blueberry matcha more watery than id like and blue berry compote lil thick.

No it for me. We decided on coffee/matcha at this place mostly for the aesthetic... Unfortunately it wasn't great. I always try to go for non chain coffee shops, but this was not it. Service was dull as well. We went semi early around 8:30a not too busy. This place was bookmarked for a while and unfortunately it was disappointing.

Great place for coffee and breakfast. Definitely a place that I will return to.The service was great and the ambulance was live. If you like chilaquiles Verde and chorizo breakfast burritos then you need to try Cafe La Jefa. Oh and their churro latte was amazing

My husband and I went here two days in a row because we were really impressed! There is limited street parking in the front, but not difficult to find street parking nearby. Super cute restaurant! When we went on Saturday morning, the line was long and wrapped all the way around. We probably waited 30 minutes in line. We noticed when we were almost in front to order that we can order online. My husband put in the order for the food online so we wouldn't wait too long. I ordered matcha at the counter. Matcha & the food came out at the same time thankfully. I really enjoyed the "Dani's Matcha" with vanilla cold foam! Not pictured, but I ordered the breakfast plate & my husband ordered the breakfast sandwich. We both enjoyed our meals! Hash browns were delicious. We went again the next day and ordered online ahead of time. Food & drink was ready by the time we parked! Definitely a game changer to order ahead online to avoid the line. We ordered the breakfast burrito & fresh toast the second day! I really liked the dulce de leche sauce on top of the fresh toast. I thought the burrito was just alright for it being $19. Would definitely recommend!

Cafe La Jefa is absolutely adorable and has become one of my favorite coffee shops in Palm Springs The vibe is completely my style oh so charming welcoming and surrounded by gorgeous pink bougainvillea with a beautiful outdoor patio and a cozy indoor seating area that's perfect for relaxing. The menu is absolutely fantastic with everything from delicious chia seed puddings to flavorful chilaquiles and other breakfast favorites. I ordered an almond milk latte it was one of the best I've ever had! They use Holy Kakow syrup which has a more natural flavor that I absolutely loved. Every sip was incredible. What ever you do don't leave without trying the gluten-free cookie it is to die for! I came here to celebrate my birthday with coffee and Jana made it so special by writing the sweetest birthday message on my cup. It completely made my day! Jana and Diana were both so friendly professional and genuinely caring. Their customer service was exceptional and made the entire experience even better. Another bonus is that there is plenty of parking cafe La Jefa is surrounded by so many cute local boutiques to explore afterwards. If you live in or are visiting Palm Springs do yourself a favor and support this wonderful small business. You won't be disappointed! 5 stars Customer Service (Jana & Diana) 5 stars Coffee Quality 5 stars Flavor 5 stars Parking

My wife and I stopped by Café La Jefa to work remotely and it's honestly a great spot: fast free Wi-Fi, clean bathrooms, and plenty of seating outdoors for those that need to take calls. There is unfortunately only one table that's near an outlet, so plan accordingly if you expect to be there for a long time and need to charge your devices. I tried out their cardamon latte and really liked how prominent the cardamon flavor was. The drink wasn't overly sweet either. While I didn't personally order any food, Café La Jefa offers a small breakfast and lunch menu with an assortment of toasts, salads, and bowls. Ordering is at the counter, you're given a number, and food is brought over to your table. The line inside for food and drinks never seemed to die down, so you may end up waiting a while to order. Overall, Café La Jefa is a solid option for those seeking to get some remote work done.

Breakfast Sandwich (comes with hash browns but I didn't want them)

The Salted Maple cold brew was amazing. I've had a few salted coffee elsewhere and most are overly salty. This was spot on and not too sweet. Definitely more of a restaurant than a on the go type coffee shop and the prices reflect that. However, I pleasantly surprised with the portion of the breakfast sandwich and it came with hash browns. I was on the go so opted out of getting them but the barista did offer to sub it. They have more matcha recipes than coffees listed but have a variety of syrups AND milk alternatives for coffee drinkers. Will need to go back to try more.

