I actually still remember my first appointment with Heather because I was telling her how nervous I was day of but she made me feel comfortable and guided me throughout the whole waxing process. She even tells you when to take deep breaths for parts that may hurt more than others (I know this doesn't sound like a big deal, but it is!)! I actually stopped going to Heather for a year or so because it was difficult to set up appointments with her since I worked in DC. However, now that my schedule is a little more flexible, I switched back to getting waxes by Heather. I'm really glad that I did because she's super sweet and deserves the business. I recently came in to get my arms, legs, and a Brazilian wax done and time flew by so fast because of our conversation. I didn't feel uncomfortable at any point during the waxing session (all of this came out to $170). Prices are extremely reasonable in my opinion. I used to go to one of the waxing chains in Ashburn, and I can definitely tell you that service + price at Voda Spa is way more deserving of my business. Heather also does facials :) I really hope to get a facial done by her sometime soon too. They sounded awesome when I asked her about them, and the fact they all include extractions to get all that gunky stuff out of your skin sounds appealing. In summary, reasonable prices, cozy environment, and excellent customer service. P.S. Weekends can be super hard to book with Heather, so if you need weekend appointments, book them at least 3 weeks in advance. Also, the door to enter Voda Spa is on the side of the building. There's a door outside that says "Voda Spa." Heather includes those directions when you get your appointment confirmation, but including this tip anyways in case someone forgets to read that portion :)

Some of the girls were more fair skinned than others which wasn't an issue at all. She was able to customize the formula so that each of us had a nice tan that worked with our skin tones. My friends even started getting sprayed on a regular basis too after seeing and loving my results. I am very fair skinned, so tanning beds have never been an option for me (not to mention how unhealthy and time consuming they are). I always hated the spray booths at tanning salons because they were extremely expensive and I never knew what I would come out looking like. My tan from Bronzilla Tanz is always consistent and is so much more precise than those machines that would usually miss half my body. Bronzilla Tanz has been the perfect solution for me and has taken away the stress I used to get when trying to find clothes that looked good during the winter (and even the summer when I had no time to tan at the pool). The tan leaves me glowing and usually lasts for about two weeks before starting to fade. Lights off. No staff. Nothing. Their sign said Sunday "By Appointment Only," yet apparently even when you have an appointment, no one shows up. I called their Bethesda location, and the first receptionist claimed we weren't in the system--even though I booked on Wednesday at 2:22 PM (I checked my call log and took a screenshot). Someone took all of my details including my credit card, but somehow my appointment "didn't exist." Then the owner got on the phone and said she actually could see me in their system but didn't know what happened. She blamed a software switch on Tuesday... but I booked on Wednesday. So that excuse made no sense. Her only solution was to ask if we could come tomorrow. No, we actually can't--because unlike her business, we plan ahead. I took the weekend off from my real estate schedule to celebrate. We booked a hotel in Tysons, hired a dog sitter, and made a whole day of this. And it was completely wasted. What really stunned me was the total lack of care. No apology that felt meaningful. No attempt to make it right. No offer of a complimentary service. Nothing. I'm a business owner myself, and I would never handle a mistake like this this way. Our anniversary plans were basically ruined because this spa didn't bother to honor our confirmed appointment--or provide any real remedy afterward. Don't waste your time or money here. If they can't handle a simple booking, I wouldn't trust them with anything else either.

The quality of lashes and glue she uses are so great, I've never had any problems or reactions to them. Lily has been so great with catering to what you want your lashes to look like. She has followed safety precautions for the pandemic and I feel really safe getting my lashes done by her during this time.
