Had services over a year ago and started having problems when our technician would only spray the front of our house. Each time we were due for service we would receive a note on our door saying the gate was locked (when indeed we made sure to leave it unlocked.) Discontinued services because this happened on multiple occasions. Even went as far as leaving the gate OPEN one time and still received the same note about a "locked gate." read more

We recently contacted Cal King Pest Control after several weeks of unsuccessful attempts to rid our home of roof rats which had found their way into our attic. Our previous Pest Control company, even though we had the nicest young man around, and we did enjoy him a lot! was not doing a anything to eradicate the issue. We just had to do something, the smell, the constant scratching noise was driving us cra-cra-crazy! The owner came out, met with us. He walked the property, gave us some advise which we acted upon and then he sent out his man Steve... oh boy, oh joy! one visit from Steve and the rats were running down the side of the house, along the fence to the field in in the back! my neighbor is going to sign up with them also! No sale pitch, straightforward reasonable prices that speaks for itself. Just be sure you read the fine print they do yearly contracts which I don't mind but other may not and to end early will be charged a fee. I contacted for my rat situation at my house and after setting up, they already had someone coming by to set traps, spray, etc soon after. They are very knowledgeable and helpful to help with whatever pest situation you will have, mine being rats. Office has great customer service when calling to request traps to be replaced or bait box to be refilled. Overall great company and great service. read more

Cal King came out right away to give estimate, provided extremely reasonable price for indoor & outdoor spraying and we decided to sign a year contract because of the price. We have them come out every 2 months and with that any time in between that you need extra service they will come out for free. Dale is the best and very friendly and he even knocks down your cobwebs! Our house was infested with ants when we moved in and I tried every brand of pesticides I could find. Dale came out and by that afternoon there were no more ants. Price seemed competitive with the others that I asked. read more

Worst customer service ever. Literally the owner hung up on me when I returned home to find they hadn't done what they said they were going to do. I was told my house would be fumigated and my yards would be sprayed for fleas. When I asked why it wasn't fumigated, he told me I had too many things remaining in my house, OK fair enough. But yet why confirm with me upon the inspection of my home prior stating "it shouldn't be a problem, we'll call you if there is an issue." Those were his exact words. No call, I was under the full expectation it was fine and was going to be done. I feel like I wasted two days of my life, and so much extra work for me to move things out and cover everything for nothing. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. Such unprofessional conduct and plain childish attitude when I simply stated I was upset they didn't do as they were hired to do. To top it off the guy insulted me saying I hadn't done as they instructed me to, such as removing things from the home. It's nearly impossible to dang near move out for a day and I prepped it pretty well. And excuse me but your instructional consultation of a whole five minutes wasn't very informative. All in all this has been the worst experience I've ever had with a so called "professional" in my entire life. Not to mention I now have to do this all over again, with a real exterminator. Can't be more displeased than I am with Cal King Pest Control. HUGE THUMBS DOWN. Look elsewhere for your services. read more

We called King pest control back in November to take care of ant problem. We were pleasantly surprised when they said that A follow-up appointment would be free. This was good because the first appointment actually made the problem worse. Fast forward a few months later, we get a call from king saying they'd be coming back out, and we told them we didn't need their services at this time. We were then told that we'd entered into a year long contract with them. I go back to look at the invoice I'd signed, and sure enough, there was fine print that we would be required to use their services for a year. I think it is very shady to not inform people verbally of this. We only needed a couple treatments and would never have hired them for a full year. I thought I was signing for services rendered that day. The service man never once mentioned we were entering a contract. That's just plain bad business. read more
