They didn't have feeding syringes for dogs or any animal, which I was specifically looking for this past weekend, but they had nursing kits that could be used for different animals (cats, small pets, squirrels, monkeys, etc.), which I purchased with the intention of modifying to meet my needs. And of course, I couldn't leave without grabbing an apple stick bouquet for my bunnies, wrapped in marigold, rose, and cornflower petals. Just a small variety of items available for creatures other than cats and dogs, but at least they offered some products for fish, reptiles, bunnies, and more... better than nothing. First Visit I needed a interim groomer for my dog this month. I read many of the reviews and saw some of the pictures of nicks. I thought well I am sure this still can't be happening here. At least I was hoping this wouldn't happen to my dog. I said please take good care of my dog after during drop off procedure. My dog was only getting a bath and face/paw trim. What could go wrong? As soon I walked in to pay I was immediately told my dog was knicked in the ear possibly during brushing? And there was some light bleeding. I was told they put some ointment on her ear. I Really wanted to give this place a glowing review. But I can't. My regular groomer in 11 years has never nicked either of my dogs. Sierre is very knowledgeable in the products at the store. We have had a lot of problems trying to get our dog to eat various traditional dog foods without any success. Sierre took us over to some freeze dried naturally raw/biologically balanced nutrition dog foods (food that goes back to what dogs ate in the wild). It was crazy that our little dog went over to one of the bags and started sniffing it and was attracted to raw freeze dried rabbit. Some dogs like kibble, while some dogs are more attracted to raw more natural foods. We walked out with 3 bags of raw freeze dried meats to try them on our dog, and SUCCESS! I had an appointment today to get my pomapoo groomed, mind you I have brought my 3 dogs there for as long as they have been opened and to Gilroy prior to that. The fees have been going up and up. Tell me why I would pay $90.00 for a grooming and then they charge you $30 -$40 ontop of that for a pomapoo 10 lb dog that has some matting, seems very expensive and then they end up shaving the dogs half the time. I didnt pay for a shave, the reason i bring them to a dog groomer is so i dont have to brush them out. I feel the new management there is taking advantage of their customers. I will now take all three of my dogs to Le Pooche in Morgan Hill where I will not be taken advantage of. read more

I've been going to the one in Morgan Hill now for just under two years and every single time has been a great experience. I took my new pup in for a TNT and anal gland expression. She came out all wet and dirty. When I said something to the (very cranky) front desk woman, she told me that it was normal practice to put the dogs in a tub with water during anal gland expression. She also said that the reason my dog was so dirty afterwards was because she went into their place that way. In all the years I'd taken my previous dog in for these two procedures, including with the vet, I've never had a dog come back to me wet and dirty. Never. Plus this woman acted as if I was bothering her with my concern. Really, REALLY bad customer service. I asked my vet for groomer referrals and, no surprise, this place was not on their list. My dog (Bodie) has a low maintenance coat but he HATES water. Melanie and her crew are always so patient with him and so kind to me! My boy has managed to get skunked 2 times in the last year and a half and they always sneak him in. When I have an appointment he is in and out. I am such a harsh critic and take reviews seriously as I use them when deciding where to go and Cali Pet Goodz did an awesome job of grooming my two year old Maltipoo Terrier mix. Charlie has been such a handful and full of so much energy I have not been able to professionally groom him since I got him when he was eight weeks old. I took him to Petco when he was about a year old and they sent them back half shaved because he couldn't handle the clippers very well. I tried to take him to get medically groomed because of the matting on him and they wanted to charge me $360. I took him here yesterday and they did a beautiful job and I am so grateful for that. Would most definitely be taking him here regularly. FYI the price is so affordable compared to other places; the place is very clean, staff was friendly and flexible when I was running late AND it's also a pet store to boot and they helped me with finding him the right leash FINALLY that he can't escape from. In addition, he came back with fleas and I know for certain he didn't have any prior due to the medication I give him on a monthly basis and the flea grooming that I give him consistently. I may have high standards but I don't find them to be unrealistic. I understand being a business owner is not easy. I first had an appointment at the Gilroy location couple months ago were the girl there was very rude, I wrote a review about it and I received a called few minutes after apologizing for the behavior and asking for another chance so I decided to try the Morgan hill location and I was very happy with their services, my dog was very calm and not stressed at all, beautiful grooming, everything great. So I call again today to book an appointment and once I give my information the lady (she is the manager as she later informed me) told me that she sees a note on my account about a bad review!
