and friendly service, the atmosphere alone keeps me coming back.. I really love their green tea smoothies and cappuccino (which has cute designs in the cream such as hearts/ swans etc) . All of the desserts (which are all made in house) that I've tried so far are incredible, especially the dobos torte. I have stopped here a couple times and would visit regularly if it was in my neighborhood. It has a very eclectic or maybe i should call it European decor of golden lanterns and golden candlesticks and golden wall hangings of cupids with a golden wall plaque of instruments. Interspersed with all these are framed prints and postcards. Where do you sit? You might choose a stiff table and chairs or maybe a comfortable armchair or a sofa to sprawl with a drink in front of you on the coffee table. You might choose an area separated by a golden screen or a canopy overhead. The menu is on chalkboards overtop the counter and in front are cases with pastries. I only drink coffee and it was very good. Today I selected the apricot tart. It was quite tasty, although a bit too crispy for my taste (she warned it eas crispy). It came with a fork, but I picked it up with my fingers in the end. Presentation of the food is fitting for this coffeehouse, coming on a silver tray. I could sit here and read for hours or just sit dreamily contemplating life. It's comfortable. It's inviting. read more

We absolutely love their shop and coffee!! We are from the south and we come there quite frequently!! Their decor is absolutely wonderful and oh their coffee is the best!! I've always loved this place but recently I went there with my 5 & 7 year old grandchildren. My 5 year old grandson wanted a cup of hot cocoa. I've seen them making all types of designs in coffee but was really impressed that they took the effort to put a cute smiley face on a five year old's cup of cocoa! He would have never have known the difference but he was so tickled that his mmcocoa was "smiling" at him. It's nice to know that a place will go the distance for a kid! Good on you! read more

In a college town, you'd expect them to be open into the evenings, but they keep a 9-5 schedule. But if that's the worst thing that I can say about them, we're in pretty good shape. read more

Ok so here's the deal. The coffee and tea here is great. However there is one server there with absolutely zero people skills. The tall guy with black hair. My total for a green tea was $3.02. I had 4 dollars on me and asked the guy if he could let the 2 cents slide. Didn't budge, just shot me a snarky look, didn't even respond. It's 2 cents. That set me in a mood honestly.
