I made an appointment for a friend and I to get tattoos while we were on vacation a week ahead of time. No one showed up. I called and texted, haven't heard anything back. It's very frustrating that this was our one window to get the tattoos we wanted and they didn't bother to cancel our appointment beforehand. A waste of time on our vacation.

If I can rate this place a ZERO I would, I've had my tattoo for over a year now and I honestly can say this was the worst experience ever for it being my FIRST tattoo! They guy "Smiley" fucked me up for life! Have you ever heard of a blowout? Me neither, until I got one myself. He was heavy handed while tattooing he went to deep Into my skin and caused the ink to spread. It's very sad and embarrassing! It's been a year and I honestly wish I'd never gotten a tattoo from this place!

They were kid friendly (we had our toddler with us, and others had their kids there as well). All three of us were in and out within 3 hours, which was far better than the 6+ at our other shop. And the work was amazing! Sebastian was chill! We are definitely coming back for other work we've been wanting to get :)

Jesse Hernandez is the absolute worst. He's a liar and an a**hole who can't even keep his promises. When I saw his artwork online, I thought he was amazing. When I looked up his profile, I thought he was a chill guy. Ha! Don't believe everything you see on the internet kids. Seriously, the butthole is so desperate for money he lies about when he'll give it back, then ignores you when the day comes. I originally asked him for a back tattoo. He told me his price, $150 an hour. But he wanted $300 upfront. Just to make sure I'd show. I said cool. But he claimed he didn't know how long it would take to complete. He said he'd only do realism, which is totally understandable. So I sent him a phoenix which he seemed happy to do. The next day, he confirms it was a phoenix but wasn't happy about the hibiscus flower at the end. So we agreed to remove it. Fast fowarding: we got into a bit of a disagreement. I simply wanted the tattoo from the picture and he wasn't too happy about it but agreed. On the day before the tattoo he told me to bring cash. I told him idk how much to bring because he never said how long it would take. He claimed I'd be there 11+ hours. Something that should have been said the first day we spoke. I said, I couldn't afford it and he was UPSET!. He claimed I wasted his time and that I should have thought about my budget before coming to him. I knew it was going to be about $800, maybe $1000 but not $2000+. He went on and on about being a professional business man and so forth. And because I made him cancel on everyone else that "supposedly" reach out, he was keeping $150. He agreed to return the other half, but he has yet to do so. He's been avoiding me. It makes me wonder if I can sue to get the full amount back.

Amazing work by Trip!!! Specializes in all styles of tattoos!!! But his script work is the best in the game!!!!!

Andres is an amazing artist! My husband & I will ONLY use him. He is thorough with his work, nice, & friendly. He recently did a cover up of an old tattoo I had, & it looks like I never even had the old tattoo before. It is amazing how naturally talented some people can be at their profession. The location has a cool ambience & style to it as well. It is very close to Disneyland, which I'm sure can draw in a cool tourist crowd. Thanks again Andres! This place has some really good vibes the staff is great they really make you feel comfortable on what you want and don't judge at all. My best friend got a lip tattoo and a lot of places don't do it. And they were more than glad to do it. They are super friendly and want to make you have a good time when your their would definitely recommend getting inked here. read more

Jesse Hernandez is the absolute worst. He's a liar and an a**hole who can't even keep his promises. When I saw his artwork online, I thought he was amazing. When I looked up his profile, I thought he was a chill guy. Ha! Don't believe everything you see on the internet kids. Please don't go with this guy Louie he starts tattoos but doesn't finish them, The worst thing is that he'll act like he is but then hide from you once he has your money, I'm not hating on this place because I love the owner Sebastian if you could get a tattoo, you have to get it from him! read more

Walking Distance From Disneyland!!! This is the spot your looking for if you want a good quality tattoo with a great environment and experience. Sebastian will take care of you. Not only is it next to Disneyland, but the store under is a cool smoke shop and they have a Mexican spot across the street that is bomb LOL talk about a GOOD LOCATION. Bad service, you don't get what you pay for.... horrible experience. I got ripped off after paying 280 for someone who refused to finish my tattoo. They cancelled on me 2 times, on the 3rd scheduled appt, I had stomach issues and still went in because I didn't want to cancel and took the guy a gift for his daughter because he said it had just passed and that's why he cancelled on one occasion. The first time he had a blown tire, I offered to uber him so I can keep my appt. All in all I tried accommodating them and got a big F you in the end. Super disappointed! This was over a year ago. Just try to say forget it. read more

I have been here a few times and have had Louie help me each time. I cannot express how amazing I think he is!! His art is beautiful and he is clearly gifted. I live about a half hour-45 minutes away, but wouldn't go anywhere else. The atmosphere is super chill and the artists are great. I couldn't imagine someone walking out unhappy with their experience and their tattoo. Call them to set an appointment and ask for my boy Louie! I'm sure I'll be there again soon read more

