The new location is really cute and only down the street from their old place. It's bright and updated with plenty seating. We sat and hung out for over an hour while enjoying our drinks. im probably biased because i live so close to this coffee shop & im here like.. every day, but dare i say!!! the best bevs and baristas in the city!! third spaces for reading, getting work done, and just to decompress outside of your home are SO important and necessary, and this location has such a gorgeous, inviting space for anything you want or need! no pretentious baristas, the food offerings are reasonably priced and REALLY delicious, and the ingredients they use for drinks are top notch. i truly cannot speak more highly of this coffee shop i love it here so much read more

I've been mixing things up and adding different coffee shops to my rotation. I'm a big fan of The Fix. Every drink I've had there has been super good. Last time I had an iced pistachio latte with oat milk. Great coffee and pistachio flavor without being too sweet. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of seating options. Plenty of outlets along the walls. Parking is easy with the adjacent lot. Good outdoor space also. read more

This is a cute little coffe shop at 719 E. McMillan. The address on Yelp is wrong. They moved two mo to ago. There is a decent amount of seating but I came at 9 am on a Tuesday and all of the tables but one were full. There were people working, chatting, drawing, and journaling. The vibes were immaculate. I hate an iced Carmel latte which was pretty good but oh my Lord... the Lemon Cruffin was to die for. The lemon curd was not overpowering and it was perfectly sweet and fluffy. I don't know if this is an everyday item or if their pastries rotate. I'm literally considering going back tomorrow for another one. read more

Working through my Coffee Travel Pass for Cincinnati, we chose to hit The Fix at random on Saturday. When we first entered, the initial thought was it was quite small. That's not a problem, but we were here on a Saturday in the early afternoon and the weather was rainy and hot. So, not a lot of people were there. I did wonder what it was like if/when they get busy. A lot of good selections to choose from. We bought a couple of different latte's, cappuccino's and such to try and all were very good. I even took a bag of beans home with me that were pretty tasty as well. The two staff members working were great. Friendly and very nice. Would I go back? Yes, of course. I'd like to look and see where they're moving to and what their new space looks like. Could be interesting. Whether you're coming in for a quick cup of coffee on the go, want to get together with a friend or two to catch up, or to buy the cheapest item on the menu so you can take up a seat and table while you mooch the internet for 4 to 9 hours, I'm sure you'll have a great experience at The Fix. read more

So my BFF was next door getting her nails done so I walked over for a coffee. Well I got a vanilla latte that was super yummy and got her a flat white that she enjoyed. I also got a pastry that had goat cheese in it. Yummy. The service was spot on and they took great care of me. The perfect morning routine consists of a cackleberry breakfast sando and a pick me up from the Fix! I strolled down for a drink while I was waiting for my order at cackleberry, and I was not disappointed. The space is cozy and warm. The same can be said about the service from the staff. I was driving through Cincy on my way to Louisville on a Monday and I needed to stop for a bite to eat and to take a few calls. After a quick search on Yelp The Fix popped up and it was right off the highway. Easy peasy! I found free parking across the street and when I walked in, I was taken aback by the cool art on the walls, the exposed brick, and lovely plants. I found a seat towards the back where I was able to plug my laptop into an outlet for some charging while I got some work done. The wifi was strong which was great, but the bathroom was rather gross if I'm being honest. As for food, I ordered a lavender latte and a caprese panini (mozzarella, tomato, baby arugula, and pesto on focaccia) for about $15. Reasonably priced for sure! I ate every bite of the sandwich and the latte definitely gave me enough energy to finish my drive to Lou. The service was friendly, as they brought my latte and sandwich to my table when it was ready which was a sweet touch. The panini was certainly the star of the show but the latte was great too. This is a cool neighborhood spot and it makes total sense why they have such great reviews on here. While I didn't stay for a cocktail, it's dope that they offer that too. While waiting for my appointment time at Oill and Buff, I decided to treat myself to my third iced coffee of the day (don't judge me!) At the adorable coffee shop next door, The Fix. Omg don't skip this place if you want great vibes, wonderful service and absolutely delicious coffee. I had the iced white mocha with rosemary brown sugar syrup (a fall special) and wow! Such a complex and interesting drink that satisfied my need for sweet and savory at the same time in a drink. The barista was so patient and answered all my questions, giving incredible recommendations which I strongly recommend you take. This was a happy discovery! I was early to my appointment next door at Oil & Buff and literally stumbled into this sweet coffee shop!! I LOVE coffee shops that have more than just coffee and the requisite pastry! I ordered a fantastic turkey sandwich! The food was hot, fresh and made to order! The latte was also delicious!!!! The people who work here are amazing, so kind and helpful!! I sat down at a table and enjoyed my lunch while reading a book! There were small groups of people as well as some people they were quietly studying. I am going to The Fix every time I make a nail appointment: win win!! Another gem for the students/work from homers around Cincinnati. Came to The Fix on a Sunday and was pleasantly surprised! I was able to try an iced pear matcha latte, a seasonal spring drink, and it was delicious and what made it even better was the price, under $5! All of the baristas and employees were also very kind and just exuded bright, happy energy. They have the WiFi password placed at every table which I really appreciated and there's also plenty of outlets to charge. Consider me a fan of the Fix!! I'm always on the hunt for a new coffee shop to mix up the WFH grind - and since I've driven past the Fix at least a dozen times, I figured it was time to stop in. The space is small, but not cramped, with lots of tables to spread out and work our study at. The decor is cute, casual, and inviting ... and it certainly felt like anyone could stop in and be welcomed for a drink. There was only one person working when I stopped in - but they moved quickly, and communicated with me several times that they would be right with me. I also noted their hours - the Fix is open from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. ! Since several coffee shops downtown close at 2 p.m. - these extended hours definitely make this Walnut Hills spot stand out. I ended up ordering a Maple Sweet Cream Cold Brew - which was wayyyy better than anything I've ever gotten from Starbucks. I was also tempted by a chocolate chip cookie on display while I was waiting to order - and I'm so glad I indulged. The cookie was crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and full of flavor. The Fix is also a full bar - with several local beers in stock, as well. PLUS - they offer a few sandwiches and breakfast options! The Wi-Fi information is listed on laminated sheets at every table - making this a fabulous place to sit and sip for a while. I'll definitely be back soon! read more

