Got my first tattoo here last Wednesday by Drew and he did amazing work. I was definitely a bit nervous due to the placement but he provides a comfortable environment and he really pays attention to the detail of his work with precision. You can tell he's passionate about what he does. Honestly, I don't plan on going to any other tattoo artist after having such a positive experience. Prices are very fair and the work is great. If you decide to go here, I would ask for Drew!
This was my first time in this tattoo shop ( not my 1st tatoo). I connected with Paul and sent him a picture of what I wanted, he made some suggestions and tweeks, and I made an apt for the same day. The shop was very clean, awesome music. Paul and I worked together with the stenciling design & he got started. He is very patient, kind, and an amazing artist, I absolutely love my new piece,everyone in their was so cool & we had great conversation. So if you're looking for a new artist or shop, look no further, Paul & the other artists are beyond talented & creative; you will not be disappointed.
This is long overdue... About 2 years ago, a coworker of mine were chatting when I asked him about his ink. He told me his artist is up near his house in Orange. I live down in San Diego and I was a little hesitant to venture up. My coworker had an appointment one day and asked if I wanted to kick it afterwards. So I figured, "why the hell not?" When I got up I met up with Mike Ortiz. He was pretty friendly and I really liked the art up on his wall. Over time I shot him a few messages about some ideas and pulled the trigger on getting a sleeve done. (went pretty big for first ink. haha) And it turned out pretty damn fine. Bold lines and a slick design. I get asked about my tats all the time at work, from friends, and even some family members. About a year later I came in again and the homie hooked it up with a pretty sick reaper on my inner left forearm. Mike shows some true work and I am grateful to have him as an artist and a homie. Definitely worth the money and 2-3 hour drive. I highly recommend getting some work done by Mike Ortiz *I forgot to add this part of the story* (I am so sorry Nate, please forgive me. haha) Around the last session for my sleeve I was eyeing this piece framed across the room. It was done by Nathan Yoon. I kept telling Mike that I really liked that one and he suggested to get it done that same day because Nate had a a some time to burn until his next appointment. So I did. I also asked to get some roman numerals put underneath it and he was like " for sure". He got his station prepared and had several sizes of the piece and number for me to choose. He banged it out pretty quickly and it is pretty dope. I would also recommend getting some stuff done by Nate. Dude is cool.
Hands down the best shop I've had the pleasure of visiting. Overall great vibe, amazing artists, and great tattoos. I had the pleasure of getting a Tattoo by Shaw. We did an American Traditional Tiger on my leg. I love the design he came up with, exactly what I wanted. He has a very light hand so it doesn't even hurt. Unbelievable experience. I recommend Shaw and this shop all day. I'll definitely be back multiple times!!
Just had a spine tattoo done here by Jared Shaw, loved the shop and love the tattoo. Sent him a design I wanted and he was able to trace it and get it done real quick for a great price. He was very nice and made sure i was comfortable the entire time. Heard of him from my brother who has also had really good work from him. I also have another tattoo from him a year ago and it's still looks amazing ! Definitely plan on going back for more in the future.
This is a really cool shop. As some may have stated, parking is a little tough, but it's easy enough to get dropped off or maybe take an Uber to eliminate overthinking it. I got my tattoo from Thea and I really do love it. There's nothing more beautiful than a brunette so when I had the chance to get one on me (tattoo - obvs) forever, best believe this punk jumped up to beat down (as in tattooed). I had seen Thea's work and I KNEW I had to get something from her. The colors are always bold and the lines is fly as Ph so I needed to get something from her. When I had some extra cash, I knew I was going to get something from her so I looked through her IG (as seen in my picture) for any designs that spoke to me and there it was. I went to her website to fill out the Request An Appointment page because I'm not an animal. It's LITERALLY the ONLY thing she asks for. Well, that and respect, but the latter is implied. Don't be a goon. After filling it out, we came up with an idea, day and time and I sent the deposit. Some people show up to tattoo appointments with Boba or sandwiches or something that the tattooer likes or appreciates and I believe that Thea isn't against that, I just take years to get to know people, so I went empty handed (sorry). I got there and she was pumped, prepped and ready to go. She has a great touch and moves quickly without losing any detail elements, or making it feeling rushed. You can tell that Thea loves doing what she does and that makes her amazing at it. I really love the work and I couldn't even begin to say how many compliments I get about it. Back to Thea real quick though, she's really easy going and makes sure that you're comfortable and she's one of the funniest people out in these streets. She's effortless in the way she puts you at ease, as well as puts beautiful art in and on you.
Got this done yesterday by Amanda . She was very good and professional she walked me through everything about getting my first tattoo . She talked to me the entire time and am made sure I was comfortable . She did a great job capturing my grandmas hand writing . clean line work and she talked me through the after care as well . She stands by her work 100% . The shop was clean and very friendly only down side is there's no restroom and it's cash only but other then that it was a great experience .

