We were looking for a quick coffee spot after our meal and decided to stop by Caffe Bean since it was in the same shopping center as the restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by how big the space is! It's a great place to hang out, chat, or meet with a larger group. Caffe Bean is a Korean bakery-style coffee shop that offers light plates and desserts like shaved ice, smoothies, sandwiches, waffles, and of course coffee. The service was very quick, and I believe the owner helped us; she was very pleasant and welcoming. One thing I really loved about the space is how open yet private it feels. They've placed small decorative planters around the seating areas that act as dividers, so you don't feel like you're sitting right next to other guests. I ordered the taro latte and it was delicious; you ca definitely taste the taro flavor. You can get it hot or iced, and I chose it hot. We also tried the Saigon coffee, which is their spin on Vietnamese coffee. It's not exactly the same as traditional Vietnamese coffee, but it was still good. I stopped by Caffé Bene and instantly loved the vibe. It's cozy, calm, and just gives off really good energy. I ordered the waffle with ice cream on top and it did not disappoint, absolutely delicious! Our hostess was amazing! Super friendly, thoughtful, and never rushed us. She also gave great recommendations, which made the whole experience even better. It's the kind of quiet spot that's perfect for bringing your laptop and getting some work done, or just unwinding. We were super excited to check out Caffe Bene in Suwanee, which I raved as the chain I tried in NYC a few years ago. We stopped by after dinner instead of our usual post dinner boba. The menu wasn't like the Caffe Bene I've seen... which is fine but not sure why they use the brand. Based on past reviews, it looks like they used to be a part of the franchise but it's possible that they're aren't any longer. We noticed the new Mini Snowflake on the menu. We weren't super hungry but wanted something small and sweet to share, so we settled on the mango mini snowflake. The mini snowflake was basically shaved ice, ice cream... and yogurt maybe? It was interesting... but satisfied my sweet tooth. I noticed they serve Stumptown coffee - it was too late for coffee this time - but next time I need to get some work down in a quiet space, I definitely recommend Caffe Bene because it was nice and quiet when we were there. Perfect for focus! I sometimes take my dog to the groomer next door, so next time I may stop in to grab some coffee and get some remote work done while I wait. read more

I haven't been to Caffe Bene since I lived in Seoul. It has the same exact vibe. So Korean with the piano music and plenty of delicious breads and coffee to choose from. Coffee is a little bit pricey, but quality of the latte I had was very good. The only thing it's missing from Seoul is the cute staff workers. They should hire some college students or something lol. Complete the experience. Anyway, a great place to visit and we need locations in the U.S.A. Come to Tampa and Florida in general. I loved the walnut banana honey bread. I have been here twice and both times have left very satisfied. The food here is incredible, very fresh and delicious with friendly and relatively quick service. Also a great place to study since it is pretty quiet and very comfortable. The mango bingsu isn't just shaved milk like I've had in a couple other places; somehow they make it super soft and pillowy instead of being sharp and crunchy. The yogurt is a great addition to the mango ice cream and mangoes (cuts the sweetness super well.) The strawberry toast was alright, nothing special, especially given the price. Tastes exactly like it sounds like. The Bulgogi and portabella sandwiches are incredible, some of the best sandwiches I've ever had. They are pricey but 100% worth it. Plenty of parking by the cafe. Staff wore masks but no social distancing between tables. And this place was pretty packed for how late it was (we went around 7pm). Good selection on the menu, drinks, desserts and even more savory food items. Hazelnut latte: super excited they had latte art even though it was in a to go cup. Tasted delicious, not too sweet or bitter. Triple Choco honey bread: a bit too sweet for me but others enjoyed it. Just the honey bread by itself is tasty too! Carmel banana waffle: this was a little less sweet. The waffle had a nice texture to it. Strawberry snowflake parfait: more light and not sweet. Would've been even more enjoyable on a hot day! Caffe Bene has to be one of the best places to come for some pastries, sweets, coffee, and specially Bingsu with this hot weather. Today we came in specifically to have some bingsu (Korean style shaved Iced) and as always very satisfying. We usually order the Misugaru red bean, but we wanted something more fruity so we went for the mango version and we were definitely glad we tried it. It's not too sweet and very refreshing. The service was super smooth and the cashier was so nice and helpful in helping us with our order. I will try some of their other menu items in the near future since I'm becoming fond of this place. I have been to a lot of Caffe and surely Caffe Bene's layout and decorations is the best out there! If you want to chill and just hangout with friends this is the perfect place to go to! I ordered the Oreo bingsu which I didn't know it came with 2 sizes the guy rang up the most expensive one and I had to eat it alone I ended up tossing more than half of it. In the counter it said that they don't allow refunds. I wonder how many times this happened. Whenever I order somewhere else when there is 2 or 3 options of sizes they always make sure to ask and not assume. So beware with getting their bingsu. You have to specifically say that you want the small one otherwise they charge you extra $5 for the big one. Everything would've been perfect otherwise. read more

