The restaurant is extremely aesthetically pleasing and well decorated with a variety of found furniture and antiques-- including rows of old theater seats, which were creatively used as table seating and crates of fresh fruits and vegetables lining the wall. The café has a fantastic selection of both food and drink. One can chose from a variety of sandwiches that are atypical of Florentine paninis with ingredients such as hummus. For all of their sandwiches, the crust is removed baked into delicious and crisp croutons. There is also a selection of salads, hot plates, pastries, and specials. They serve a variety of fresh, seasonal juices. The cocktail menu is extensive and includes creative, locally sourced and seasonal drinks. Price was set at 70 euros/person (minimum of 2 orders). They also had a non-seafood option for 60 euros (I think), but we weren't as interested in that tasting menu since it included duck, liver, and veal. Out of our seafood tasting menu, our favorites were the shrimp and white bean appetizer, the seafood risotto (so good!), and the sea bass with grilled vegetables.
