Not only is there EVERY kind of cake flavor you could imagine available to choose from, but the actual cake tasting hugely impressed all of us including my very hard to impress father. We used real flowers from our florist, The Blooming Idea, on the bridal cake and the groom's cake was in the shape of a Titliest golf ball!!! Super professional, well-priced, TASTY, warm, and easy to work with are only some of the adjectives to describe Cheryl. I WILL be using her again for future events!

The lemon and raspberry was over the top fantastic!!! I told her to expect an email from me every year. Thank you so very much for helping to make my goddaughter's 1st Birthday something special.

Cake Conspiracy created the cake for my wedding, and it was perfect! It was beautiful and looked exactly the way I wanted it to look. Plus, it was so delicious! I ordered the 'classic birthday' flavor, which is white vanilla cake with chocolate buttercream between the layers. Everyone loved it! On top of all of that, they were excellent with communication, and always responded very promptly, and were professional and courteous. On pretty short notice Cake Conspiracy was able to make a rainbow layer cake with buttercream frosting and fondant decoration to serve about 30 people and a smash cake for my son. The design was spot on what I requested and the cake was very moist and delicious. I got several inquiries about who made the cake. I was looking for a bakery for a 25th wedding anniversary.....it was no easy endeavor locating one when I lived out of town. Finally I found Cake Conspiracy. Cheryl responded to my e-mail promptly, and time was of an essence. Her choices are many. I looked at the menu and found the perfect cake. From the very first, she responded to my e-mail, text or phone message in a timely manner. Found Cake Conspiracy at the last minute because I am super picky about presentation and attention to detail but it has to taste incredible too. I have lived in The Woodlands for 18 years and feel like I am making some form of compromise with all the other bakeries in the area. All I can say is I will ONLY order from her in the future! She did an outstanding job on my wedding cake. It looked just like I wanted, and she also made an additional sheet cake. The cakes were DELICIOUS!! I had someone at the wedding tell me they don't normally like cake, but they actually had 2 pieces they loved it so much. I had the amaretto icing with a fresh strawberry buttercream filing. If I ever need a cake again while I'm in the Houston area this is DEFINITELY my go to place! read more

History

Established in 2012.

Cake Conspiracy began unnamed in 2000, simply as a way to provide cakes for friends and family. Over the course of the next decade, it remained a part time hobby all the while raising a family and pursuing other career paths. In 2011, with the passage of the Texas Cottage Food Bill I was able to fully commit to my dream of providing beautiful cakes to the public. I am a self taught cake artist who relentlessly seeks out new methods and techniques to expand my portfolio through experience.

Their nickname is "crack brownies" and they are bags of cube-shaped brownies covered in powdered sugar. One-of-a-kind is hard to come by and these are the star of the show. I do not like most mushrooms and didnt know this before coming but I still liked the coffee, as it seemed a little less heavy than traditional coffee for some reason. They have a decent food selection consisting of pastries and house-made latin/american dishes ranging from homemade chips and guacamole to Chilequiles. Note that all food is either vegetarian or vegan. The theme of the place is artisenal Latin/Mexican. If you dine in, you will receive your cold drink in a tall ceramic mug/cup most likely in an Aztec/Mexican style, while the hot drinks will be served in a mug and the food is served on festive plates. They play light Latin music in the background. They don't really advertise their syrups if you come in for an iced latte like me, but basically any of their artisanal coffees can be made iced or cold and you can choose from any of those ingredients/syrups in those choices to flavor your own custom latte. I also added a slice of banana bread from the pastry case adjacent to the register. The alchemist - a pretty light tasting latte with obvious notes of cinnamon. I liked it. Banana bread - more like a triple slice of bread. Its gluten free and very dense. A little on the dry side, obviously. Overall, I can see why they're highly rated. I was so pleased with my husbands birthday cake.....it was beautiful. I had loads of comments about how lovely it looked. I choose lemon sponge and cream cheese filling with fondant.
