I've been to Cain Park to utilize their hill/open field area for exercise and really enjoyed it. However, I had no idea how nice of a performance area there was at Cain Park! We recently went to see a concert and opted for lawn seats. We were close enough to the stage and we were happy with the sound quality. As torrential downpours approached, lawn ticket holders were invited into the seating area. We were grateful for the cover during the thunderstorms! Remember that Cain Park concerts take place rain or shine when you purchase your tickets! I liked the lawn seats, but I think I would splurge for an actual seat just to avoid having to sit in the rain in the future. The concession stands at Cain Park are also nice. I really appreciate that they support local breweries and have a number of (reasonably priced) options available. I would go back to see a concert at Cain Park in a heartbeat. What a great venue!

The best place in Cleveland Heights all year round! Lolly Trolley was running and scooped us up from the City Hall and dropped us on the west end of the park. This place is like Blossom on a smaller scale! I was there last week for the Arts Festival and as usual, lucked upon some lovely handmade jewelry. Never a dull moment of artists and expressions, but bring your comfy shoes because it is a Looong walk from one end of the raft booths, past the main stage to the other booths! Terrance Simeon was playing on the big stage with a few accordions and that dazzling smile... and tossing so many beads that I actually danced away with three strands! The weather was perfect, and the park was in full splendor. If you have never visited Cain Park, get there!

I painted rocks at the park today.

What an amazing sunny day for the park. I love Cain park. It's clean and quiet. I love to sit there and read and also people watch. I can't wait until it's warm enough so I can bring my essle and paint. I had wanted to get my nails done. But, the shop was closed. So, I went home and picked up my 3 dogs. They also had a good time.. it was a but chilly, but they laid on the grass and enjoyed the sunshine with me.

I went to the Weird Al concert with my mother last week and we really enjoyed ourselves. The venue is great and it seems there is not a bad seat in the house. The lawn seats seem like a bargain. Cain Park reminds me of a smaller Blossom without any of the parking headaches. I parked down the street from Zagara's and it was a nice 10 minute walk to our seats. I will see one of the greatest songwriters ever perform at Cain Park this Thursday: Kris Kristofferson! I am so excited for the show.

Great venue for concert. The pavilion is small and every seat is good. You can bring in your own food although there is a snack bar serving beer, wine and limited food items. Beautiful park setting and great place to hang out.

    Weird Al concert.

There is a main trail that loops around and borders the lake. Most of the rim there is foliage blocking the view but there are a few open spots and the overlook spot if you want a view of the lake. I would recommend verring onto the Northern Harrier Trail which was our favorite. Felt very whimsical with all of the wildflowers and deer. This is an excellent spot for birding. Saw a few groups with binoculars. I broke our my bird call app and had dozens of birds identified that we then tried to find. Very fun! The trail itself is pretty short but it's worth doing a few laps if you've got the time. Or taking it really slow to soak it up. There is large parking lot available. Google maps takes you right to it.

There's a small bench with a partial view of the water--pleasant peaceful. The trail itself is flat and easy, though the lake is mostly hidden behind a solid wall of brush there are a few spots w nice views. Still, it was quiet, uncrowded, and gave us what we wanted: a short, peaceful stroll without any surprises. Mission accomplished.

George V. Voinovich Bicentennial Park…read more This park is an absolute gem in Cleveland--peaceful, beautiful, and full of character. Voinovich Bicentennial Park sits right along Lake Erie, offering stunning panoramic views of the water. On a clear day, you're actually facing Canada, which lies just across the lake--how cool is that? Out in the water, there's a long rock barrier (part of the harbor breakwall system) that adds a coastal, serene feel to the entire landscape. When I visited, there was a live opera performance happening right in the park, which made the experience feel even more special. You can sit on the grass or along the cement steps, which makes it a great spot for a picnic, sunset-watching, or just relaxing near the water. There are often events held here, so it's worth checking the schedule if you're visiting--though honestly, just showing up might surprise you with something fun. The atmosphere is open and vibrant, but still calm and clean. You'll also find: * Boat rentals nearby if you want to get on the water * Restaurants right along the shore * Hotels with waterfront views, all within walking distance The park itself is well-maintained, clean, and has lots of visual interest, including ships docked nearby and big open views of the lake and sky. I visited in the evening, and the sunset over the water was absolutely breathtaking--a perfect end to the day. I can't wait to come back and spend more time here. Whether you're a local or just visiting, this is one of those spots that makes you stop, take a deep breath, and just enjoy where you are.
