Mango with Nutella Crepe (It tastes MYCH BETTER than this picture!)
    Ann A.

This is our go-to place for crepes and ice cream. This place usually gets crowded on Friday and Saturday night. I tried something different. I thoroughly enjoyed their Café Liégeois. It was a refreshing coffee beverage with coffee ice cream. The bottom half of the drink reminded me of Serendipity's Frozen Hot Chocolate.

stumbled upon this place while shopping at greenbelt and i'm so glad we did. the place was a bit colder than i'd like but will definitely take the cold over the manila heat. the staff was very kind and attentive. i ordered the mango crepe which was one of the most amazing crepe ive ever had! my husband took a bite of my crepe and immediately ordered one for himself. which says a lot since he's usually not a dessert person. i will definitely be coming back here when i'm in town.

Came here after dinner with lots of time to kill before an escape room. The service is typical of Philippines, friendly and quick. I'm giving 3 stars because my friend had a crepe that was supposed to be flambéd with gran marnier. They didn't heat it long enough so literally it was like you poured a shot on top of a crepe. It was so gross I gagged and spat it out. The Nutella & banana crepe I had was a solid 4. The ambiance is cute, it's in greenbelt and they have a patio to people watch. We sat inside since it was hot though. But overall a good experience.

Can't go wrong with the food selection. Go to place every time I'm around.. Ambience is perfect for meet ups, date s or just hangin with friends to catch up. Service is still the same from the original place up to the current location, friendly staff and knowledgeable.

    Galette Bretonne. Delicious!

Excellent crepe place! Loved all 3 crepes we ordered- we had Galette Bretonne with shrimp, crab, spinach and this wonderful sauce, the crepe with eggs, cheese and tomato, and the Crepe Suzette for dessert which was lit on fire and tasted exquisite. They all melted in our mouths. Cafe au lait was very good too. They also accept credit cards (including Amex).

This was the best breakfast and the best meal i had in Manila my whole stay. The place was clean and fast and friendly. It took a while to get our check but honestly the food was so good I'm willing to overlook that. I got the egg casserole with chorizo. It was garlicky and creamy and warm. It was perfect. The bread slices for dipping in the runny egg was perfect. I got an espresso which was bold and flavorful. After I ate the casserole I needed more so I got a mango crepe. The mangos were fresh and sweet. The crepe was delicate exactly how it should have been. I can't recommend this place enough.

    Cold coffee

It was actually my mom who told me about this place. She had breakfast here a few weeks ago with her friends and told me that the food was good. So, I decided to try it out. Maybe I ordered the wrong kind of crepe. Or this is really how they make crepes. But, I found it bland and lacking. Basically, it was like eating a thin pancake that had no taste at all. Although, the cold coffee that I ordered was really good. It wasn't that bitter or that sweet. It was just right. The waiters are really courteous, but there are times when it is hard to call their attention especially if you are seated outside. Another thing to remember is that it takes a bit long for them to process the bill. If you're in a hurry, ask for the bill after they bring you your food. Will I go back? Yes, I'll be back for the coffee.

I often go to Cafe Breton to get my crepe fix, but these days I go there to get away from home and have time for myself. Usually, I go to the branch in Magallanes since it's very near my house plus they used to have brick oven pizza which sadly they've taken out of their menu. It's nice to have coffee with friends in Cafe Breton because there is no wifi. You can just really do old school bonding (aka chit chat) with your friends or dates without being bothered by LTE or 3G. La Pinay is my favorite crepe because chocolate and mangoes.. Duh. Add a milkshake or hot chocolate and I think that sweet tooth will get over that any sugar craving. In their branch in Greenbelt though, it gets a bit sketchy at night because all the DOM's start coming out in the restaurant beside it. But don't fret, just look smart and learn to ignore and you'll be perfectly fine.

    Hot calamansi
    Victoria H.

Came here for a place to sit and use WiFi and ended up ordering hot calamansi for 90 php. The drink was nicely sweetened with a little bit of tart. This was my first time drinking calamansi hot and I think I prefer it hot over cold now. The ambience is nice, small, wooden tables and chairs. The WiFi signal was nice and strong.

I love crepes! I grew up snacking of all sorts of crepes and this delightful treat became a regular when I was studying abroad that I would have probably been eating crepes at least two times a week! Breakfast crepe, lunch crepe, all other savory crepes, dessert crepes, and classic crepes! My list can go on and on! I'm happy that in Manila there is a place that satisfies this craving...and thank goodness it is also just a somersault away from where I live! Café Breton has been around and has opened several other branches in the Metro. Other places have tried to do crepes but Café Breton does is best and with wonderful consistency.

For savory, my family always orders the Dracula. My favorite dessert go-to's are the Fantastic Pinay, the Nutella banana crepes, and the butter-lemon-sugar crepes. My family has been coming here for years and it is always one of the first places I have to visit whenever I'm in Manila. This place brings back so many memories and never seems to change, one of the things I love about it. The atmosphere is very casual and conversational. Coming here for years, my family has consistently had wonderful experiences here. It's also definitely kid-friendly. Cafe Breton can always be depended on to m serve delicious food and have great service.

