Terrible. If I could post zero stars I would. What was suppose to be a simple procedure caused a lot of pain. When I followed up a year later to repair what he did, the Dr said to my face that he did not do what I was asking him to fix. Lied to my face that he did not do it and would not help on that visit. Receptionist then lied to me that she would call with an upcoming appointment. She never did. I wasted 2 months waiting. There are a lot of dentists out there. Avoid this one. Or suffer. read more

Dr Feiz and his staff are great! I have many teeth problems and so far, they seem to be able to fix any of my problems. I want to highlight GRACIE, the front office receptionist/insurance services person/ amazing patient advocate! I have dual dental insurance (mine and my husband's). Gracie spends many hours working on my billing and trying to get payment from one of these insurance plans that seems to take forever to pay. She seems to have the patience of a saint. She is so pleasant, not only with me, but with everyone that she encounters, whether on the phone or in person! Dr Feiz messed up on my Crown and I had been in pain since he did the Crown! the office also loves to do tons of X-ray. They charged my insurance for things which was not even done! Over all very bad experience! stay away from this dentist! read more

I just started going to Calabasas Dental Group. The overall experience was real good. Everyone is super nice and accommodating. I had a tooth bonded that was almost down to nothing. He did such a fantastic job, it looks just like my tooth. Usually, the color is a little off or it feels and looks a lot different, not with this tooth. I really recommend them for everything. I also got a real good cleaning. They were also real nice and understanding. They didn't make me feel bad for not being to the dentist for over a year. Don't choose this office! Worst experience ever! First of all, the front desk lady is terrible. She (Anna) is impatient and unprofessional. Once I had an appointment and when I got there 15 min in the office, the office is CLOSED! There's never a confirmation/reminder of your appointment. And every time I call to schedule/confirm my appointment, Anna is super impatient and just can't wait to hang up on you. Secondly, the price is way higher than other dental offices. I once wanted to have an implant and they charged almost $6000 for it, where the other office only charges half of it ($3000). All in all, this is the worst office I've ever visited in LA and I DON'T recommend this office. read more

I had a horrible experience with this office. Found the office staff to be terribly rude and without an ounce of compassion for the patients as I witnessed a confrontation between the office manager and a patient in serious pain. My young daughters were with me in the waiting room and witnessed this display. I left with my traumatized children and never returned. They charged me a late fee for my children's appointments. I was so disgusted by this office that I filed a complaint with my insurance company. The dental hygenist was the one bright light and the only friendly staff member I encountered. I just had my teeth polished here (a check-up i guess) and I thought they did a lovely job. I've been going here for a year and a half because it's closest to my work. My boss is actually paying for my dental work so i can't really complain about it. They do call you 24 hours before and have a 48 hour cancellation rule. Although I wouldn't rely soley on them calling, maybe write it down or set up a reminder for 50 hours before your appointment so you can skip the $30 cancellation fee.... The dental work they do is great though. I have definitely had some cavities that they have fixed and everything is virtually painless. The staff is really friendly. I have been a patient of Dr. Feiz for over 10 years. He and his staff are always professional and extremely friendly. Dr Fiez, discusses procedures in terms of what should be done, what can be done and what not to waste time on. He never pressures you into any procedure, just gives you the facts for you to make an informed decision. The office is always clean and neatly kept, I have never had to wait more than 5-6 minutes upon arrival and they have always been very flexible with my crazy schedule. First things first, when you sit down in a dentist's chair and you can hear a guy screaming in pain from across the hall - beware! Nah, I think he might of just been a wuss but still, it definitely put me on edge. I mean it's an open floor plan and I can see the patient in the next room/cubicle/whatever it is. I give it 2 stars because I've had better. I was the first cleaning appointment of the day and it took an hour and the cleaning only took 15-20 minutes. I was waiting a while. That and they try to upsell you on everything. The dentist asked me about getting braces. I've never had any other dentist mentioned that to me before (I've had more than 4 dentists in my life). He knew a great orthodontist covered by my insurance *wink *wink. No thanks! They wanted to do Irrigation (not covered by insurance) for like over $200! Yeah right! Like I'm going to pay you $200 to irrigate my mouth when I could buy an irrigator for $50-$60, buy the Chlorhexidine that you tried to sell me later for $20 (decent price), and do it myself for less than half the price. No thanks! Need mouthwash? They'll sell it to you. On the plus side they did clean my teeth and my insurance required no copay. read more