My cousin recommended his tattoo guy Jared Shaw and honestly I had such a badass time. Jared is super talented, very accommodating and the shop is hella nice and clean everyone there was so freaking nice and made me feel very welcome. It was my first time there so I was pretty nervous but my anxiety went away after just being there for 10 minutes because everyone was so sweet. I couldn't find anyone to fill in my weird arm gap but Jared killed it!! He covered it and I loved the tattoo! If you're looking for a place to get your first tattoo or looking for a new tattoo place, THIS IS YOUR SPOT! These guys are hella talented and trustworthy. Spend your money here
I came to this place a few weeks ago in late October and was surprised at how fast I got in. Nathan did my tattoo and i initially wanted it written from left to right on my wrist but switched it up to long ways along my forearm. I'm extremely happy with the work and for what it was, it wasn't too expensive. Nathan was extremely cool throughout the process and was able to get me out within an hour. (11/17/17) 1/17/20 - Just wanted to update my review. I've come in twice to work with Nathan since I initially came in, back in October of 2017. Nathan has been extremely accommodating and has done a great job of making sure the tattoo's are done well, and to how I want them to look (with some helpful suggestions, of course). The line work and details are clean.

For my daughter's 18th birthday she wanted a Tattoo. She decided she wanted some type of cross. I talked with Alex and gave him some ideas of what my daughter was looking for and made an appointment for my daughter, my wife and myself to get matching tattoos. Alex's communication was great. We were able to get an appointment time on her birthday that worked for us. He was very patient as well as supportive since this was my daughter's first tattoo. He had her take a break half way through the session which helped her. My wife wanted a smaller more simple version which he also was able to do. I'm giving two stars because truly one of the tattoos I got here was absoloutely amazing, and everything I could of dreamed of. But it went south from there. I did need to cancel my original appointment early the morning a day prior due to being ill with GG, and I was informed I would need to place another deposit. I agreed and specifically asked whether that additional deposit would apply toward the tattoo, and I was told that it would. When I arrived for the rescheduled appointment, I was told it did not apply and that this had been communicated via text. After reviewing the messages, I did not see that clarification reflected. I did not argue because I respected her and complied. I also want to note that I was not made aware of any written shop policy regarding deposits in this situation. Based on the wording of the conversation, it came across that the additional deposit was for accountability due to the late cancellation, rather than that the original deposit would no longer count toward the tattoo. It's also worth mentioning that policy isn't anywhere nor was communicated to me. During the session, the artist stopped partway through because she wasn't feeling well, which I completely understand and respect. However, once the tattoo healed (it has now been over a month), I noticed visible shakiness in the linework, inconsistent line weight, and areas of blowout that were not apparent initially. I want to be clear that I genuinely love the tattoo concept itself, my concern is specifically with the execution. I paid a significant amount for the piece, and while I am not seeking a refund, as nice as that'd be, I was disappointed by the technical quality of the finished linework. Especially receiving a tattoo from this artist before and it being absoloutely amazing. So trust was broken there as well. As it healed I didn't really notice at first how poorly done it was. So later, when I reached out to book my next tattoo, I did not receive a response and noticed I was blocked from viewing the artist's stories, which made the lack of communication feel exclusionary and unprofessional. My intention in this review isn't to place blame, but to ask for acknowledgment. I value transparency, especially with permanent work. I paid quite a bit for very very poorly done healed work. It ended up being over $250+. read more

I brought my brother here today who's visiting from Chicago for his first tattoo and my third! I called and they were fantastic on the phone! I got in contact via text with Nate and he answered all my questions and even scheduled the appointment for me! My brother had Nate do some script on his forearm and Nate did a great job!! Super fast and super pristine! I worked with Matty and he did such a perfect job with mine! I couldn't be happier! After he finished he even made sure he did all the color I wanted and asked if I wanted to fill the eyes with blue and then did for no extra charge!!! So so happy with this spot! First and foremost, I would highly recommend this shop. My artist was Nathan, and this was my first tattoo. He welcomed me into the shop and quickly got to work in guiding me through the process (I was a walk-in). The paperwork was simple, the shop was super clean, and the environment was completely welcoming. I ended up getting what I had originally imagined, in a different location than I had imagined which I am thankful for! Nathan recommended a better placement for the tattoo and quickly got the artwork sized up. I had two revisions and Nathan was happy to reduce the size and give me some advice. The tattoo process was quick and easy. Nathan is a fantastic tattoo artist and I can't wait to come back in! 5/5, would definitely recommend. read more

About the shop itself: Just before the Orange circle. They have limited parking in the back, however street parking is easily available. The shop is four rooms that are all connected. Very clean. About the artist I had and my tattoo: I came in one evening just looking for a quote so I can start my sleeve. I was immediately introduced by Matt. He is very friendly and of course knowledgeable. I have these three small tattoos on my arm that I wanted covered because if I start my sleeve they're just kind of in the way of having a flowing piece. And by the time I left I already left with an appointment. It was $100 to secure my appointment. Understandable. I was quoted $600 for my piece and that $100 that I put down would be going towards my piece. Matt was extremely easy to work with and always responded to my texts. (I have had a artist in the past that started a large piece and I never saw him after that session, so I had to find a new artist to finish it.) So I definitely appreciate how responsive he was. When it came to my first session we made it an easy day and just did the outline. Which I won't lie, I wasn't too fond of my lion's face in the outline, but kept telling myself it will all come together when it's shaded and completed. It healed in just under two weeks. My second session was yesterday and we honestly weren't sure how much I could handle. We were both impressed that he was able to finish the entire shading! After almost three hours all the shading was completed. We took about a 5/10 minute break once an hour. Which I appreciated! But after those three hours it was completely worth it! After being worried with the outline, the trust that I put in to Matt paid off. I am beyond happy with my tattoo! I will definitely come back to Matt for future tattoos. And definitely recommend him! read more

