Lastly, we had the honor of asking Caitlin to join us again for our big wedding day. Having never shot Ebell Long Beach in her career, we were shocked at her professionalism and knowledge when she interacted with our wedding planner. For example, she not only knew what time sunset was going to be on our big day, but how the sunset would affect the lighting at our venue - which has large buildings that cast shadows quite trickily at odd hours. Caitlin was a pro, however, ensuring our joyful photos were still captured on a sweaty, bright summer Saturday. She did not once express exhaustion - she was peppy, full of inspiration as she coverage all 8 hours of our wedding. We are certain we are going to find some amazing shots despite having picked a smaller photography package. She was everywhere, swiftly moving me or my wedding team to optimize our photo time. Not to mention with the 5 (!!) other cameras she carried around her belt to make sure she caught your right moment with the right camera. And, as you can predict, she was a hit with all 11 children in my wedding party. She even cracked smiles out of them as she brought out a very cranky and hot flower girl in particular. We couldn't haven't asked for a better photographer than Caitlin. We were looking for a new family photographer to take our last family photos as a family of three and I am SO glad I found Caitlin. I had the pleasure of working with Caitlin for a mini personal branding photoshoot. She was helpful and communicative before the session in giving advice on the best colors to wear given the studio background and answering any questions I had. During the photoshoot, even though it was hard for me to feel settled within such a short space of time and I felt unsure that any photos could even possibly come out okay given how nervous and awkward I felt, wow, there was a huge collection of great photos for me to choose from afterwards! I was impressed at the range we were able to capture within just a few minutes. We even got to have some fun with her photographing me in action painting on a canvas - during a 15-minute shoot! She makes you feel instantly comfortable in front of the camera, and made our engagement shoot so playful and so "us". Our engagement pictures were everything we wanted, and more! I've been following Caitlin on Instagram for the last year or so and love her work! My fiancé originally had a different photographer booked for our proposal, but he cancelled and fell through. My fiancé reached out to Caitlin with less than a weeks notice and she was able to fit it into her schedule! She knew I followed her and went "incognito" in sunglasses, a hat, and of course a mask so that I wouldn't recognize her haha! She was so great and the pictures are STUNNING! She made Tom and I comfortable and we had lots of laughs which came through in the pictures. She even got great photos of Tom which can sometimes be a challenge as he gets awkward in front of the camera lol. I couldn't recommend her enough! We found Caitlin through a friend and we are SO glad we chose her as our photographer for our maternity shoot! Before the shoot, she was extremely communicative and offered several suggestions for places to shoot in the area. She was so professional and prepared -- she scouted out the location beforehand and knew exactly where we to capture perfect shots in order to maximize time, which was so helpful since we were in the mountains with little to no service. On the day, it was cold and extremely windy in the mountains and I was certain all of the photos would turn out terrible because our hair and bangs were flying EVERYWHERE. She made us feel super comfortable during the shoot despite the less than ideal weather, and sent us a few sneak peeks within a day. We were blown away by the shots that were captured!
