Alan came today from Active and after troubleshooting the Furnace it was determined that the very loud buzzing noise was being created by too large of a filter, which was completely the wrong size and much too thick, which was causing the motor to overheat and causing the very loud buzzing. My neighbor installed the filter two weeks ago and installed the wrong size. Active Heating & Cooling solved the issue in 15 minutes today and did not even accept a service charge. The entire service call and solving the issue was done completely for free. They said they want long-term relationships and referrals and are not about making a quick buck. This would also require another camera charge. I was fine with it because I wanted a working dryer. Turns out, the thing blocking the the vent was just lint and when they found that out they were apologetic and made sure to get the job done right this time with no extra charge. I can say that nobody is perfect but you can count on this business to make it right if they make any mistakes!
