The initial person that greeted me was kind and charismatic, but once handed off to the guy that would actually help me, he examined my ring, called it a knock off, and when corrected that my husband designed the ring, he rolled his eyes and gave me a ya ok. Once rung up for getting my ring fixed I didn't feel like I had much choice. My rings were already taken and bagged up to be shipped off to wherever they outsource to. I was $165 deep. I wasn't shocked by that price, but once they gave me the itemized receipt I was. The diamond itself was $15!!! How the hell do you get to $165 from there? Swindling and being robbed in front of your face. I hate this place. I wouldn't have even gone in the first place, but there are so few trustworthy jewelers in the area. I will be looking elsewhere next time I have jewelry needs. Whatever you do, don't go there expecting to be treated with respect unless you come draped in diamonds and looking like you have a bag of cash.

The store is so cute and inviting. Located right on Frederick Road in downtown Catonsville, there is plenty of street parking in the area. The staff at CCL are welcoming and helpful, directing you to the area of the shop for either permanent jewelry or the charm bar to create charm jewelry. I've only done the permanent jewelry so far, which is all displayed nicely on a large table in the center of the store - this gives you a chance to look at the different styles and decide what you like. The staff is also super helpful in offering guidance or opinions on what would look best - either for new permanent jewelry or adding to an existing stack. Once you've picked out what you'd like, the staff then measures and makes sure the jewelry fits well. Overall, I have had multiple great experiences at CCL, and will continue to return.