Got a tattoo from Jared Shaw a couple days ago and I'm beyond pleased with how it came out, also with my over all experience here. Since I walked in the door I was greeted instantly, and everyone I had the pleasure of conversing with while there, was so kind. From the very first message, the entire experience was incredibly smooth and pleasant. MJ was highly communicative leading up to our appointment date. I had a lot of ideas, and she was extremely patient and accommodating as we went back and forth on styles. She even had me come in for a quick, in-person consultation beforehand, which was fantastic because it made collaborating and aligning our visions face-to-face so much easier. On the day of the session, the process was amazing. MJ constantly checked in to ensure I was comfortable. She has a remarkably light hand, there were moments where it felt like nothing at all. I highly recommend MJ, especially if you are looking for traditional abstract brushstroke work, though her talent and professionalism make it clear she can adapt to whatever style you throw her way. The girls there were great and explained the whole process, despite being packed, they were definitely cool, chill and provided great customer service. My kids were getting piercings and I was getting a small tattoo. Once it was our turn to go in, we made our payment and waited for a few more minutes. For my tattoo GinaVee was my artist that night and she was awesome. Tattoo placement was perfect. As for piercings Travis was their piercer and I have to say that every single staff member were still courteous and gave good vibes overall. Cleanliness overall 10/10 Now as for most recent visit, I had scheduled an appointment with tattoo artist Apolo for mom & daughter tattoo sesh. It was my daughter's first tattoo and he made her feel comfortable and was very professional. She was looking for a specific color to get done and Apolo did give a suggestion in regards the color due to skin color. My daughter took suggestion and Apolo did some color mixing and was able to get a color to her liking. Now it was my turn to get inked and for me, this was not first time obviously but it was my first time getting tattooed by Apolo. Again, he makes you feel comfortable and is professional. I felt he was done in a blink of an eye with both me and my daughter. I mean it was a small tattoo but only because I didn't want my daughter to do something bigger being that it was her first tattoo. I did schedule with Apolo again for February. The locker room is luxurious with lots of amenities, including 2 showers (they have on-wall shampoo/conditioner/body wash), 3 bathroom stalls, 1 steam room, oodles of lockers which have your robe and rubber slipper shoes and space to put all your stuff during your treatment, and all of the self-care goodies near the 2 sinks (mouthwash, body lotion, makeup remover, hair spray and gel, clean combs and brushes, an aromatherapy machine) as well as flavored water. They use nice towels to dry your hands, and they have body towels if you take a shower. The lounge space is co-ed, with loungers, chairs, 2 flavored waters, 2 types of small bite-size pastries (blueberry bread and cranberry orange scones), and they offered me hot tea. The wall nearby appears to be stained-glass. Wowsers, what an experience. It's absolutely worth it. Spend the money on yourself, indulge, and you will never regret it. After getting work done by Sabastian Roman I know for sure that I have found my permeant tattooist!! He was able to bring my tattoos to life!! I now have a total of 3 by Sabastian and I'm getting ready for the next one from him, which hopefully will be this month :), cause I think one a month will work out good ;)!! He makes you feel comfortable, relaxed and treats you like a friend not just an other customer. I can just go on and on about the tattoos he's done trust me when I say I do!! Let me start off by saying that I've been getting tattooed by bowser for over 8 years now. I've followed him from shop to shop and honestly cali culture is hands down the illest. Everyone treats you there with mad respect and love. Feel at home and get tattooed in a chill spot with killer music. I even enjoy being there and just hanging out. I never feel out of place down at cali culture tattoos, the vibe is always good and everybody is welcoming to the fullest. My artist (bowser) @kingkoopa_cs is highly recommended in my personal opinion and has done some amazing work on me that is living proof, not to mention a whole cover up sleeve that you wouldn't even know was covered but every artist there has amazing work and talent that any tattoo related need can be taken care of. I did need to cancel my original appointment early the morning a day prior due to being ill with GG, and I was informed I would need to place another deposit. I agreed and specifically asked whether that additional deposit would apply toward the tattoo, and I was told that it would. When I arrived for the rescheduled appointment, I was told it did not apply and that this had been communicated via text. After reviewing the messages, I did not see that clarification reflected. I did not argue because I respected her and complied. I also want to note that I was not made aware of any written shop policy regarding deposits in this situation. Based on the wording of the conversation, it came across that the additional deposit was for accountability due to the late cancellation, rather than that the original deposit would no longer count toward the tattoo. It's also worth mentioning that policy isn't anywhere nor was communicated to me. During the session, the artist stopped partway through because she wasn't feeling well, which I completely understand and respect. However, once the tattoo healed (it has now been over a month), I noticed visible shakiness in the linework, inconsistent line weight, and areas of blowout that were not apparent initially. I want to be clear that I genuinely love the tattoo concept itself, my concern is specifically with the execution. I paid a significant amount for the piece, and while I am not seeking a refund, as nice as that'd be, I was disappointed by the technical quality of the finished linework. Especially receiving a tattoo from this artist before and it being absoloutely amazing. So trust was broken there as well. As it healed I didn't really notice at first how poorly done it was. So later, when I reached out to book my next tattoo, I did not receive a response and noticed I was blocked from viewing the artist's stories, which made the lack of communication feel exclusionary and unprofessional. My intention in this review isn't to place blame, but to ask for acknowledgment. I value transparency, especially with permanent work. I paid quite a bit for very very poorly done healed work. It ended up being over $250+.
