I loved this little place. The food was really good and outdoor deck very comfortable. I would love to have a place like this near where I live. Friendly workers as well. Do have to pay for water, $1. I had the sampler platter and all 3 salads were good. The tuna had a sweet relish ir something. I loved it. My daughter got the one salad plate and her one scoop was as much as one of mine and I had 3 of them. At that point just get the sampler. They were the same price. We all loved our food. Adorable cafe inside a nice gift shop (Bakers on Main). I came here last week for a late lunch after working in Guntersville. Although they were less than an hour out from closing, the friendly staff was still more than willing to serve me something tasty! They have your typical southern cafe type foods (salads, simple sandwiches, pimento cheese, nice desserts) and some creative specials. There's a nice patio out front as well as indoor seating with nice views of downtown. And of course, there are plenty of nice gifts to browse while you wait for your food to come out. I ordered a strawberry citrus salad and an iced brownie for dessert later. I really wanted to grab some strawberry pretzel salad out of the cooler, but sadly the lady in front of me in line ordered the last three pieces. Sad :( The drinks are self-serve but the employees brought my food out to me. I was super hot from a long day of being outside, so I really enjoyed their sweet tea! It was very refreshing. My salad was very yummy! I got it with a vinaigrette that was bright, punchy, and was a perfect match to the sweet and sour fruits in the salad. Two large multigrain crackers added some yummy crunch. There was one piece of orange that tasted a little off and a few bites heavy on the crumbled feta, but overall I really enjoyed the salad and would order it again. Cafe 336 is a cute little cafe located in Baker's on Main. I stopped by here for brunch last weekend. They had a couple of brunch specials going on including the Quiche and Croissant Special. The ladies working there on Saturday were super nice. I wanted to order the Quiche Special but I think the cashier misunderstood me as wanting the Croissant Special. No big deal as both dishes seemed pretty yummy to me so I didn't correct her. I chose my croissant to have bacon, scrambled eggs, and pepperjack cheese. The eggs were my favorite part! So fluffy! I think they forgot the cheese unfortunately. The bacon and croissant were both delicious. The special came with a small slice of watermelon and a tiny muffin. For the price, I would have liked maybe a little bit more fruit. Overall, this was a pretty cute cafe in this area. I just don't think the quantity was quite worth the price for me to want to come back. read more

DINERS BEWARE. We had a very poor experience. Six of us walked in and ordered a menu item each. We were very shocked at the total but went ahead and paid it, after leaving a 15% tip. Once we sat down and discussed the total my son said he saw the cashier charge us $1 per person as a "tip" and $.75 per water. She did not tell us about either charge. Then when we got my daughter's brie grilled cheese, she opened the sandwich to find 1 piece of brie about 1"x2 1/2" along with the two pieces of bacon. That's literally it. The 3-bite piece of quiche was laughable. We all decided that we needed to stop for lunch on the way home from lunch. Oh, and don't think your tip will get you anything. We had to get our own drinks and bus our own table. What a pitiful restaurant. Don't waste your time. read more

I have been coming here for years!!! I don't know if they changed ownership or what but I have never been treated so poorly by a business in my life. There were workers standing around, and they weren't even that busy...but for some reason as I stood by the drink station for a few minutes, no one offered to assist me. It was 90 and hot outside and we had been waiting for 10-15 min so I just wanted some waters. I went to get a cup to get us some waters, when at that moment the worker girl decided she would serve me. "You can't touch that" she said. I explained that all we wanted was our drinks and if only employees can touch it, could she do it. She blew up at me and told me my "attitude" was not welcome there, that she was the owner, and she said to not bother coming back. I told her in the time it took her to be rude to me she could've simply poured the waters. She didn't have words to say, poured the drinks and I returned to my table. The food was actually very good, as it always is...but the little server girl continued to check on the tables around us but ignored us. We needed refills but I was too scared to ask for them because last time I asked for waters she told me my business wasn't welcome. Never in my life have I been treated that way and I don't plan on ever returning. Sad to lose a classic lunch spot, but you should never treat someone that way...especially not a paying customer. read more