Came here with my friend and I have to say they barely take any COVID precautions. The sign outside says they require masks, but they don't take anyone's temperature. Also, I understand it's a cafe and people come to study, but at the same time, we are still in a global pandemic. Everyone from different parties are sitting next to each other. It's so close to the point where it's not abiding to the 6'feet social distancing guideline. I feel like they could limit some of their tables instead of open all of them for the public. If you don't care about the social distancing then I guess it's okay to just ignore my review. The caffe itself is very cute and the vibes are nice. My friend and I ordered the Green Tea Bingsu without the red bean and it didn't really taste good. The nuts inside especially made the taste worse for me. You order at the counter, they give you a buzzer, and you get your order when it buzzes. It's very clean inside, has clean restrooms, and there is free wifi. Ok I gotta say I am shocked that I've never heard of this place before even though they have been around for years. Times like this, i wish I lived closer as this could be a great place to get some work done. DRINKS Drinks here are pretty diverse but since I am not a sugary drink person, I went ahead and got a latte which they were able to make to my liking. The latte was pretty good and they had a few spots where I could plug in and work while enjoying the coffee. There are also canned and bottled drinks available and they can do more sugary drinks such as smoothies and such. FOOD One thing that makes this cafe stand out to me is that it's not just drinks but they have a pretty diverse menu of things you can actually eat. Being a Korean cafe - they are quite a bit of Korean waffle variations as well as cupped and bowled bingsu. What really gets me though are the sandwiches. Those sandwiches will change your life seriously! I got the spicy chicken sandwich the first time I was here and loved it to much - I took the trip back the next day to try the bulgogi sandwich with my friend Daral (the YAM). The sandwiches are made with a ton of love and pack some mega favors. We did an event here with Georgia Foodies and everyone loved the desserts and drinks. Hands down its a great place to hang out and enjoy some good desserts and drinks. A little bit on the pricier side, but a very cute and accessible cafe with lots of seating, making it a perfect spot to go to with friends now while being able to social distance from other customers. The menu is pretty extensive with lots of options ranging from coffee to smoothies to ice cream and even waffles. I ordered a strawberry snowflake, which is one of their special items. (I believe it is just a drinkable strawberry bingsoo) This was around $7.50, which is one of their more expensive items, and the coffee related drinks were around $3.50-$5.50. Taste wise, I loved it and thought it was the perfect mix of strawberries, sweetness, cream, and ice. I would love to come again and try one of their drinks next time. read more

Caffe Bene is a very stylish coffee shop and bakery. The interior decor is fancy but mostly uncomfortable. They must source the wood from some magic, petrified forest. If you see any free pillows, grab them. You're welcome. This particular location serves Stumptown coffee -- not that it makes a difference. I can't tell if it's Stumptown or Folgers because it's made so weak. Not to mention -- expensive. They also have some kind of nitro coffee. I don't know what that is, but because of my curiosity, I will inevitably have to find out. They also serve shaved ice milk ... or snowflake? I usually really love coming here and I have been her quite a few times. I really appreciate that the hot beverages are always the perfect temperature, so I do not have to wait to drink them. It's also a pretty great atmosphere for studying. The other day, however, I was finishing up my coffee in my car and I took a drink. the owner is so friendly and so is all the staff. this is my favorite cafe to spend time in, it's cozy and you can study or hang out with friends. all their bingsus are very big! i recommend splitting with at least 1 other person. green tea bingsu: my favorite bingsu i've had from any place. the matcha flavor and red bean went so well together and the almonds were crispy and added a good texture to them. lavender milk tea: i'm not a big lavender fan so i'm not sure why i ordered but it was still good! you'll definitely like it if you like lavender flavored things. rose refresher: it's a sparkling drink with rose jam/jelly and fruits. it was so good, the rose flavor really tasted like rose and the berries and lemon added a tart flavor. i don't usually reach for sparkling drinks but i enjoyed this one a lot. my grandma in romania used to make rose jam at home and this tastes exactly like it. pumpkin spice macchiato: it's a good fall drink. it's sweet and the pumpkin paired with espresso is an interesting combination. taro bingsu: the taro flavor was so good and paired great with the red bean. i'm not sure why the almonds weren't as crunchy as the green tea bingsu but it was still good. caramel cinnamon honey bread: the cinnamon and caramel on the warm toast are so comforting! very good on a cold winter day. oreo mocha bingsu: a little on the sweet side but it's good. i like the different types of chocolate and the oreo flavor. strawberry latte: basically just strawberry milk but it's good! i like that the strawberry purée doesn't taste artificial. green tea mocha: i'm not sure if this one is my style but it's not bad. the mocha and espresso are good together, but i don't know if i like matcha added. it was interesting to try though! strawberry bingsu: the strawberry was sweet and i like the contrast between the sweet bingsu and slightly tart strawberry pieces. gingerbread caramel latte: it tasted like a christmas cookie as a latte. the caramel and cinnamon go well together and i like the flavor. great if you like sweeter coffee. read more

Stopped by here for a quick snack. We got a vanilla latte and a strawberry waffle. The strawberry waffle looked really beautiful and the fruit was super fresh and sweet. The texture of the waffle could be a bit better, as in more crispier in the outside. It was just a bit chewy. The batter had little beads of sugar in them, which added a nice crunch.
