Awesome! I'm used to the Duluth location and the cookies sold in some Ding Tea locations, so I decided to check this one out on the way home. Food is great! I always love the little treats from here. Price is great, especially for the made-to-order items like the teas. Cakes are very filling, everything here looks smaller than it feels after eating half. I recommend the butter cookies with jam in the center and the black milk tea. Service was good; our cashier was a bit soft spoken but very kind. Very nice bakery and will be going back when in town! Inside was very modern and spacious, with comfortable seating. Employee was very nice and made the drinks quickly. The croissant was to die for!! If you come here, IT IS A MUST-BUY! Honey latte and rose milk tea with tapioca pearls were very good too! My only complaint is the cake. Starting off, this is almost like the other locations such as the one in Duluth. Interior is nice! Was such a good mood to sit in and the decor is so pretty. I asked the person working if they're able to make a Thai Milk Tea that's blended like a slush just how they make it at the Duluth location. I asked three times to clarify if they're able to make it blended to be sure and considerate. The person offered me at first oat milk?? But I just asked for it to be blended. After clearing that up, I asked again to make sure if they're able to make the Thai milk tea blended. Another worker even agreed saying they could. TELL ME WHY WHEN I GOT MY DRINK IT WAS JUST OVER ICE? I ASKED MULTIPLE TIMES TO BE SURE. HOW?! I'm not even upset at the drink, but the fact I asked multiple times and got a confirmation they could make it blended and in the end it was just a normal Thai milk tea. Go to the Duluth location instead. They also messed up the fish waffle orders too. My friend's order was forgotten despite there being only my group and another party in the store. So after a long wait they went up to check for it to be forgotten. When it came out, it was all custard not even half red bean. What the heck is up??? How??? I came here on a Friday night, at approximately 9:50pm (the time will be important to note). Google says they close at 11pm, and Apple maps says they close at 12am, so I figured I had plenty of time to grab a quick treat. I browsed around for about 5 minutes before I brought my item to the register. At that moment, after watching me browse around for a FULL five minutes, the young girl at the register decides to share with me that they are closed(??) I look around; there's people seated, chatting. There's a guy on his laptop. I thought she was joking, until I noticed the blank look on her face didn't change. I say "Closed? Online it says you guys close at 11pm." she says "yeah, that's wrong." I say, "So y'all close at 10?" She says "yeah. The registers close at 10" 2 things: 1. It's not even 10pm yet, it's 9:55. 2. You literally watched me browse around for 5 minutes and didn't think it was worth mentioning that I need to make my purchase immediately as you guys are closing soon? That thought never occurred to you?? So I say, "So.. I just wasted my time looking around? You didn't think to let me know?" She just shrugs her shoulders and mumbles "yeah, sorry." WEIRD. Very weird, very thoughtless behavior. There was a lady behind me in line, just as bewildered. Both of us just awkwardly left the store. Professionalism was at an all-time low. Beautiful place! My only critique is that it's hard to hear the girls working sometimes so you might miss when your order is called out. The drinks also don't have a sticker or anything to indicate the name of the drink. Food and drinks were sub par not great in my opinion. Baked items were incredibly expensive and just "okay". Coffee tasted weak and wasn't hot. Latte lacked good espresso flavor. Service was friendly but the music was a little loud and the restaurant was a little dirty. read more