One of my favorite coffee shops near my house! Parking is a bit tough since there's limited street parking, but it's worth it! Not as consistent as I'd like it be, but overall, the espresso itself is always amazing. Sometimes the milk or syrup portion gets a little wonky and isn't as good as I'd like it to be. But it's never been a big issue for me because it's not a recurring issue! The workers are always kind and welcoming. I always enjoy chatting with them when they're not busy. The staff themselves were very sweet and helpful. It's also a bar. I went in a Sunday so I could get a drink or anything but I know you can mix the two if you're feeling crazy one day! They have a few pastries as well that were pretty good. This coffee/bar shop is located in the same building formerly known as Landlocked Social House. We recently went to their grand-opening this past weekend and I was pleased with the experience. They updated the interior of the place by making the bar area look more chic and replaced the furniture with more comfy bar stools. I'm excited for these changes, because who doesn't want to sit in comfy chairs while sipping on a beer or cappuccino?! As for the staff, they were pleasant and welcoming. They gave off the vibe that they were genuinely happy to have you as their customer and were willing to answer any questions. We ate their free cookies as well as ordered a cranberry orange scone, cappuccino and black coffee. The cappuccino was delicious and not only excelled in presentation, but also in taste. They've partnered with our well known local coffee, Coffee Emporium and brew their coffee at their shop. Great choice! I'm excited to go back and see what changes they make in the future. Based on my convo with the owner, the plan on expanding their menu to serve breakfast and appetizer items. I can't wait and am happy to have this wonderful little coffee/bar shop in the Walnut Hills area. read more

Coffee. ::groan:: Not to be cruel, but coffee's very serious business, and that was my thought every time I plopped down to do mobile work at Landlocked Social House, the former iteration of this coffee house. Well, there's a lot in a name, and I have to say my old gripes are, 'Fix'd' now! TLDR; Landlocked Social House has new ownership, a new name, new hours and *most importantly* new coffee. For as much as I wanted to love the former establishment, I was not a fan of their coffee supplier. It's pretty important to have excellent coffee if you're (at least half of the time) operating as a coffee house. At The Fix, my inaugural drink was a cappuccino and it was delicious (/w presentation value 10/10). Cliff notes version: They now use Coffee Emporium coffee! *no kvetching allowed or needed anymore!* ::wink:: I'm super biased to have a new mobile work spot in Walnut Hills (with this one being right between work and home). The space transforms to a bar at night, so maybe we didn't lose all of the "social" out of that last place just yet. read more

It's always great to find new coffee spots. When I saw it in Yelp I decided to give a shot, so I met up wit one of my friends there. The space is cozy, cute, rustic. It has plenty of room and i like how they have high tables, tables for 4 and tables for bigger groups. The service is also good, the barista was friendly and welcoming. We ordered a cappuccino, a matcha latte, a turkey sandwich and a pesto sandwich I believe. I had the pesto sandwich and cappuccino. The sandwich was delicious. It was full of flavor and a good portion for the price. However, the cappuccino was not the best, I didn't really care for it. I think it was prepared well, but something about the coffee flavor was nothing special. It was worth giving it a shot, maybe I'll go back for something different. read more
