I stumbled across Cheers Coffee while visiting the area, and I'm so glad I did. The moment you walk in, you can tell the owners genuinely care about every little detail. The café is spotless, beautifully designed, and has such a relaxing atmosphere that you instantly want to stay a while instead of grabbing your drink and leaving. The baristas were incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming. They greeted everyone with a smile and made us feel like regulars, even though it was our first visit. You don't see that kind of hospitality very often anymore. The coffee was excellent, and the pastries were just as impressive. We tried the Honey Cake and the Bird's Milk cake, and both were fresh, rich, and absolutely delicious. You can tell they don't cut corners when it comes to quality. As an Armenian, I left with an even bigger smile knowing this place is Armenian-owned. It honestly made me proud to see a local business representing our culture with so much class, warmth, and professionalism. It's a beautiful reflection of Armenian hospitality. We stopped by Cheers some time ago, and it has become a must visit spot every summer when we're in the desert for a few months. From the moment we first walked in, Giselle greeted us with the warmest smile and made an excellent Americano and Spanish latte. Every barista we've encountered has been friendly and welcoming to everyone who walks through the door, creating a great atmosphere. I dig this place. The inside is very open and quiet - good place to sit and do some work or just be alone with your thoughts. Coffee is solid and they have some great snacks and pastries. These guys donated coffee to a charity golf tournament I recently played in, which I appreciated. Anytime I'm over that way I prefer this spot to Startbucks or Koffi - both very close. read more

For some reason, I thought parking was going to be a beast here - so I was initially dreading coming here. BUT! I was wrong! Cheers is located on the "outer" ring of The River, so it's extremely easy to access. There are parking spots right out front - and early on a Saturday morning, I was able to snag a spot straight away. My map took me directly to its location, but in case yours acts up, it's located quite close to the Yard House. Ample indoor seating so you can cozy up for a while. Good selection of teas - I was looking for a black tea, and they carried both English Breakfast and Earl Grey. I appreciate that they actually have "large" sizes that are large. We stopped by Cheers Coffee while visiting the desert and were genuinely very impressed. The shop itself is spacious, clean, beautifully designed, and has a comfortable atmosphere. It feels like the kind of place you could easily hang out for a while, work, or just enjoy a really good coffee. I ordered the Iced Spanish Latte with cold foam, and it was honestly one of the best coffees I've had. Super smooth, perfectly balanced, and the cold foam made it even better. You can tell they care about the quality of what they're serving. The staff was also super welcoming and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Camille was amazing!! From the very beginning to the very end. My family and I received great service. And let me tell you something. Me being a coffee snob, Camille knows how to make the perfect cup of any coffee. I ordered an iced maple pancake latte and it exceeded my expectations. My family ordered different coffee as well and they each loved theirs just like I did. Camille was kind after making them and told us to let her know if we needed any adjustments on our coffees. I used to love this place as a student. I enjoyed the environment to study but now every time I come my WiFi never works. I did some digging and figured that it's because their network won't allow new IP addresses to be given. I told the girls that work here and they didn't seem to understand what I was saying and claimed that because their music plays it's working fine. Although the issue is that it's not allowing new connections. Old ones are fine. I never write reviews but I hope that someone higher up will see this and address the issue. Edit following the owner's response: I'm honestly disappointed by the tone of the owner's response. My original review was not written to attack the employees or suggest that the baristas should be IT technicians. I simply brought up a recurring Wi-Fi issue and tried to explain what appeared to be happening after troubleshooting it myself. When I mentioned it to the employees, I felt that my concern was dismissed because other devices that were already connected were still working. I completely understand that Wi-Fi is complimentary. However, the environment and ability to sit and study are the main reasons I have continued coming here and purchasing drinks. Whether an amenity is complimentary or not, it can still be an important part of a customer's overall experience. I actually would have been completely satisfied with the first paragraph of the owner's response saying that they would look into the issue. Instead, the remainder of the response felt unnecessarily defensive and focused on why my rating was unfair rather than on the concern I was trying to bring to their attention. I also want to clarify that my rating reflects my overall experience, not simply the Wi-Fi. There have been other things I have noticed during previous visits that I chose not to include in my original review because my intention was not to criticize the business. For example, I have personally witnessed the owner snapping his fingers at employees, which made me uncomfortable. I used to genuinely enjoy coming here to study, which is exactly why I took the time to bring the Wi-Fi issue to their attention instead of simply never returning. Unfortunately, the way my concern was handled, followed by this response, has changed how I feel about the business. I don't see myself returning. read more

Right when you walk in you are greeted by the employees--asking if you need help with the menu. Ambiance- The ambiance in here is very spacious and open. Got a latte that had orange in it and it was okay. The coffee was very strong and I couldn't quite taste the orange in it besides when I would get a sniff of the dried orange peel. I was looking for Starbucks and noticed this coffee shop had replaced it. I was bummed at first, but once I stepped in, I was so surprised by how cozy it was! I was looking for a coffee shop that was open past 7pm and found "cheers coffee" a block away from my hotel, I went in and ordered a iced vanilla latte and a Iced Spanish latte with some desert. I believe in giving grace before giving criticism, so I want to be fair in this review. When my fiancée and I entered, the staff was welcoming and friendly. We asked for their most popular drinks and pastries, and they recommended the Caramelo, the Spanish Latte, and both Bistro pastries. While waiting for our drinks, one of the employees began telling us about his experience as a Starbucks barista since he was 16 years old and how amazing the coffee was. Unfortunately, the coffee did not live up to the hype. The coffee flavor was barely noticeable, and the milk had an odd taste. The food experience was even more disappointing. My first bite of the Spinach & Feta Bistro pastry revealed a product that was visibly undercooked. The texture was mushy and appeared raw. My fiancée, who is a professional baker, took it back to the counter to explain the issue. Rather than addressing the concern, the employee argued that the dough was not raw and claimed the texture was from the feta cheese. After some back and forth, he made a sarcastic comment saying, "We can make it for you well done." To make matters worse, the second pastry we ordered was overcooked. When the replacement Spinach & Feta pastry arrived, it was still undercooked. At that point, we decided to leave. I rarely leave negative reviews, but based on both the food quality and how our concerns were handled, I cannot recommend this establishment. read more