If caffeine had a love language, Cafe La Jefa would be writing me poetry in oat milk foam. I came for "just a quick coffee" and somehow left emotionally attached to a seasonal lattes that tasted like pure sunshine (I'm looking at you, fresas con crema, which unfortunately they don't make anymore). Their specialty drinks are dangerously good -- the kind of drinks that make you take one sip and immediately start recommending the place to strangers like you're on commission. And the breakfast burrito? Absolutely elite. It's the kind of burrito that makes you pause mid-bite, stare into the distance, and rethink every sad granola bar you've ever eaten. And the space itself? So aesthetic it makes me want to become the kind of person who journals under a palo verde tree. Every corner looks like it was designed for a "casually candid" Instagram photo where you pretend you didn't spend 14 minutes arranging your drink.

Wanted to make a quick coffee stop before our drive home so we came here first thing in the morning. There was a lot of parking at that time so that wasn't an issue. The ambiance of the shop is super cute! There's outdoor seating which is nice if you wanted to bring your dog or hangout with friends. The coffee was great and so were the pastries. Definitely going to come back next time we're in Palm Springs!

I ordered the bagel and lox. It was a beautiful presentation. It was delicious. I also ordered the lemon ginger tea. This is a very nice restaurant has an outdoor seating area as well as indoor. The employees were also very friendly and nice.

Palm Springs has officially become our go-to for dog friendly travel, and Café La Jefa was our first coffee stop for a reason. We always skip the chains and look for local spots, and this one stood out with its custom flavors and dog friendly setup. The space itself is small but charming, tucked into a shared indoor building with a few boutique style shops that weenie dogs, art lovers, and fashion folks will appreciate. Bonus points for letting dogs inside, which is a rare and very appreciated perk when it is chilly out. I ordered the Pretty Little Latte with rose, pistachio milk, and matcha, and it was smooth, subtle, and not bitter at all, clearly made with quality matcha. The rose was gentle and not overpowering, and the pistachio milk was a surprisingly great dairy free option. I ordered it hot and sipped on it for over an hour. My husband went with the Dulce de Leche latte with an oat milk swap and was equally impressed. The only small bummer was the plant shop being closed, but Café La Jefa still delivered exactly what we want in a coffee stop, thoughtful drinks, a cozy vibe, and dogs welcomed without hesitation.

addicted to their matcha lemonade & london fogs, this is my go to cafe spot since it not only opens EARLY but is close to my house. love that they offer food/ lunch options besides their pastries and on the go snacks. i've tried the cesar salad, veggie wrap, pancakes, and chilaquiles. get the chilaquiles, you won't regret it!! i love that it has a kick to it too

    Acai bowl -- breakfast menu
    Constance L.

Friendly staff, great menu selection, and perfect place to get a bit of work done. The cafe has ample indoor seating and free WiFi, with nooks and crannies where you can squeeze in a few productive hours. It's also located in a building with a few other small businesses, so perfect for a bit of browsing and gift shopping! The acai bowl was huge, fresh, and a delicious way for me to get my 5 servings of fruit in in 1 go haha. The pumpkin spice latte with cold foam was less impressive and wasn't as creamy or flavorful as I'd like, but next time I'd probably just opt for a hot drink so it doesn't get diluted by the ice.

This café uses Sisters Coffee beans and they absolutely nailed our drinks. We also got two pastries, a spinach and feta pastry and a cheese danish that were on point. I loved the branding and decor, it had a very relaxed and pretty vibe with all of the pink flowers and greenery. The most surprising thing to me is that they managed to pull all of this off, the great coffee drinks, the nice pastries, the pretty vibe and the killer Location, right in the middle of downtown Palm Springs, without being overpriced. The total for the two pastries and the two coffee drinks was $24. Best deal in town!

Rosemary, however, was interesting. I was worried it'd be too "grassy" or pungent because rosemary is a stronger tasting herb, but to my surprise, super well balanced with its vanilla bean base. Seriously, it was delicious. I'd like to come back for their rose pistachio and lemon meringue pie, if they still have those available. The flavor just wasn't there for me, and I think the recipe could use some work. The biggest downside was the price. My coffee came out to over $13 with tax, which felt very expensive for what I received. Overall, while I appreciate the atmosphere and service, the coffee and pricing don't justify a return visit for me.
