The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that some horrible person let their dog poop in the aisle and didn't pick it up! I understand dog friendly, but if you bring a dog, bring a baggie! The store itself is fantastic and the employees are really super nice and friendly, we felt the Southern hospitality in the air and from the people in line and "line" in bold letters and slow moving line that is, we waited and waited and the line wasn't moving but will try to rate PetVet on a separate review because that may not be the store's fault or is it? This store looks clean, organized and well supplied, I need to comeback and look around to see what they have, I wish the Summerville store would be like this. I know now why the name and there is really a few items that I didn't find in a hardware store and I ended up ordering from Amazon at a premium. Long drive but it may be worth it if I make another stop at a wholesaler nearby. 21 stars to the store and it's employees (not management) 3 stars to PetVet, good service but very slow got there at 10 and got out at 11:30 and there were still 15 pets behind us and we were 5th in line and PetVet doesn't list an address and is operated by VIP-petcare, no address or phone number either and for that reason the ultimate responsible is the Tractor Supply management that should get only four stars for the lack of responsible party on your grounds.

I initially went to this location hoping to locate air filters for my air conditioning vents but I was advised by a store employee that they did not sell that item. For me personally the store just felt sort of like it lacked organization. There was signage however I felt like their was no logical explanation of the store layout, basically I felt like I was just wondering around waiting to see what I stumbled upon. I'm accustomed to the Home Depot or Lowe's layout where things sort of seem a little more organized and grouped together appropriately. Overall the prices seemed comparable to what you might find in a local hardware store. The employee that I spoke with answered my question but did not go out of his way to exude customer service or appear warm and fuzzy but was not rude or anything, just straight to the point. Overall It's not a bad place to grab home or garden items if you are in the area.

The store is small (compared to others) which means less of a selection. Also they are always out of the brand of horse feed we use. We are constantly asking if they can get more in, however they don't seem interested in keeping more (than the 3 or 4 bags that fit on the shelf) in stock for us.
