Café 8 is a family style café serves all day breakfast. The owner is from Taiwan and she ran her café previously in Langley for 13 years before moving to White Rock. She cares about customers and keeps good relationship with her customers. There are two couples keep going to her café every single day for 13 years although she moved to new location. Food is good. Smoked Salmon Egg Benedict is my favour. Sister ordered the Two Two Two. Oh, by the way, if you ever go there, you must try their hash brown. It's very crispy and fresh made everyday. Wow, this is the first time I wrote a long review. LOL.

    Hot chocolate is niceeeee

Clean, prompt service, family owned. The nicest asian family. Average pricing. So many options. Fluffy pancakes, crispy hasbrowns, crispyi bacon, amazing hollandaise sauce. They even crisped my english muffin for the eggs benny. Scambked eggs are nice. Sausages are great and finished my meal with orange slices. I heard the fresh fruit rotates though. Maybe next time not oranges. Would come again. I drove all the way from New Westminster because i heard good things.

Omelette with yummy hash browns, toast and watermelon.

I find it a convenient spot for my cool down treat as it's on the strip right close to the foot of White Rock Pier, Canada's longest. Ask for samples first before you settle on a flavour or two. My favourite for gelato right now is still Bella Gelateria, in Vancouver. Maya's selection of gelato is limited, but 100% worth it especially when it's 35°C / 95F outside. There's plenty of restaurants nearby as well with several fish & chip spots & burger joints. Parking is a challenge along the entire strip, but if you're patient, unlike me, you'll find a spot so worry not. Keep in mind that the strip which runs along the beach, draws heavy traffic. Service was fast and friendly, and our lunches appeared to be made with fresh ingredients. My husband's hamburger was excellent, but his accompanying chicken tortilla soup, while fresh, didn't include the tomato/Mexican spices that he expected. My avocado, cream cheese, sprouts sandwich on wheat bread was fresh, but light on the creamy fillings. Accompanying small salad was as expected. Coffee was very good. One additional recommendation would be to put the menu in the window. We weren't sure what to expect -- and others peeked in while we were eating, seemingly also looking for a menu.