My experience here was amazing!! Aaron (I hope I'm spelling it the correct way) did an amazing amazing job. He made me feel so comfortable and gave me clear instructions on how to properly handle and care for my tattoo. I didn't have an exact idea of how I wanted the placement but there was nothing to worry about because he helped me with that, it came out so fucking cool and I've gotten so many compliments because of it. It was my first "big" tattoo and I set up an appointment with Jeff. He was amazing. He was talking to me & to my friend I brought along with me. He showed me his drawing before hand and even helped me with the color choices for my tattoo. His work is pretty fuckin amazing, then again every artist in that shop has some dope ass work. Shawn is a great tattoo artist! You could come with a design in hand or suggest it to them and they'll sketch you a fresh one which is what I was nervous about coming in but it was an awesome result! Super cool atmosphere and the tattoo itself took about 2 hours and it's healing beautifully. THANKS SHAWN!! read more

I've only been to this shop once, but I will definitely be back. This is my third tattoo from Chelsea. She is gentle and has amazing art and technique. She is super fun to chat with too, if you're into that. We had a great time and many of the other artists would come in to say hello and see what she was working on. Everyone was friendly and professional. I especially liked how the shop was laid out. There were quite a few rooms and each room was shared by two artists, I believe. Each artist had their own set up plus a seating area in each room where you could wait and relax. At some shops I've felt like I'm in the way, since there isn't a lot of extra space, but this shop felt very roomy and welcoming. When I was there Thea was doing a flash day and it was amazing to see how quickly she could turn out beautiful pieces. Everyone who came through while I was there seemed beyond stoked with their experience. read more

This place was so sick. After calling around a couple shops this one said they were open for walk-ins and there was no wait, the girl in the front was very nice and Jeff did an incredible job on my orange tree! I went in with a very busy picture of an orange tree and told him a little about how I wanted it. This man had an amazing vision for this tattoo and produced the most unique, fun and cute tree I could have imagined! The price was amazing for the work and time he put into it and the colors came out beautifully. Beautiful shop in the OC. Goonies is very professional and does awesome work. She takes your vision and runs with it. Her tattoos/art are very detailed and heal great. The rest of the staff are friendly and make the experience that much better. I'd recommend the shop to first timers and someone looking to add to their tattoo collection. All the work I've seen from this shop is great and consistently beautiful. Definitely worth the drive from LA read more

I had my first tattoo done at this shop and couldn't have asked for a better experience. All the staff members are super dope! I've had work the pleasure of working with two artist at this shop so far. Nate the lettering god who always hooks it up with sick fonts that never disappoint. Mike I've worked with countless times who always leaves me amazed with his work. Mike has created all my chest and stomach art work and provides nothing but the best service. I've gotten both my tattoos done by Nathan here and am a fan. Nathan makes you feel really comfortable, and listens to exactly what you want. I was a big baby both times because i got them on sensitive spots, but he was super patient and sweet throughout the entire process. I am super happy with my pieces, and am already planning the third :P The shop is clean and spacious, and everyone is always super welcoming. Would definitely recommend! read more

BEST FRIDAY THE 13th EVER! I came in for my 7th tattoo and this was the best experience i've ever had at a tattoo shop! I came in with two coworkers for the Friday the 13th special, while I signed in with one coworker the other one was running a little late and once she got there they said she was too late to sign in, but they eventually had an opening for her as well! We came in a little late (around 8) because it was when we were off and it was the only shop open later. There were a lot of people waiting but they were going through the list super fast since they had multiple artists working. I got Paul, and he was the absolute best! He was super chill, let me know everything that he was doing, and kept checking up to see if I was alright. He also kept good conversation throughout the whole piece. All the staff was super nice and the space was all clean and sanitized. This place is HUGE. At least the biggest tattoo shop I've been to, which works great for Friday the 13th. The only downside was finding parking but even then it wasn't that bad. I will definitely be returning soon! Shout-out to Paul and the rest of the staff! read more

The first tattoo is 2.5 inches in length x 2 inches in width. The second tattoo is one inch all around. The third tattoo I'd like to have it at least 3 inches in length because it's one word and in cursive I'm willing to compromise. Can you help me?

Do you guys do walk ins? and do you pierce?
Yes we take walkins stop in and one of our artist will take care of you. We do not do piercings. But there is a piercing shop next door to our tattoo parlor
Will tattoos on Friday the 13 be only from the flash sheet? Or can we bring in our small design and it's a simple design?
We are only tattooing designs from flash sheets we have on display at our shop
