I booked myself in for a much-needed deluxe facial after reading the description on She's So Fine Esthetics' website. This cute little spa, which is tucked away in a building at the corner of Lasalle and Barrydowne, was clean and cozy and offers plenty of unique services. Marie-Daniele, my esthetician, was pleasant and professional throughout the visit, explaining exactly what my service would entail. She certainly has her technique down pat - I had a hard time getting up after 90 minutes of bliss! I would not hesitate to return to She's So Fine Esthetics and I definitely recommend giving them a try if you've not already done so. I suspected the result was not going to be good as the technician was very distracted running the shop and had to get up multiple times to manage issues. I complained- and they said they would fix them. I returned to get them removed, cause I realized I don't even want fake nails. It was my second ever manicure. They charged me $20 to remove them and I'm left a week later still peeling this crap off my nails. Forgot to say for some reason I was put with the exact technician who put them on. The poor lady sitting beside me had been waiting for over an hour and a half. The man working on my nails was rushing and did not do the best job on my nails because of that. Now, as a business owner I understand that some days are very busy and it's impossible to please everyone but it was frustrating to be told they were going to be a few minutes late and having to wait over an hour. My boyfriend was waiting for me outside the shop that whole time and with every 10 extra minutes I was feeling more and more stressed. Not the ideal relaxing experience I was hoping for. I might give them one last chance but if this happens again I will not be going back.