Crepes and Cream may be ubiquitous in the metro's malls, but that doesn't mean their products are automatically inferior. What I can appreciate is that they offer a variety of flavors, from the savory to the sweet; their stalls and are clean and uncluttered; and they make the crepes fresh and fast. (It's quite addicting to watch their staff turn the batter into perfectly thin crepes that, no sweat! And I've always marveled at how their crepes don't tear or break down at all despite being filled and folded in a rush.) I recently triend their Kani Crepe while my sister had the Taco Crepe for lunch. Though the filling is not as abundant as I would have wanted, the simple but yummy flavor of the crepe made up for it. They were quite filling, too, lasting us till dinner while we strolled around the mall.

Before I tried this place, all the crepes I ever had were of the desert variety. That said, the stuff on their menu isn't that expensive. The quality of the crepe is great at least when compared to most of the places I've been to. Give it a try, once again, since you'll do little wrong in spending your money here. I sure as heck didn't regret it when I did.

And I still consider myself French in this current life. Just like any Frenchie (or fine, French wannabe), I need my crêpes, French-flavored quaintess and that dose of la joie de vivre, preferably with French language all around me, if not through actual French speakers then at least through music. La Crêperie gives me all these, nicely tucked in a quiet side street in Salcedo Village. Their galettes are ultra-cravable, with me having the Nami (caramelized onions, herbed cheese, mushrooms and extra spinach) twice already this week alone. The third time will be tomorrow. The fourth will be the day after. And maybe I'll add that cup of Angelina's hot chocolate (YES, THAT ANGELINA! FROM PARIS! THEY HAVE IT OMG) for dessert. They mix modern furniture, white brick walls and some roustic demolition wood columns. Add elegant chandeliers to the Picture and you'll feel what this place is about. The house's specialities are crepes and galletes. I appreciate the "galettes de sarrasin", made with 100% imported buckwheat flour. It's nice to have glúten free options on the menu! My favorite one is the Italienne (ham, mozzarella chesse, pesto, tomato and cream; Php 385). When I want something different, I order the Savoyarde (hungarian sausage, raclette cheese, picnic bacon, marbled baby potatoes, cornichons and picked onions; PhP 395). Those who don't want crepes have other options like pasta, salads, hamburgers and meals with rice. The food presentation is also very nice, what gives the experience a sophisticated touch. By those litte details you can feel the kitchen is not churning out thousands of crepes per second in a mecanical way. Instead, everything is created with care. A plus is that the kitchen is open, so you can check how your food is being prepared. For dessert, ask for the Double Chocolate Fudge sweet crepe, with fidge brownie bites and homemade bittersweet chocolate sauce topped with vanilla ice cream (Php 235). On hot Summer days I would recommend the Strawberry Mango Jubillee (Php 315), which is very fresh and light. The drinks section also offers some great surprises. Coffee lovers will also have a great time. I've tried the Café Affogato (Php 125) and it was so creamy! Their must-try, however, is definetelly their hot chocolate named Angelina's (Php 210). Since I'm a tea lover, something I really love about this place is that they serve TWG tea. My favourite one ever is Paris Singapore. Sweet and romantic in the right amount, just like the place.

Most of the restaurants there are targeted towards the student population, so a quaint, quiet French restaurant is not something you would typically expect to be there. When my friends and I are in the mood to have a relaxed and yummy meal (before our study sessions or meetings at Craft next door), La Creperie Provencåle is often on the top of our list. The moment you step inside, it feels as though you've been transported directly to Nice or another one of those quaint French provinces; the ambiance is perfect for good conversations and kwentuhan and is a pretty nice date place as well! You can probably guess from its name, but La Creperie Provencåle has a great selection of delectable crepes just waiting to be explored. If you've got a sweet tooth, choose from their gourmet Crepe Sucrées; whether you want fruits, chocolate drizzle, nutella or oreos on your crepe, they've got it! If you're into more of the savory variety, their Galettes de Sarrasin are worth trying as well. I've also ordered their Greek Eggplant Moussaka (something I will always order if I see it on a menu), and it was oozing with cheese and bechamel sauce. This is the perfect place to sip on some coffee or tea; they offer TWG teas and a number of coffee variations, which is perfect for a caffeine addict such as myself. It wasn't until I saw the menu that I had realized it was the same restaurant I previously tried, so I thought, "OK, this should be good." Although I found it rather strange that they'd put up a branch there as I have a notion that La Creperie can be a bit pricey especially for students. First of all, the ambiance. It's not really conducive for studying, but more for an intimate dinner with your significant other or a best friend with its cozy lighting and interiors that scream "tea party!" Kidding aside, while the interior's all girly-girly, I think it helps set the mood for the food you are about to enjoy. As for me, I had the Le JJ - a tomato, ham, emmental and gruyere cheese crepe served with a side of greens. Let me tell you though, the plate was lovely! The food was okay for me I guess, it's not too filling and I think it's a great option if you're looking for something light (plus nice to look at). On the side, I had a steaming hot pot of TWG Silver Moon Tea. The teacup itself is super pretty!!! I felt really dainty while drinking my tea and enjoying my crepe. One of the biggest things though about La Creperie is that they already had TWG tea on their menu even before the TWG restaurant came to Philippine shores, and on my very first La Creperie experience, Silver Moon was really, love at first taste so this is what I ordered when I stumbled upon this branch. Overall, I think La Creperie would make for a good date place (guys, please take note!) It has everything a girl will probably want to make the date picture perfect (and Instagrammable): pretty plates, pretty teacups, light food, pretty ambiance. Hey, even if you really enjoy your date's company, you can continue the fun right next door with a cup of coffee at Craft.
