The views are worth it, you have to pay the fee for the entrance to the forte which is annoying if you are coming like us, only for breakfast! The food was good, fresh, they have a fix menu or a la carte to choose. ¡Las vistas merecen la pena, hay que pagar la entrada al forte lo que es molesto si vienes como nosotros, solo para desayunar! La comida era buena, fresca, tienen un menú fijo o a la carta para elegir.

This is a charming little cafe located inside a still active however for touristic purposes military fort in Copacabana beach area. This cafe is inside the fort so you cannot drive in there unless you are permanent party, visitors have to pay for admission to get into the fort. The fort has a museum and some amazing views to enjoy, as well as some places to buy some momentos from the trip but once you are done doing that sit at the cafe. The best tables are the ones right by the water with an amazing view of the Copacabana beach, overlooking the water and the most beautiful post card view. Just for the place and view it is worth the trip here. The service is not the best, but here in Brazil the tip is included in the bill so service all around town is not the best, specially if you come from a town like NYC you will notice the difference right away. BRAZILIAN WAY- I got this drink that was a mix of cachaca and fruity juices like passion fruit and such. the drink for me personally was a very sour drink, but most people when dealing with passionfruit are fans of that kind of experience, so if you are one of the people who like that tangy punch, this drink is for you. remember to keep your straw off the cup while not drinking, the straws in Brazil now are paper straws and they will get all saggy and sad if left in the drink for a long time. INCRIVEL BOLO GELADO DE COCO- this is a cold coconut cake that comes with a sauce on the side, the sauce is warm and makes a bit of change on the experience of the cake, the cake was indeed pretty incredible just like said on its name, it is definitely worth the try if you come here for a dessert. The coffe here is pretty. good too, I did have any but my friends did and they were pretty amazed. Again, the service is not the best, we did wait a long time after the food and drinks came to get ahold of the waiter for our check, it seems like that in Brazil the wait staff will not be coming back to your table once all meal is been served, you need to wave them over after meals are served, I am not quite sure why. Just for the view this is a worth while place to come.

    Breakfast for two special

Go! Worth the wait. Incredible views! The food is amazing. The breakfast for two was plenty we could not finish it all. The burrata was yummy. We ordered a few things to try and it did not disappoint.

This was a great find in Copacabana. It's on the grounds of the Copacabana fort and feels like a little getaway from the action in the main part of Copacabana. It's important to note that each person in your party needs to pay an admission fee to the Fort to dine here (5 or 6 Reais I believe). It's totally worth it because you get a wonderful view and can visit the fort and museum. I ordered the seafood moqueca and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The coconut cake was also very good. The food was higher quality than I expected from a small cafe on a historical site. Even if you only go for coffee, the view is well worth it, particularly at sunset.

I visited here in the afternoon and loved their drinks and lunch options. The view is amazing and so was the food! Would recommend to anyone coming here. There is an entry fee of 6 rials but it's worth it. Enjoy the museum, fort and view of ocean with turtles.

This place is great for brunch if you're in the Copacabana area. It's located on a military fort and the views alone make it worth checking out. The mimosa was huge and the break so fresh! This is a must while in Rio!

Yummy! I ordered and loved their Brazilian Ice Cream Bowl: Acai Ice Cream, Tapioca, and sprinkled with Brazilian nuts! Savoring each bite while looking out onto the gorgeous view of Copacabana Beach and Sugarloaf Mountain! Time just slipped away! Brinde!

This is a nice cafe in Copacabana. It definitely has the most styles of coffee brews I've ever seen in Brazil. You can choose between French Press, Aeropress, Chemex (pour over), filter (via Hario V60), and all of the standard espresso varieties. The wait staff is super helpful and patient, and they are more than happy to explain to you their different roasts available as well as the differences in brewing methods. The only downside to their coffee is that even the French press and the pour over result in exactly a 8-oz serving, so you don't get a whole full French press or Chemex like you get at many cafes in the U.S. I haven't tried everything on their menu, but I personally love the waffles, they're crispy and delicious, and you can choose between a variety of toppings (my favorite is honey & butter). It's a perfect midday snack! With a whimsical colorful atmosphere, the decor is so well thought out that this cafe really almost seems out of place here in Rio. Where many cafes here seem to think of their interior design as an afterthought, here they have made it a priority. With plenty of table space and comfortable chairs, this is an excellent place to come and spend the afternoon working on a project. They also have some great desserts available and the rest of the menu, which includes soups and omelettes a and other light foods, looks amazing If you're used to the comfy cozy cafes of the U.S. and want a place to get some work done, this is definitely your spot (as long as you don't need wifi). It's also a great place to come with a friend to have a relaxed conversation.

The access is easy,…read moreand it felt much less crowded than the famous original location downtown, which made the experience even more enjoyable. This century-old café is full of history, and having coffee here with a breathtaking view of Ipanema Beach and Sugarloaf Mountain is simply unforgettable. The ocean breeze makes everything feel extra special, and the service was excellent from start to finish. After eating, it's the perfect spot to continue your day with a walk along Copacabana or a visit to the fort museum right next door. I came with my family and had the chance to try several dishes. The cappuccino was outstanding, with the perfect balance of sweetness and a warm touch of cinnamon. The American toast with jam was delicious, and we also tried the pistachio éclair, which was very good, although it tasted more like a creamy filling than a strong pistachio flavor. The pastel de nata was small but really tasty as well. My favorite, though, was the "Queijo do Forte," a breaded brie that was absolutely incredible. The Assado de Gorgonzola was also perfectly prepared, full of rich flavor, and the meat was cooked just right. As a final highlight, I loved being able to enjoy a truly fresh natural orange juice with lunch -- something I really miss when I'm abroad. A perfect mix of food, tradition, and one of the best views in Rio.

Every outdoor seat by the beach was taken and a few spots indoor were available. We ordered the brigadeiro, chocolate tarte devoured it and left. The prices did seem high as compared to other places but I guess thats cos they are popular. Overall a good visit after a long walk by Copacabbana beach.
