Be aware of people selling "fresh oysters" when you arrive there. They're often not fresh and not worth the risk. Also, the shops have different prices so walking your way towards calderada da irene (o) will most definitely be worth it. Vendors approach you saying they have the best prices and whatnot, since their shops are closer, but don't allow yourself to be fooled.
The food served here is out of this world, the place might have some flyes here and there but hey, it's Brazil afterall. I dreamed about eating here again, and I had to drive an hour away from my hotel to get here and it was totally worth it! The drive may be a little tricky but you can definitely figure it out, just have the GPS help you out. read more
