The whole atmosphere of the place changes once it's nighttime. During the day I can read a book and enjoy some coffee. At night it's a great place to watch live performances. Staff is super helpful and fun to talk with.

Everything went well! The ambiance was perfect, the service was amazing and the drinks were tasty. We also thoroughly enjoyed the band. This was my 3rd time here and I will continue to tell others and return myself! This is definitely a best kept secret

Stopped in here in an effort to keep checking out more coffee places throughout Cincinnati. It's definitely one I'll be coming back to! First off, the guy who helped my friend and I was so nice! Always love great service and drinks were delivered to the table. I got a chai tea latter per usual (really wished I got 16 oz over 12 oz because it was DELICIOUS) and my friend got the the Sleeping Bee (their special)- this is different from her usual but she enjoyed it and would get again! Also, as others have noted, if you're a Yelper and check in you get a free cookie! Can't wait to come back to redeem it! Honestly, we just came during the afternoon to read a bit and it was nice and quiet. Not much else to say, can't talk on their jazz portion but it seems like a sweet time and great thing to support local musicians.

A great variety of jazz every weekend! Use their ticketing system to grab a great seat, get there early and enjoy the food and spectacular bar choices. Highly highly recommended for the music fan in town or visiting.

I'm so happy that I stumbled across this place looking for date night ideas on Eventbrite. The owners was quirky and cool. He introduced all of the staff and thanked them, which I really liked. He explained that his cafe / venue is a "listening venue." (AKA don't talk the whole dang time). I appreciated that. The only people that didn't abide walked in 30 minutes late, sat right in front of us, and talked the whole time. Everyone else was very respectful. We ordered a flatbread to split before dinner. The southwest chicken and bacon. I don't know how that little flat bread tasted so good! I ordered a chai tea that was superb and very pretty. My husband ordered a mixed drink that was good and then finished off with an Irish Coffee. We thorough enjoyed watching I Am a Walrus here. Fun, jazzy time.

Tonight's band, Estrada do Sol, took me back to my years working in Brazil especially Pelotas in Rio Grande do Sul, way in the south of Brazil. The ambiance was perfect, the food delicious and the company was epic. Jazz numbers from as far back as the 40's with that definite Ipanema feel (yes I worked/lived there too!) this was my first time here - first of many many. I chose a table/seat by the stage so was very "upfront" and personal with the band's singer and she did not disappoint. This place is great for date night, solo self love night, older kids (like older teens) family music night and simple music appreciation night.

$10 minimum drink purchase, alcoholic or not, per person for the performances. My first time here, I'm listening to my friend Dee Marie and the Essie band. She sings with another band that's Cincinnati, OH based. But this is the first time I've heard just her. She has a range, but more mid to low range, which I really like. I'm drinking one of their house mule drinks, The Monty. It tastes JUST like an orange creamsicle. DELICIOUS!

Caffe Vivace is one of my very favorite places to go in Cincinnati. They have made a strong commitment to supporting live music and local musicians, which is both extremely rare and admirable. It is a clean, classy, and safe venue for listening to live jazz. As far as the menu is concerned, Caffe Vivace offers a variety of drink options from handcrafted lattes to cocktails. There are vegan food options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as non dairy milk options for drinks. I love what Caffe Vivace offers the Cincinnati community. If I could give a rating of six stars I would.

As a vegan I was so happy to find that they offer two very yummy vegan items: the African peanut stew and a breakfast burrito.

Overall it was a bit overfilled so it was very messy and hard to eat. I could have done without the hidden coconut shavings inside. KIMCHI & EGG CROISSANT 5 I had this one for breakfast. I warmed it in my air fryer for 6 minutes on 330 so it didn't overcook. The croissant was flaky and delicious, and the kimchi added good flavor without being spicy. I would have liked to see a little more mozzarella but overall it was tasty! SOBACHA CHOCOLATE CHUNK COOKIE 4 Also tasty, oversized cookie. Soft and chewy texture. CINNAMON ALMOND BLUEBERRY TOAST (THURSDAY/FRIDAY ONLY) 5.25 Very good. The cinnamon filling reminded me of a brown sugar pop tart. I warmed it in my air fryer and it was perfect. Would order again. I just wish they had an espresso bar!

Menu is small enough to make you want everything on it - started out with the mochi mochi panic, which we all loved. All of our entrees were worth the wait - super delicious, warm, and hearty. I got the Wagyu Smashburger, which I've had at least 3-4 times now and will continue to get every time I come!

The Dayton/Bellevue (KY) area is really on the come-up. It's a whole new scene from what it was…read moreeven just a few years ago. I've enjoyed many of the new restaurants, shops, and bars but I still didn't know about Elliott Coffee. When it was suggested for a one-on-one meeting, I was excited to try yet another new spot. It's a modest set-up. You order in a tiny building where the line is going to go out the door once there's more than three people in it. There are several outdoor tables and then what was essentially a garage with tables and chairs with the roll-up door open. There were at least half a dozen folks posted up with their computers. I didn't use the wi-fi but I feel like I remember seeing the password, which I appreciate because I always feel like a mooch when I have to ask. I ordered one of their seasonal coffee drinks, something with orange and maybe honey? It was delicious but my favorite part was interacting with the staff. They were so friendly, asking about my day and just chatting. Sometimes baristas are a little aloof but not at Elliott. When I told her I was going to be there but to put it in a to-go cup because I'm clumsy and didn't want to spill it. She said "I'll carry it out for you. You deserve to drink out of ceramic" which I thought was very sweet and above and beyond. TL;DR - Elliott Cafe is charming in all aspects: menu, staff, and ambiance. Check it out when you're in town!
