    Pizza détrempée
    Nelly L.

We arrived in the city of Magog, Quebec province, just across the border and stopped in for a bite to eat. This place was mobbed due to the fact that the World Cup finals were on. You could hardly find a seat. The staff was very accommodating and got us seats. We watched the better part of the 2nd half of the soccer final. Chips in vinegar and a brew hit the spot.

"White" sangria. More like spiked OJ.

They did not want to binge on that. like they act they are the only one I town. well, they decided not to reserve and decided to go someplace else in Magog. the Liquor store did not require any deposit, even for 20 peoples. They may be have a great view on the water, but their customer service is pretty bad. We will never attempt to go there.. as a group or as a couple. they lost a potential of 1500$ over rigid rule. Your lost pub!

We left him the choice, because we knew that we were a group and that it might creates inconveniences but Eric told us it was ok and he agreed to push at 7:30pm. When we arrived right on time, eric took me aside and told me that he was not happy because he refused customers, because of us. I was surprised because he agreed to it. Then he told me that my colleagues better be patient because we will wait long for the food. We waited 1 hour and 40 minutes for the appetizers. I went to speak to Eric because we were kind of hungry and he was super defensive, repeated that because of us he lost tables. He was condescendant, very not pleasant. We decided to eat the appetizers and leave. Suddenly, Eric was not around when we left. Very disappointed. We were not welcomed, service was long and attitude of Eric and the waitress was not right on a Customer service stand point. Food was good. But 20 people will never come back to Pub Le Chalet, never again.

I am a born and…read morebred Lennoxviller (or Lennoxviillian?) and have been coming here for as long as I have been of legal drinking age. Yes, the place is a bit of a college pub and the food is no better than average pub food (with the exception of the awesome and MASSIVE chicken wings) but the atmosphere is great. It is a proper locals pub (complete with bar regulars) that oozes character. The sadly rarely open upstairs is a beautiful intimate lounge that has a piano and bay windows while the most often open downstairs is a standard pub but with walls that are covered in old beer cans and bottles as well as old serving trays. If you ever needed to know every advertising slogan from the long gone Dow Brewery, just go to the lion and look at the walls. The patio is also great, right in the centre of Lennoxville, which is a great place to people (and truck) watch. The beer is the real selling point and their major selling point. They have a great variety of brews made next door and the prices are very good. My personal favourite is the Bitter, but that is not for everyone as it will punch you in the face with hoppiness. The most popular is the Pride, an English style Brown ale that ranks with the best Brown's I have had anywhere. The Amber is quite popular as well, but It's not as good as I remember it from my college days, maybe back then I just hadn't tried enough new beers. They also do a good pale ale, that goes down well on a hot day on the patio but I usually prefer the darker beers. They also have seasonal beers as well that are good, including a popular blueberry beer in the summer.
