He had prescribed a medication that was effective, but made her unable to sleep. So he also prescribed a sleep medication. She wasn't comfortable being in a drugged heavy sleep every night, because she has an infant and a preschooler at home, so she stopped taking both medications. Her problems returned and became unmanageable, so she called to see if he would take her back as a patient, and he refused. Even though she explained the severity of her problem. This is a young mother. She needed his compassion and help, and instead he is not helping her because she went against his advice, out of concern for her children. This lack of empathy is something I would not want anyone who is having a hard time to have to deal with, and let's face it, people seeking help for a mental health issue are having a hard time.

They can't legally do it for all cards. Surcharges for using visa and Mastercard DEBIT is illegal under federal law regardless of whether it's processed as debit or credit.