Typical HMO shop. My husband went in for his initial checkup and xrays so we could schedule our annual cleaning appointments. Now, let this be said, my husband's mouth is not in good shape, but less than a year ago, we paid over $1,000 for deep cleanings that were done by quadrant and were very thorough, which was absolutely medically necessary. He had his first visit and to our surprise, they said he needed a deep cleaning for $290 in typical up-sell HMO shop fashion. When I called to change the appointment to a routine cleaning, the receptionist said that they wouldn't cover the appointment if we "went against the doctor's recommendations". Awful business practices - if you're going to be an HMO shop, then be prepared to provide the covered services. I understand that the second we walk in the door, they lose money, but they chose to accept HMO insurance and that is the risk they take. Shameful. We will gladly pay out of pocket for my husband's cleaning at another practice. Avoid at all costs unless you like being scammed. read more

Terrible experiences, even before I get to meet with the dentist. They cancelled my appointment at the very last minute of their office hours the day before the appointment, and when I got the message and called back right away, they were already closed. When I tried to reschedule the next day, the office staff was very rude. The only reason they gave me was that the dentist "would not be in for the day." She seems to overlook the fact that the office would actually charge patients if canceling within 24 hours. Also, the office sometimes close earlier than their official office hours. Thanks to the office staff, I ended up canceling all appointments for the rest of families, and will never go see them ever. Good job keeping customers away. Dr. Feiz has been my dentist for over ten years and I've always been treated well by everyone there. Dental cleaning and treatment have always been gentle. I ask lots of questions and I've always gotten answers and explanations I could understand. I've declined offered treatment, such as x-rays and cosmetic dentistry to repair a chipped front tooth. After explaining why I didn't want cosmetic dentistry, they let it go. However, they continued to tell me why x-rays would be helpful given my likelihood of bone loss, until I agreed to occasional x-rays. I think those patient explanations were helpful and I appreciated them. read more

Dr. Feiz has helped me with emergency care, always is available for questions, guides me through maintaining dental health and avoiding issues, and makes his recommendation on optional care, then leaves it to me to decide. Plus, Jessie, the receptionist, is a joy to deal with, along with the entire dental health care team. I am surprised by the bad reviews. They do not comport with my experience. I have been with Dr. Feiz for what might be 15 years (or maybe it just feels like 15 years). He has always given me compassionate and frank assessments of my dental heath. When he shares a concern, he fully explains and lays out possible courses of action - some I have taken, some I have deferred, and some I have flat out said no thank you. I have never felt pressured to do one thing or another, but I have always felt I was able to make the best decision for my current needs because Dr. Feiz and his staff would explain all the options and the risks involved. Dr. Feiz and his staff have earned the trust I have for them. I have had multiple problems throughout my time with Dr. Feiz and I have never once been judged, made to feel any blame or shame, looked down upon, marginalized, or told I was making the wrong decision. I know they are there for me because fifteen years is just too long to fake something. His staff (and he) are very pleasant. They make a potentially stressful trip so much less stressful. They are always asking me about my comfort during the examination or while work is being done. This is the most consistent considerate care I have ever gotten from any medical provider. They have never refused to answer any of my questions. If I have a request, they usually bend over backwards to do it if they can. I am very happy with the consistent and compassionate care I have received from Dr. Feiz and his staff. read more

My children and I have been going to calabasas dental for over a decade. Dr Feiz is very polite, knowledgeable and his office is clean. After so many years, things have taken a turn for the worst. The front office staff has changed. The lady they have working on Wednesday's has no social skills, no customer service etiquette, and quite frankly is very rude with her blunt tone and awful body language. In a business where people have varying levels of care needed there is no gentleness in her manner. The other person they have the remaining days of the week is less than satisfactory as well, but not quite as bad as the other. Plan to ask questions and call others for answers because you won't get anything other than a one or two word answer from her. I honestly felt like I wasn't in a dentists office with her, more like a used car sales lot. Keep in mind that unlike years prior, there is no longer lienincy in breaking up payments (since most dental work is costly). After so many years, one would think we would have earned that at the very least. I'll be taking my family elsewhere. Plenty of great dentists staffed with PROFESSIONAL front office staff. read more
